The campaigns were very easy to set up and guidance was always available if needed. Once set up, they pretty much run themselves.

Importing members from a previous platform was a bit challenging but I was able to figure it out. The Zeffy team was very responsive and help

**What problems is Zeffy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing membership and taking offline sales was cumbersome before Zeffy. There was a lot of manual work involved. I am saving an incredible amount of valuable time with membership management, sales and fundraising. I can easily generate reports from the information gathered. We were paying a lot of money using our previous platform. Now I get all of what I had and more for free.

**What do you like best about Zeffy?**

The fact that I can use it as a nonprofit and not have to pay for it is huge. It provides a lot of the tools I need - ticketing platform, newsletter creation, and contact tracking are all super helpful.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

It could have more features of a CRM - many nonprofits have funders / donors that are separate from the contacts they're trying to help via their mission. Separating those two and having one CRM for fundraising and one for "clients" would be great.

Tracking donors and fundraisers makes my life easier. And it helps with follow up to have everything run through the same system.

**What do you like best about Zeffy?**

They allow us to receive 100% of the funds we raise and which our donors intend for our clients. This feels so much better than the other platforms that on;y give a tiny discount on their fees to non-profits.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

There is a small delay in receiving the funds and even when a donation payment fails we receive a notice of donation received, so you have to be careful about counting those chickens too soon.....

**What problems is Zeffy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Zeffy sends out thank you letters/tax receipts to our donors which saves us tons of volunteer manpower. It automatically adds donor contact info to our database, making eblasts seamless. Its eblast feature is great too - one stop shopping and free! Makes the slight delay in receiving funds fairly insignificant.

**What do you like best about Zeffy?**

I like how there is no fee for contributions as well as the whole CRM model that Zeffy offers. It is a great tool for non-profits just starting out with little to no overhead. Additionally, the mobile app is concise enough to receive payments but if someone is handed the device, that individual would not gain access to admin features.

A nice feature to add is the ability to cycle different bank accounts depending on the campaign.

It helps us with contributions and organizes donors in one platform. Zeffy also allows for multiple campaigns which is great rather than having to setup a separate account for each one.

**What do you like best about Zeffy?**

Zeffy is an excellent fundraising platform for nonprofit organizations. It is easy to use and helps us collect donations and manage our fundraising activities—all without platform or transaction fees. This allows more of every donation to go directly toward our mission.

We also use Zeffy to send informational emails to our supporters. The email system works very well for these mailings and is completely free. Their customer support is excellent, and they are constantly updating and improving the platform. We are extremely grateful to have access to such a helpful and affordable tool!

Not much, cannot use it as a mail CRM, but it works great

**What do you like best about Zeffy?**

Zeffy allowed us to consolidate multiple platforms into one, with no fees.  We were able to move donation collection and event hosting for all our events except for very specialized ones to Zeffy, and collect additional fund-raising income due to the platform's lack of user fees.  Now we no longer have to use ECWID to collect donations and Eventbrite to sell event admissions, Zeffy allows us to do both.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

Optional donations can be confusing to users.

**What problems is Zeffy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The key word is consolidation.  Having one tool that serves multiple purposes effectively and with more cost-effectiveness is always better for a nonprofit like ours rather than having to use multiple different platforms that offer different functionality at paid tiers.

**What do you like best about Zeffy?**

I use Zeffy to organize fundraising campaigns and connect with donors. I really like that the campaigns are clear and straightforward. The donations go straight to our bank account, which means I don't have to deal with checks or cash. All the donor emails are in one place, and I can send out emails, newsletters, and reminders instantly. I appreciate how easy the tool is to use and that there are no fees involved. The payment organization and donor information pages are valuable to me because I can track what a donor has given, their exact donation dates, and their contact information. The initial setup was really simple too; I just needed to have the bank account, EIN, and nonprofit info ready.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

I've seen some other donation sites that organize the donor information as a chart and have a few more features - beginning date of first donation.

I use Zeffy to organize fundraising campaigns and communicate with donors, with clear campaigns and direct bank donations. It consolidates donor emails for instant communication, offers easy payment organization, and donor info tracking, plus it's easy and lacks fees.

**What do you like best about Zeffy?**

Zeffy has been very easy to use and manage overall. From the user standpoint, it’s as simple as scanning a QR code or clicking a link, and within minutes they’re members. The funds are deposited directly into our account weekly, and the new member information is easy to export into a spreadsheet for tracking and management.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

The only limitation I’ve encountered is not being able to apply more than one discount code at a time, which only affects a very rare and unique situation for us. We’ve found a workaround that still makes it manageable, so overall it has not been a significant issue.

**What problems is Zeffy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a charitable organization, we are always looking for ways to eliminate unnecessary fees so more of our funds can go directly toward our mission. Zeffy has helped us accomplish that by operating on a tip-based model rather than charging standard platform fees.

Well obviously that it's free, so it makes things more available for small organizations like ours.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

Nothing right now stands out? Anything I've disliked I've put in a ticket for and is either in progress or has been fixed. Their turn around on new features/responses to feed back is way faster than most of the other companies I've tried. I've been on it since 2024, and the changes have been so fast.

**What problems is Zeffy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Processing payments, event organization, online payment options, donations for specific campaigns, outreach and reminders, receipts. It's got a lot going on. I recommend it to every charity i come in contact with.

What I like best about Zeffy is how user-friendly it is. Creating fundraising campaigns is quick and easy, and the platform provides everything you need, including QR codes and donation tools. It simplifies the entire process, making it an excellent platform for nonprofits.

So far, I haven’t experienced any problems or found anything I dislike about Zeffy. It is one of the best fundraising platforms I’ve used.

The Zeffy platform has saved our nonprofit organization nearly $4,000 over just two campaigns. Plus, with the customer management features, we've saved another $1,200 by not using Constant Contact. And I love how easy it is to create and manage campaigns. Start to finish is so simple!

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

There's not much I don't like. If I had to be picky, I'd like to get a separate notification (a special notification) when someone makes a donation in addition to a purchase. I like to send those people special thank yous.

New campaign set up is easy - we are a tiny but very busy charity, and getting used to new systems can be time-consuming. Zeffy has been a breeze! We also love the fact that there are no fees - this makes a huge difference to us. We also like the CRM aspect and the ability to email a group of people, and track engagement.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

In the UK you don't yet have a POS, so we have to use our Paypal one in the meantime.

**What problems is Zeffy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Zero fees - more funds for our charitable work. Online raffle - first time we have done this - Zeffy makes it easy. Online Art Auction - this was a breeze to set up compared to our old platform.

User friendly platform to administer and for our donors to use and navigate.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

I think the optional donation to Zeffy is a great feature to keep it "fee-free", but I think where it appears and it auto-checked  can be a little misleading to people.  Granted, many people don't actually read the specifics.   I have received many inquiries after people have purchased tickets that why was there this fee, they thought it was "fee-free".  They were unaware they had to uncheck the boxes.

A single source for many functions for our organization.  From selling raffle tickets, to event tickets, to email platform.  We are still exploring all the functions.

It's simple to use, and free platform which is so helpful for a nonprofit arts organization in this economy.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

We don't love that a fee is automatically charged, and you have to look out for the box to uncheck. We would prefer if that box were more obvious or more of a choice for the person donating to us. Can you make an exception for nonprofits using your platform? And keep that option in the for-profit sector?

**What problems is Zeffy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving the problem of there not being any free options for processing payments for our nonprofit. We can't afford large fees, and your support is helping our mission.

**What do you like best about Zeffy?**

Zeffy is so easy to use.  You just set up your zeffy account, link it to your organization's bank account and proceed with your fundraiser.  The online payments are seamless with full trail of income and transfer as well as automated responses and easy to manage campaigns.  I have saved hundreds using Zeffy!

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

I don't "dislike" this, because it must be the way Zeffy makes money to provide the service, but sometimes it takes up to a week and a half before money is transferred from Zeffy to your account.  As long as you are aware of how it is supposed to work, it is great!

**What problems is Zeffy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Collecting donations and managing responses.  It is great!

FREE to Organization and no credit card fee!! Very easy to create different types off events, etc. Excellent support system, especially in 2026. They do use a CharBot type system to initiate support. Probably the best I've ever used. If unable to resolve, a human is available to resolve any questions

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

Nothing - If I dislike something, it can be included in software update requests - and it actually happens!

Provides an excellent software system to help non-profits raise funds in a simple, easy to understand and use format. Plus, the funds are always in the bank on Monday mornings - unless a bank holiday!

**What do you like best about Zeffy?**

I like that it is free to use and allow non profits to keep more of the money they fundraise. I like that we can use it for many different types of fundraisers. It is easy to add different users, so it makes spreading the work out between volunteers and sub groups. I love that it is Canadian.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

I would like the ability to use it to print off packing/order lists for clients. I would also like the ability to deposit into different accounts  for different fundraisers.

**What problems is Zeffy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has made selling 50/50 tickets so much easier to track. We have been able to sell tickets to a fundraising movie event. We have sold orders for a popcorn fundraising. I has made it so that I don't have to worry about paying invoices after an event. We get to keep the money earned. The software is user friendly and easy to play around with.

Zeffy is so helpful to me. I am not tech-savvy, so when using Zeffy, I don't have to figure out the correct flyer size or create a list of who has paid and how much. The list of names and amounts is created for me. And we receive 100% payout. Thank you, Zeffy, for making my life less of a hassle.

It's hard to say what I like best about Zeffy because it has so many useful features.  I love how easy it is to send group emails to specific lists.  The campaign and ticketing feature mades raising and collecting money  very efficient and effective.  And I absolutely adore the silent auction feature; it was so easy to use and we doubled the money raised when we offered this online auction.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

I haven't found anything to dislike about Zeffy--it's free, it's easy to use, and it's effective!  What's not to like about that?

**What do you like best about Zeffy?**

I appreciate Zeffy because it allows us to keep 100% of the funds we raise. As someone who thinks constantly about efficiency and sustainability, I value platforms that don’t chip away at hard-earned donations. Every dollar matters — especially when you’re building scalable, impactful, and operationally excellent nonprofit capacity building.

I like that Zeffy removes friction. I don’t have to overthink transaction fees or hidden costs, which allows me to stay focused on strategy and growth rather than administrative drain.

I appreciate that the model invites donors to voluntarily cover processing fees. It feels aligned with transparency and shared ownership — people understand what it costs to move money, and they step in willingly.

I like that it’s simple but still functional. I can spin up a clean, professional donation page quickly without needing a developer or a long onboarding process. For a lean team, that matters.

I value that Zeffy makes fundraising accessible for organizations at different stages of growth. It democratizes tools that historically have only been available to larger nonprofits with bigger budgets.

Most of all, I appreciate that it supports mission first. The platform doesn’t try to upsell me — it simply allows us to focus on impact.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

There honestly aren’t many downsides to Zeffy — especially given that it allows nonprofits to keep 100% of their donations — but there are a few limitations to consider. I’ve found that while it’s incredibly cost-effective and easy to use, it doesn’t offer the same depth of integrations, advanced reporting, or built-in marketing automation that some larger, paid platforms provide. For more complex fundraising strategies or enterprise-level needs, I sometimes need to supplement it with other tools — but for straightforward, mission-focused fundraising, it’s hard to beat the value.

The software is easy to use, and it’s simple to create campaigns. For our Kiwanis Literacy Club Foundation and Kiwanis Clubs, not having to pay fees helps our foundation save money and put more books into kids’ hands. We can create a quick campaign on the fly to accept donations for sponsoring books. We don’t sell books; instead, we find sponsors for them, and those sponsors get to hand the books out. So far, we’ve done over 500,000 books. We’ve tried Square, Zelle, Venmo, and PayPal, but Zeffy has been the best for us, and it’s the only one we use now.

Only that I did not find it sooner!!!  But really there is nothing they keep the interface the same and its easy.

It could use more explicit instructions regarding the extra donation.  It's not clear to users that the extra donation does not go to the non-profit, and when they realize it later, there is no recourse for a refund.

If you do have a question, there are ample answers and tutorials. It's also lovely to set up and be done. There is no need to constantly update or micromanage anything through the process.

**What do you like best about Zeffy?**

Zeffy makes it easy to create the forms needed for donors to fill out and donate with a debit or credit card.  Zeffy also has other forms one can create for auctions, stores, lotteries, and events.  I have never used a platform like Zeffy and found it easy to learn.  I like that it is easy to create and embed QR codes and form links into my organization's website and onto different flyers.  The QR codes and links can be shared and will still work.  
Zeffy automatically sends donations to your bank account and will send receipts to the donors for their taxes.  At the end of the year, Zeffy will send donors a full list of their donations if they donated to different organizations through Zeffy.  Makes it easier for taxes.  
We have not been charged any fees to use Zeffy by Zeffy.  Zeffy does ask each donor for a small donation to Zeffy to keep them from having to apply fees.  This has been working for them.
Zeffy keeps all the information about your donors for you and it is there any time you need it.  You can send thank you emails directly to your donors through Zeffy too.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

There are not many downsides to Zeffy from my perspective.  We needed something that would meet our needs and not cost us a lot of money because we are a non-profit and just starting out.  Zeffy is a basic donation platform that is secure and easy to use for both the users and donors.  There are not a lot of frills, bells and whistles that someone might be looking for.  You can only make the donation forms look so good with the features allowed.  And that is good for us.  Our story is on the form.  The needed information from the donors is on the form.  There are not a lot of downsides.

We needed a way to take online and card donations.  Zeffy was the best one for us because of the $0 fees.  We are a new non profit organization.

Everything's in list view, so the auction form is long. Also, it's not obvious how to bypass the tipping option so some supporters tip over 15% by accident.

We especially like the option for recurring monthly donations which encourages our parishioners to consider monthly giving for support of our facility and spiritual ministry.  It also tracks the donations from each donor for ease of compiling annual totals for tax deductions and end of year summaries to be prepared for each parishioner.

Tools and recommendations are provided to help donors understand how Zeffy is funded. Embedded forms work well and look great. Good app to support web forms, on site registration and payments.

Some of the more robust features of paid CRMs are not present (pipelines, form logic, automated pathways, etc), but these can also be overwhelming for small organizations. Some of the more detailed customizations for forms, etc are limited. There is no option to create entirely private forms - this could be a really helpful option to have.

Zeffy was extremely easy to use once our account was set up. When I had questions the customer service support was outstanding and replied quickly.  Zeffy allowed us to better track ticket sales and sell tickets in advance for multiple days.

Connecting to our bank and setting up the account took a little bit of time but customer service was able to help us.

At this point I don't have any downsides.  However I do need to email support and ask a few questions. Depending on the answers, I may have some suggestions then.  
One question I have is does Zeffy put an EIN number on receipts that are sent out?
Another question is when one person sponsors a table that includes other people, can Zeffy send out an email to each person who is registered to that table getting their credit card information so that purchases can be charged directly to them at the event?  
If one or both of these aren't currently available then those would be my "downsides."

I have had very few issues with Zeffy and each one has been solved.  Mainly they were questions I had on how to find/create things on the different campaigns.

The interface is easy to use, and I appreciate the zero-fee option for transactions. The engagement tools are also a nice recent addition for nonprofits that wish to track the behavior of their target audience.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

Zeffy doesn’t offer an integration with Canva, which really limits how I can design email templates.

It also takes extra steps to upload data from Zeffy into a CRM like Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud. On top of that, the tools that are easiest to use tend to be expensive. That said, I understand these may not be Zeffy’s top priorities.

I also wish to see more languages being supported, such as Chinese.

We are a young nonprofit and our budget is very limited. We use Zeffy to save the transaction cost, fundraising marketing/design cost, and having more data to understand our audience. I think Zeffy understands us. So, thank you!

I really love everything about Zeffy. The setup process was simple and easy to understand, even as a newer nonprofit getting started with fundraising and event support. The customer service has also been great, which made the experience even better. I appreciate that Zeffy gives nonprofits an affordable way to collect donations, sell tickets, and manage campaigns without high platform fees taking away from the mission.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

The only thing I would say is that the mobile app seems to have limited editing capabilities, or I may not have fully learned how to use all of the features yet. For me, setting things up and making edits feels much easier on the desktop version than on mobile.

**What do you like best about Zeffy?**

Creating events using their step-by-step process is very easy.  We can tailor it to not only include our brand, but elements of the event itself.  This is our first year using Zeffy.  They made it easy to track payments and donations made for our two events.  I am not well-versed in current technology, so the ease in which I was able to set up forms, etc. was very helpful and intuitive.  I had just a few questions and was able to use their chat option.  Customer support was very responsive.  I have recommended Zeffy to several nonprofits in our area!

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

If one can even call it a dislike...it is more of a concern.  As a nonprofit and chief operations officer, I need to know the bottom line, financially.  When setting up our Zeffy account, I wondered if I needed to see or acknowledge when our supporters pay the extra few dollars to Zeffy.  We had been using 3 other payment methods for our events and the fees we had to pay took money away from the purpose of our non-profit, which is to help veterans.  I was told by Zeffy that I would not be able to see those, but if our supporters didn't pay, then we would not be able to participate in Zeffy.  So I added verbiage to our emails to our supporters which states that when they pay the extra percentage, they help keep it free for us.  I still don't know how much our supporters are giving...I just hope it's enough for us to remain Zeffy customers.

Zeffy helps me know the bottom line for each event financially.  This reduces the amount of time I spend on accounting tasks and gives us a clear picture of funds accrued.  I can easily track payments back to participants for accounting and acknowledgement purposes.  Zeffy helps us easily create our advertisements for the events by providing QR codes and links to the events.  We can easily upload our files with our logos, keeping our brand consistent and professional and cute!

Zeffy made fundraising for our school project so easy and seamless. From set-up to getting our funds, it was simple. People commented on how organized the platform was and easy to use.

I did have to change the fundraiser to a different category at one point so it would be helpful if the different types of options were more detailed.

Zeffy took all of the leg work out of running a fundraiser. I did not have to keep track of money, even cash donations were more easily handled. People enjoyed the simplicity of purchasing our raffle tickets rather than having to do it all by hand.

Having a free platform like Zeffy is amazing for our micro non-profit because every dollar saved advances our mission. I love that Zeffy generates tax receipts, integrates into our website, and has a mobile app for taking payments on our cell phones. It's a relatively user-friendly donation platform compared to others, integrating a database, payment processor, and fundraising campaign tool all in one. Zeffy allows us to track and import donors, see how much they donated, pull reports, send donation receipts, send email blasts, create fundraising campaigns, sell tickets, and manage everything in a mobile fashion. The initial setup for Zeffy was extremely easy, much easier than setting up an account for Paypal.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

I dislike that there isn't a way to quickly add a campaign or record a donation without assigning it to a campaign. We receive donations regularly that aren't for a specific event or fundraiser. We should be able to record those to a donor's profile without having to input or make up a campaign to do it. I would love additional email templates and pop-ups on the sides of the templates that explain how to operate the template. There is a learning curve to tailoring a template.

It's easy to set up, simple for families to use, and makes managing registrations effortless.

**What do you dislike about Zeffy?**

One feature that would make it even better would be the ability to include a label or descriptor with an event time. We host two sessions on the same day, one in English and one in Spanish. Being able to display "11:30 AM (Spanish)" and "2:00 PM (English)" directly with the event times would make registration much clearer for attendees.
