# What's the most trusted Returns Management platform by supply chain managers improving efficiency, based on reviews?

Efficiency and customer experience pull in different directions more often than returns management vendors let on, so what's most trusted returns management platform by supply chain managers improving efficiency, based on user reviews, needed a closer look than the usual feature comparison gives you. Here's what stood out reading that category with an efficiency lens specifically:

parcelLab: Turns routine order tracking and returns into branded, personalized experiences, with one team crediting it for reducing support strain and improving customer retention by unifying fragmented logistics data across multiple carriers.

Narvar: Centralizes shipment tracking events across carriers into one view, which one user described using to share estimated delivery date findings with their team and adjust routing decisions as a result.

AfterShip: Connects with over a thousand carriers and provides branded tracking pages, with one team pointing to a meaningful drop in "where is my order" support tickets after automating tracking notifications.

ReturnGO: Automates the returns process from request through label generation, with one merchant crediting it for eliminating what used to be fully manual refund and return fee handling.

The efficiency gains described look different depending on team size and priority. Some point to time saved on manual work, others point more to the data and routing decisions that come out of better visibility.

For anyone running returns at real volume, which of these actually reduced the manual review queue day to day rather than just making the customer-facing side smoother? And how long did it take before the automation was trusted enough to run with minimal oversight?

I’d measure trust by how much of the exception queue can eventually run without human review. Automating labels and notifications is useful, but the bigger efficiency gain comes when straightforward returns are resolved automatically and staff only touch genuine exceptions. I’d track manual interventions per 100 returns before and after rollout to see whether the platform actually reduced operational work.
