I have been using this yubikey physical device since last 6 months when I joined current organization. In my current organization, yubikey is being used as MFA solution which is paired with PingID. As per current client security policy, some phone device model are not allowed to pair with pingid so here in this case, yubikey can be used to authenticate users as multi factor authentication.

The best part I like about yubikey is, it does not require finger print. When paired and asked for MFA, you just need to insert yubikey device in system and touch the yubikey and a random code will be generated from there which will authenticate you. Very easy to use. In the last section, I mentioned about yubico manager tool. With the help of this tool, we can reset PIN for yubikey and create new configuration as well. One thing I dislike about yubikey is, suppose user forgot yubikey PIN and want to reset the PIN. They installed yubico manager which required admin rights to install and also after opening the application, the sector for yubikey PIN reset also requires admin rights in the system then only users will be able to reset the PIN.
