Workflows allow you to automate various actions and these are also customizable and shareable among teams. Despite the level of separation provided by the tool for different projects, Youtrack also allows issues to be shared between different projects and collaborate seamlessly. In the beginning, we had to learn how to work with the system and read the guide. But you can quickly get used to this platform. The logic and operators aren't conventional compared to 'regular' consumer search experiences, and although it allows you to search with complexity, intuitiveness just isn't there. **Recommendations to others considering YouTrack:** If you are using other Jetbrains software, youtrack might make a lot of sense to you. It is also nice that we are constantly able to update because it helps our company in particular, stay on top of various projects at any given time. **What do you dislike about YouTrack?** I think YouTrack can be a bit tricky to use at times and sometimes it can be difficult to search a particular issue that has been logged. Although, you are able to "watch" certain items, it can be a bit confusing on how to follow items if you don't know that you are to use the star to do so. **Recommendations to others considering YouTrack:** YouTrack is a great tool if you have many people working to build, update, or improve one database. This tool is really helpful when one person notices an error and needs another person to fix the error. Its Dashboard widgets and agile boards are super useful and easy to use. Many of the fields are super configurable to allow for a very personalized integration. **What do you dislike about YouTrack?** Still has some bugs, glitches and UX issues that can be rather annoying at times. Has less integration possibilities with other products than bigger and more known products like Jira. **What problems is YouTrack solving and how is that benefiting you?** It was perfect for our needs as a small startup company that focuses on a small number of products. Having it as a cloud solution that did not require any in-house integration was very useful and allowed us to have employees from different locations around the globe use the same system. The Agile boards are easy to use and manage. Having personal dashboards really helped both the programmers and managers keep track of everything that was on their plate, and the addition of the personalized Projects view really helped keep track of where the team was, especially during daily scrums ### 29. Keeping your bugs in one place is not the only thing that the software offers. You can effortlessly customize the set of issue attributes based on your company's needs (for example, bug priorities, bug types, teams, data about sprints, etc), work with multiple issues at the same time and pin your bug reports to support requests for further follow ups if necessary. It's not a secret that a company might have a thousand of open both bug reports and feature requests at the same time, so to avoid duplicates when creating a bug report, the software will offer a list of similar issues to you. This feature is also useful when you are replying to a user since you can quickly copy and paste your previous response and save quite a lot of time without additional searching. However, project management requires significant more setup and it does feel a lot more native to unrelated, development or team tasks to projects working to particular methodolgies.
