**What do you like best about wxrks?**

What I like best about Bureau Works is that it brings everything I need for translation projects into one platform. The interface is clean and intuitive, so it's easy to find assignments, use translation memory, check terminology, and complete quality reviews without switching between multiple tools. It runs smoothly, even when working on larger files, and the automatic saving feature is something I've come to rely on.

The AI suggestions and translation memory help speed up repetitive tasks while still letting me make the final decisions, which has improved both my productivity and consistency. I also like that it integrates well with different file types and workflows, making it easier to manage projects from start to finish. Getting started didn't take long because the layout is straightforward, and whenever I needed help, the available documentation and support resources were useful. From a value standpoint, the platform saves enough time that it feels like a worthwhile investment for teams and organizations managing regular translation work.

**What do you dislike about wxrks?**

One thing I'd like to see improved is that some of the advanced features take a little time to get used to, especially if you're new to translation management platforms. While the interface is generally clean, there are moments when finding a specific setting or project option isn't as intuitive as it could be. I also think having a few more customization options for the workspace would make the experience even better.

Occasionally, AI suggestions or translation memory matches still need manual adjustments, but that's fairly common with translation tools. none of these issues have been major enough to affect my work, but smoothing out the learning curve and adding a bit more flexibility would make the platform even stronger.

Before using Bureau Works, it was easy for translation projects to become scattered across emails, spreadsheets, and different file versions. Keeping track of terminology, updates, and review feedback took more time than it should have, especially when several people were involved in the same project.

With Bureau Works, everything is managed in one place, which has made the entire workflow much more organized. Translation memory, AI suggestions, and built-in quality checks help reduce repetitive work and catch inconsistencies early, so I can focus more on the translation itself. I'd estimate it saves me a few hours each week on larger projects, and collaboration is much smoother because everyone is working from the same platform instead of exchanging multiple files back and forth.

What I find most helpful about Wxrks is that it makes the entire translation process feel simple. The interface is clean and easy to navigate, so I don't spend time looking for tools or settings. The platform runs smoothly, and I can create projects, upload files, and work through translations without interruptions. I also like that it remembers previous translations, which helps keep my work consistent and saves time on repeated phrases. When working with others, everyone can stay on the same project instead of exchanging different file versions. Overall, it lets me focus on translating instead of managing files or figuring out the software.

I haven't come across any serious downsides. The only thing I noticed is that it can take a little time to get familiar with where some features are, especially if you're new to the platform. After that, it's been easy to work with.

**What do you like best about wxrks?**

The display of each function/icon is very easy to understand. BWX also displays translation results with a similarity level of 100% up to 50%, which will greatly help in providing inspiration to translators to adjust their translations so that they remain consistent with the standards of the project being worked on. 

In addition, another valuable feature is the filter, which provides many filter options and makes it easier for translators to search for something based on their needs.

Once we open the editor page, everything is there to help us to finish our jobs. From looking for suggestions, glossary, searching spesific terms based on previous works, supported links. All available in one page, one click. No waste of time. 

Source-target segments are designed in proper size and view, so we can write down our translation with ease.

In addition, I have found that my PM can quickly and easily perform task reassignment for a more equitable allocation.

BWX customer support seem very quick to solve every issue that being reported. Based on my experience never an issue being solved more than 24 hour and it helps alot for projects with tiny deadline.

With high load since the day one I use BWX, my frequence of use this platform is also high too. It helps me to gain better understanding this platform day by day.

Whenever a big task is assigned, many times we have to wait for hours just to see it appear on our dashboard.

After 8 years of collaboration with Bureau Works as a linguist and translator, I have had a largely positive experience.   ### 6. Very useful tool, but it still can improve a lot by looking at its main competitors (Phrase mainly)

**What do you like best about wxrks?**

Well, since my last review, wxrks has improved a little. I still miss some features that I can find on competitors like Phrase (if it's interesting, I can send you guys some examples afterwards), but it's gotten more accurate. 
But one thing that keeps me from giving it a 10 is its spellchecker: Portuguese suffered a big bupdate/revision in 1998 and wxrks keeps me sending change suggestions based on the previous model!!!
Nonetheless, I really recommend it!

**What do you dislike about wxrks?**

Minor bugs:
- when you are making changes on a segment, if you go up or down within the project, you lose all changes made (update: still doing this);
- sometimes when you're searching on the Glossary or MT, the field gets blank and you suddenly start typing on the segments (update: same here);
- it could make "suggestions" of words already used in the project when they appear again (like Chrome's searching feature and Word's guessing the word feature)
- if a word is not on the "dictionary" or "glossary", you can't add it (I always find an error while trying to) (update: this is a major nuisance)

**What problems is wxrks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I think it's updating gradually, becoming more responsive, faster and reliable. I feel confident using it now!

One thing I like most about Bureau Works is how smoothly it handles large translation projects without disrupting my workflow. The platform is easy to navigate, the editor is responsive, and tools like translation memory and QA checks help me work faster while maintaining consistency. One thing I would like to see improved is offline support. Since Wrks is cloud-based, losing my internet connection can interrupt my work until I'm back online. **What do you like best about wxrks?**

The workflow is usually very fast and profitable-friendly. The platform is rich in options, yet easy to use, and it helps both the non-experienced user and the veteran user. Also, the contents are of great quality (they had such great translators over the years!), which means the workflow now is more about reaching the closest to perfection as possible without great effort.

**What do you dislike about wxrks?**

There is a minor nuisance -the copy/paste tag (especially those blank "non-breaking space" tags cannot be copied from source to target, which always gives this incompletion feeling when you deliver. But this is a very minor issue and doesn't affect the overall quality of the platform, which is great.

**Recommendations to others considering wxrks:**

Whether you are searching for a good, serious agency to manage your texts or a good, serious agency to work with, I definitely recommend the Bureau experience!

**What do you like best about wxrks?**

I use wxrks to manage my freelance editing projects for a luxury fashion brand and it helps keep my workflow organized by tracking project deadlines. It makes communication and file feedback with high-end clients much smoother. I particularly like the AI features, especially the MTPE tools, which significantly speed up the editing process while keeping quality high. These tools give me a solid starting draft to work from, saving a lot of time on initial edits while allowing me to maintain the brand's exact tone and standards. The initial setup of wxrks was very easy and straightforward, and overall, it meets my needs really well.

Nothing major comes to mind—maybe just a few minor UI tweaks for smoother navigation, and highlighted words that often distract. But overall it meets my needs really well.

**What do you like best about wxrks?**

I like that I can talk to real people and chat with them; it creates a familiar atmosphere while working for Wxrks. I also appreciate the consistency. I’ve been working for Wxrks for a year, and I’m assigned tasks every week.

**What do you dislike about wxrks?**

- Missing information for translators that affects the quality of the translation: 
1. in the source text I often have only a number (Ctrl+i) that refers to a certain world, but I do not know the word, therefore the overall meaning of my translation and the use of certain articles, conjugations might be ambiguous.
2. same goes for abbreviations, when I only have capital letters and do not know what ther refer to
3. I never had images/videos as reference materials for the translation. For example an English word can have multiple translations in Hungarian depending on how a certain object looks
- The Ai assistant sometimes works extra. I mentioned already the first two points as a feedback, and the Ai assistant added some extra info to my ticket I never said. Nevertheless, no change was made anyway, we still have the same problems.
- The workload is constant but small. It would make more sense to work with fewer translators and provide them with a larger workload.

I like the glossary. Whenever I come across a specific term, I can look it up and see how I or we used it before, which helps me keep the translation consistent and uniform.

**What do you like best about wxrks?**

The software is very advanced, but still easy to use. Everything works just as you'd expect and the AI tools have gone off the roof, making my daily workflow fast and steady. UI is logical and everything is where they need to be. 

Projects are also very transparent, being able to see the total AND net word rates along with a text sample is a big plus. It's things like these that separate good and top tier platforms. 

Project managers and everybody else that I've been in contact with have been very friendly and helpful. I've not had much problems but when something feels unsure, they are always happy and fast to respond with whatever you ask. 

Payments are always on time and haven't had any major issues in the past 5 years.

**What do you dislike about wxrks?**

There is nothing specific that I would improve, maybe a few editor-related bugs/issues regarding tags within text. But then again, this is nothing major and daily life feels awesome with wxrks!

**What problems is wxrks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping track of projects, available tasks, payables, you name it - Everything in one place. The entire package is a great tool. Everything is convenient and I've encountered no problems with anything during my 5+  years with them.

Bureau Works is a great platform. It’s very user-friendly, and it provides solutions for my project translation and task management needs. The site content reads fluently, which makes it easy to understand exactly how to submit requests and navigate the interface.

I use wxrks because I can access the tasks from any device with an internet connection, and its user interface is clear and intuitive. I like the option to join all separate tasks from one project into one editor and work on all strings at the same time. The translation memory is very helpful, and the option to search for terms and expressions in the TM is something I always use. It's also super easy to set up, just log in with e-mail and password.

The automated translation for the Bulgarian language makes some suggestions for the translation of technical terms out of context, so I have to use it with care. Also, when searching for terms in the translation memory, the default view is only 5 results. If I change the number of results, it resets to 5 when I go back and forth in different features. For example, there is currently no option to transfer the same line items directly from a project to an invoice, so we have to recreate them manually. This increases processing time and creates additional opportunities for errors.

The "smells" usage by linguists proved to have some difficult ramp up.  The AI engines for the lesser tier locales were problematic.  We had to turn off for some locales at linguist requests.  We didn't have funds to license other engines and connect, which looked like pretty clean setup.

We served nonprofits, who often had minimal content structure and version control management.  wxrks was very helpful in handling a variety of source formats and workflows that helped us support client needs. The ability to find contracts on a single platform, track their progress and work simultaneously using translation memory tools, glossaries and integrated AI, with a comprehensive review and editing workflow involving all the relevant parties

The visibility of the segments is not ideal; the spaces are often difficult to see with the naked eye. 
Certain functions, such as ‘apply to all’ for translations, lack sufficient precision and can easily lead to errors. The editing and review process is too tedious.
You have to filter the segments to view those that have been edited one by one, unfilter once done, and then filter again to view the comments. As a result, it’s easy to miss an edit or a comment. This needs to be more seamless. 
I never receive a notification when the text has been sent back for approval, which means I have to check regularly to see if a project has turned green, and this can slow down the workflow.

The support is excellent! The team replies to all our questions quickly and is always willing to help.

We regularly encounter issues and log errors that cannot be resolved on our end, requiring us to contact the support team for assistance. In many cases, there is no clear explanation for the root cause. For example, a temporary connectivity issue during project creation can result in persistent problems throughout the project's lifecycle, ultimately forcing us to recreate the entire project from scratch. Or the cost calculation process can take an unexpectedly long time without any reason. Even for relatively small files, generating the log file can sometimes take up to 30 minutes.

On a side note, the vendor payment is very limited, which doesn't allow us to add specific price types such as fixed rates, additional fees, minutes. It's very limited to a few rates and doesn't allow the PMs to manually add some extra costs.

Wxrks has significantly reduced the amount of manual work our Project Managers need to perform by automating repetitive tasks and streamlining project workflows. This has improved efficiency and we expect it to allow our team to focus on higher-value activities rather than administrative work.

The integrated AI functions are innovative – somebody really sat down and thought what could be helpful for the localization process and what is missing and/or possible with the current state of technology. The suggestions are usually of a high standard.

The loading times are usually too slow, disrupting the all important flow, especially during edting and QA steps in localization. Some important functions were initially absent or difficult to find or use or remain so. Sometimes, the plethora of functions gets in the way of the actual work, like clutter, as most of them aren't always necessary. UI could be improved and compacted more to have a better overview of the body of text, which is essential for localization jobs. If I remember correctly, there's no download option for bilingual files (or monolingual target files), e.g. to conduct an external spellcheck, print out the document or see it in another environment (such as Word or Powerpoint) which is sometimes helpful, sometimes necessary
