What do you like best?

The best ever server which I used in my organization for identity solutions. It provides multiple identity solutions such as OAuth, OpenID, SSO, Provisioning, JIT, Multi-Factor Authentication, Fine-grained access control, SOAP and many more. The most likely feature is that you don't need to do any implementations as it has whatever you need for identity or authentication systems. You can integrate your authentication system with WSO2 identity server by doing some configurations in the GUI itself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Documentation is sufficient to get up and running but soon its not enough to customize to enterprise needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

To startup, WSO2 recomends to use a partner support. In our experience, is not the best choice, at least in LATAM. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

We needed to provide a solution that shielded some java, typo3 and Sharepoint applications from accessing different user stores with some standard APIs and the WSO2 Identity Server really helped us. Consuming the provided SAML token the applications developed in different technologies were able to consume user information coming from different stores. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Sometimes you need to read more than one basic example to setup a complex solution and even if they are coming from wso2 employees they are available from personal blogs. So you do not have a single place to find the documentation, but you have to google the net. And these examples are also mentioned by the official documentation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We needed to autheticate users coming from different user stores within application developed using different technology, so we used wso2 Identity Server as a central point for authentication regardless of the technology used. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
