"Interactive Messaging Made Easy for Large Teams"
5/5
What do you like best about Workshop?

I particularly like the user interface of Workshop; it's so easy to use and makes the platform enjoyable. The customizations within the emails, especially in design and inserting specific elements, make it more fun and interactive, which is one of my favorite features. I also find the tracking capabilities really helpful for auditing purposes, allowing me to see who read the emails and how many times they've opened them. This part is especially useful for ensuring important communication reaches everyone it needs to. Additionally, the setup was pretty easy, and from what I've heard, there were no complaints with the onboarding process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A reliable solution for streamlined internal communication"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Workshop?

Workshop provide effective and simplifies internal communication. It provides a structured way to share updates, announcements, and important information across teams without relying heavily on mismatched emails or chats. The interface is clean and easy to use, which makes it quick to create and distribute messages. I also appreciate the analytics and feedback features, as they help track engagement and ensure that communications are actually being seen and understood. It helps centralize communication, reduce noise, and keep everyone aligned, especially in environments where clear and consistent messaging is important. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workshop?

One thing I dislike about Workshop is the limited customization in certain areas like designing communications. It would be helpful to have more flexibility with layouts, styling, and visual elements to better tailor messages to different audiences . And working on the same template with multiple users isn’t always smooth, which can slow down team workflows when coordinating content and sometime it feels restrictive. Response from Cassandra Brooks of Workshop

Anmol,

Thanks so much for this — “reduce noise and keep everyone aligned” is exactly what we’re aiming for.

Really glad the structure and analytics are pulling their weight for you (that’s where a lot of teams start to feel the difference, not just see it). And hearing that it’s helping move things out of scattered emails and chats into something more intentional? That’s a win.

Appreciate you taking the time to share this — it means a lot.

"Workshop Review"
4/5
What do you like best about Workshop?

What I like most about Workshop is the analytics and the ability to target individuals who haven't opened emails, and then resend to those people to ensure they're getting the necessary information. I also like the Journeys features and the ability to create drip campaigns. The initial setup for Workshop was pretty easy as representatives from Workshop worked with our IT team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workshop?

So as an admin user of Workshop, I would really like the ability to delete any entries on the calendar feature. Currently, Workshop doesn't save one person's edits when two people are working in an email or template. It would be ideal to work in tandem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Workshop?

It has revolutionized our internal comms strategy. The professional look of the emails elevates their importance. The back-end data points are hugely helpful to inform how our staff is interacting, or not even opening, our key leadership communications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workshop?

It takes time to build the templates and emails but I'm thankful for have a staff member who takes on that responsibility. It's worth it! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Extremely Valuable for Internal Comms—Journeys and Email Tracking Shine"
5/5
What do you like best about Workshop?

Workshop is an extremely valuable tool for internal communicators. I personally like the new Journeys feature and the ability to see if someone received/opened the email. It help a lot when you get a message from someone stating, "I never received that email." Workshop gives me the tool to go back, check and confirm the email recipients, date, time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workshop?

While it integrates with Slack, I'd love to see a more formatting integration so that our people could experience Workshop layouts in Slack rather than a link to read the email. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fantastic Platform with a Robust Email Builder, Analytics, and User Management"
5/5
What do you like best about Workshop?

I love the robust email builder, user management, analytics, and more. It's a fantastic platform. The customer service reps are fast and great to work with, and to quote my IT team, the set up and integration one was one of the easiest they had the pleasure of working on. My team uses workshop multiple times a week. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workshop?

Sometimes the robustness goes a little too deep - it's very easy to be inconsistent when spacing out blocks and rows because you may have done padding on different pieces vs rows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Cassandra Brooks of Workshop

Okay, this one covers all the bases — we love to see it 😄

So glad the platform’s working well across the board, and especially great to hear your IT team had an easy time with setup (we know that’s not always the case).

And huge shoutout back to our support team (they’ll be smiling at this one!!)

Thanks for being part of Workshop (multiple times a week, no less!) — really appreciate it.

"Powerful internal communications platform that actually gets employees to read emails"
5/5
What do you like best about Workshop?

Workshop makes internal communications incredibly easy and effective. The drag-and-drop email editor is intuitive and doesn’t require design or coding skills, which saves tons of time. I also love the analytics — being able to track opens, clicks, read time, and engagement helps us understand what actually works. The integrations with tools like Slack, Teams, and HR systems make targeting and segmentation seamless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workshop?

Pricing may be a bit high for smaller teams since entry plans start around $250/month depending on employee count. Also, some advanced features like automation journeys, segmentation, or SSO are only available in higher tiers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Cassandra Brooks of Workshop

Martino,

This is so great to hear — thank you!

“Actually gets employees to read emails” is kind of the whole goal 🙂

Really glad the editor is saving you time and the analytics are helping you see what’s landing (and what’s not).

And love that you called out integrations — getting the right message to the right people without extra lift is a big part of making comms actually work.

Appreciate you taking the time to share this.
