## About Worksection
Worksection is a project management software solution that helps teams combine tasks, project timelines, time tracking, work chats, and file storage into a single unified workspace. When work lives in five different software apps, tasks in one place, chats in another, files somewhere else, important details get lost, and nobody sees the full project picture. Worksection puts everything into one system for one transparent per user price. This keeps daily team operations organized without the constant hassle of switching between multiple digital tools. Key system capabilities break down into several core areas. Project management tool offers tasks with deadlines, assignees, and customizable statuses for clear execution. Visual planner provides interactive Gantt charts, Kanban boards, and project calendars for visual timeline planning. Time tracker allows users to track work hours directly inside tasks and bill clients at accurate hourly rates. Work chats ensure context rich team discussions live right inside each individual task comment thread. File storage keeps project documents and attachments stored directly next to the tasks they belong to. Time tracking and client billing are built right into the platform, core operational features that many alternative tools sell only as separate paid add ons. Who it fits includes teams from 5 to 50 or more members across agencies, IT companies, consulting firms, manufacturing, and construction industries. It is especially effective for service based teams that regularly bill clients for their worked hours. Worksection has been helping businesses organize their daily projects and workflows since 2008. The platform is fully GDPR and ISO 27001 certified, supports 11 languages, and offers a completely free plan for small teams of up to 5 users.

**What do you like best about Worksection?**

What I like best about Worksection is how it centralizes every moving piece of our B2B marketing campaigns in one single workspace, eliminating the scattered email threads, disjointed spreadsheets, and separate shared drives that bogged down our team before. As Marketing Operations & Client Strategy Manager at Carolina Digital Collective, we run a steady stream of B2B lead gen campaigns, virtual event productions, and branded content deliverables for enterprise clients, with a lean team and no dedicated IT support. Worksection’s drag-and-drop project timeline builder is our most heavily used feature; it saves me hours each week when mapping out multi-week virtual event campaigns. For example, when we built a 6-week webinar campaign for a SaaS client, I could quickly line up tasks for copywriters, graphic designers, our freelance video vendor, and the client’s stakeholder approval checkpoints on the same timeline. I can drag milestone deadlines to shift the whole workflow if the client delays feedback, without reworking an entire Excel project plan and resending updates to every team member.

The custom task fields are another standout feature we rely on daily. We built custom fields to tag tasks by client name, campaign stage, approval status, and vendor contract ID. This lets me instantly filter all work tied to a specific enterprise client or flag any pending approval tasks that risk pushing back a campaign launch. Before Worksection, I spent nearly an hour every morning cross-checking multiple documents to identify bottlenecks; now I pull a filtered task view in seconds to catch stalled items, like a delayed graphic asset needed for our client’s webinar landing page. This visibility has cut our missed minor deadlines drastically, which keeps our B2B client relationships stable.

One unexpected benefit is Worksection’s built-in internal comment and file attachment system tied directly to individual tasks. Previously, feedback for content drafts lived in email inboxes or separate Google Docs, so our creative team often missed critical client notes buried in long message chains. Now all feedback, creative assets, and revision requests live on the relevant task card. When our freelance video editor uploads a branded event teaser clip, they can drop their questions directly on that task, and the client’s feedback gets added to the same thread. No more digging through old emails to confirm revision requirements when finalizing deliverables.

We also value its flexible permission controls, which fit our agency model mixing full-time staff and contract creative vendors. I can grant outside freelancers access only to their assigned tasks, hiding sensitive client strategy documents and unrelated campaign work. This keeps client data secure without creating cumbersome access setup work, critical since we don’t have an IT team to manage user permissions. It’s simple enough for new freelance contractors to learn within minutes, so we avoid long onboarding delays every time we bring on a new vendor for a content production project.

Overall, Worksection’s adaptable structure fits our varied B2B marketing and virtual event workflows. It does not lock us into rigid, pre-set templates that don’t match our agency’s unique campaign processes. The combination of visual timelines, customizable task tracking, task-specific collaboration, and granular access controls has streamlined our operations, reduced administrative overhead, and helped our lean team consistently deliver high-quality work for our clients under tight timelines.

**What do you dislike about Worksection?**

What I dislike about Worksection centers around its rigid reporting engine, clunky mobile experience, and limited native integrations, which create extra manual work for our lean agency team at Carolina Digital Collective. As Marketing Operations & Client Strategy Manager, I manage multiple concurrent B2B lead gen campaigns and virtual event projects, so robust reporting and on-the-go access are essential. The built-in reporting tools are the biggest pain point. While we can pull basic task completion data, custom report building is extremely restrictive. When I need to compile consolidated campaign progress and vendor hour summaries for our enterprise clients, I cannot auto-generate a combined report grouped by client account across multiple projects. For our recent 3-client virtual event campaign series, I had to manually export three separate CSV files from Worksection, clean the data, and merge them in Google Sheets for 2 hours to create a single client-ready performance snapshot. There is no way to save custom report templates, so I repeat this tedious manual export process every two weeks for client updates.

The mobile app is another major limitation that disrupts our workflow. Our team and freelance vendors often check task updates and add feedback while on location for virtual event setups or during client site meetings. The mobile interface does not fully support the custom task fields we rely on to tag campaign stage and approval status. When our freelance video producer tries to update a task status from their phone, they cannot fill in our custom vendor tracking fields, forcing them to wait until they return to a desktop computer to log updates. Push notifications also arrive inconsistently; we have missed client approval requests on multiple occasions because alerts failed to trigger on mobile, nearly delaying the launch of a B2B gated content campaign last quarter.

Worksection’s native integration library is surprisingly narrow for a marketing agency tool, which creates unnecessary data silos. We run our client lead forms and webinar registrations on HubSpot, yet there is no direct native connection between HubSpot and Worksection. We rely on Zapier for basic syncing, but the triggers are limited and frequently time out when moving larger batches of campaign data. When we onboard a new B2B client and create 20+ linked campaign tasks in Worksection, our Zapier automation often fails to pull over the matching client contact data automatically, requiring manual data entry for each task. Since we have no dedicated IT staff, troubleshooting these broken Zapier connections eats up hours of my operational time each month.

A smaller but frustrating drawback is the lack of bulk task editing for complex campaign workflows. If a client pushes back a webinar launch date by two weeks, I need to shift more than a dozen linked tasks. Worksection does not support bulk deadline adjustments for selected tasks, so I have to open and edit each task individually. This took me nearly 40 minutes for one rescheduled virtual event project, time I could have spent refining client strategy instead of repetitive administrative clicks. While Worksection’s core task and timeline tools work well on desktop, these limitations force our small team to build many manual workarounds that chip away at the time savings we hoped to gain from the platform.

**What problems is Worksection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

What problems is Worksection solving and how is that benefiting you? Before adopting Worksection at Carolina Digital Collective, our biggest pain point was fragmented project visibility across our B2B lead generation campaigns and virtual event productions. As Marketing Operations & Client Strategy Manager, I previously juggled separate spreadsheets, scattered email threads, and shared cloud folders to track tasks for internal staff and freelance vendors. Critical deadlines and client feedback often got buried, and I spent hours each week chasing team members for status updates. Worksection’s Gantt timeline and custom task tagging solved this by consolidating every campaign task into a single, shared workspace. Its drag-and-drop timeline builder lets me map out multi-phase projects and instantly adjust dependencies when a client pushes back approval. For our recent 8-week virtual event campaign for a SaaS B2B client, I mapped out copywriting, landing page design, video production, and stakeholder sign-off tasks all on one timeline; this cut my weekly status check-in time by nearly 5 hours, and we avoided two potential missed deadlines that would have delayed the live webinar launch.

Another major issue we faced was disjointed feedback and scattered creative assets. Client comments, draft files, and revision notes were spread across Google Docs, email attachments, and separate chat messages, making it easy for our creative team to miss revision requests. Worksection’s task-based comment thread and file attachment feature fixes this by tying all feedback, drafts, and assets directly to the relevant task card. When our freelance videographer uploads a teaser video for a gated content campaign, they can attach the file and leave questions right on the task, and client reviewers can add their feedback to that same thread. All project history stays preserved in one place, so our team no longer wastes time digging through old email chains to confirm revision scope. This has reduced miscommunication errors on creative deliverables by almost half, which protects our client relationships.

We also struggled with secure vendor access management. Our lean team has no dedicated IT staff, so granting freelancers access to shared drives carried risk of exposing sensitive client strategy documents. Worksection’s granular role-based permissions solve this perfectly. I can create guest accounts for contract creators and restrict their view only to the specific tasks assigned to them, hiding unrelated client projects and confidential planning materials. Last quarter, we onboarded three new freelance designers for a batch of B2B content campaigns, and setting up their limited access took only minutes, without requiring IT support.

An unexpected benefit we found is Worksection’s built-in time tracking function tied directly to individual tasks. Before, freelancers submitted separate time logs in spreadsheets, requiring manual cross-checking against project tasks to validate billing hours. Now vendors log their hours directly on their assigned tasks, and I can quickly review logged time against the project budget. This streamlined our client billing prep and eliminated time-consuming manual reconciliation.

Overall, Worksection solves our core challenges of disconnected workflows, poor visibility into campaign bottlenecks, scattered creative feedback, and messy vendor access control. It consolidates our B2B marketing and virtual event operations into a single platform, reducing administrative overhead for our small agency team and helping us consistently deliver high-quality work on tight client timelines.

  ### 2. Intuitive Task Management with Time Tracking and Client-Ready Reporting in Worksection

**What do you like best about Worksection?**

What I appreciate most about Worksection is its balanced combination of intuitive task management, built-in time tracking, and customizable client reporting, which fits perfectly for our fast-paced team at Midwest Digital Collective. As our Digital-Content & Audience-Campaign Operations Manager, I juggle multiple sponsored content projects, freelance creator coordination, and tight campaign deadlines every single day. Before adopting Worksection, our team relied on a messy mix of shared spreadsheets, email threads, and separate messaging apps to track content deliverables. Important feedback from advertisers would get buried in long email chains, and it was hard to quickly check whether freelance creators had submitted podcast scripts or edited video assets on schedule.

Worksection’s project dashboard solves this by putting every campaign milestone, assigned task, and file attachment in one centralized workspace. What stands out is how flexible its task structure is. For example, when we build a branded podcast series for a new advertiser, I create a dedicated project folder inside Worksection, then break the work into sequential stages: creative brief approval, script drafting, guest scheduling, recording, video editing, final review, and asset delivery. I assign each task to our internal content team or contracted freelance creators, set clear deadlines, and enable automated deadline reminders. Every stakeholder can add comments directly on the relevant task, so feedback stays attached to the work instead of scattered across emails. This eliminates the confusion that used to happen when a sales team member sent advertiser revisions to the wrong creator.

The native time tracking feature is another huge benefit for our agency. Our team bills many advertiser projects based on hours spent on content production. Team members can log time against individual tasks within Worksection with one click, without needing to open a separate third-party timer tool. At the end of each month, I pull time logs to validate project costs and share transparent breakdowns with our advertising clients. This has drastically cut down the time I previously spent reconciling manual timesheet entries from spreadsheets. We no longer need to chase our creators for handwritten hour logs, which reduces billing disputes and keeps our project profitability visible.

Custom access permissions are also extremely valuable for our lean agency. We do not want freelance creators to view sensitive data from other advertiser campaigns. Worksection lets me limit user access: internal staff get full visibility of all active projects, while outside freelancers only see the specific tasks and files assigned to them for their current content work. When we brought on a freelance video editor for our summer sponsored content campaign, I granted them access only to that single project, so they could upload finished video cuts and respond to review notes without seeing confidential client information from our other brand partners.

Equally impressive is the reporting builder. I can quickly generate custom project status reports for our sales team and advertiser clients. These reports show task completion rates, upcoming deadlines, and total hours spent on the campaign. Rather than manually compiling screenshots and spreadsheet data to update clients, I share a simplified Worksection report link. This makes our client check-ins much faster and keeps our advertiser partners informed about content progress.

One major advantage for our team is that Worksection does not require complex setup or IT expertise. Since we are a lean 11–50 person agency with no dedicated in-house IT staff, we cannot afford tools that demand extensive technical configuration or ongoing maintenance. Our content team and freelance creators picked up the platform within a couple of short training sessions. The clean user interface means new contractors rarely need extra support to upload deliverables or leave feedback.

While we use several different SaaS tools for media asset storage and audience campaign management, Worksection remains our core operational hub. It keeps all our sponsored content projects organized, improves communication between sales, internal content crews and freelance vendors, and keeps us on track to meet tight turnaround deadlines for our digital campaigns. For small digital agencies managing multi-client creative work with freelancers, the combination of task management, time tracking, permission controls and client-ready reporting makes Worksection an indispensable tool for day-to-day operations.

**What do you dislike about Worksection?**

While Worksection serves as our core project tracking tool at Midwest Digital Collective for sponsored content and audience campaign workflows, it has several notable limitations that create consistent operational friction for our lean digital media agency. As a Digital-Content & Audience-Campaign Operations Manager, I oversee fast-turnaround podcast, video, and branded content campaigns, coordinate freelance creators, and align sales and content teams daily. Many of Worksection’s gaps force our small team to add redundant manual workarounds, which slow down our tight campaign timelines since we have no dedicated in-house IT staff to automate or fix platform limitations.
The most impactful shortcoming is its **lack of dedicated team communication tools**, restricting all collaboration solely to task comment threads. Unlike competing project management platforms with built-in chat or team messaging, Worksection offers no centralized instant communication feature. This creates major disconnects for our cross-functional workflows. For example, during our quarterly branded podcast campaign for local retail advertisers, our sales team needed to relay last-minute sponsor copy tweaks to freelance script writers and video editors. We were forced to toggle between external messaging apps and Worksection task comments, splitting critical campaign feedback across two platforms. Key revision notes often got lost or delayed, leading to missed minor edit deadlines and extra hours of follow-up reconciliation on my end.
Secondly, Worksection’s **mobile app functionality is severely underdeveloped compared to its desktop version**, which hinders our on-the-go campaign management. Our team often reviews content drafts, approves creator submissions, and checks project status while working remotely or coordinating live content shoots. The mobile app lacks full reporting access, refined task filtering, and quick file preview features. When I was overseeing a summer live-streamed brand campaign, I could not pull real-time task completion metrics or review final video assets via mobile, forcing me to wait for desktop access to approve deliverables and keep the campaign on schedule. This creates unnecessary workflow delays for our fast-paced content cycles.
Additionally, its **custom reporting and data analytics capabilities are overly limited for client-facing agency work**. The native reports only display basic task progress and time-tracking data, with no option to build layered reports that combine campaign timelines, creator output volume, and client deliverable milestones. When our advertiser partners request comprehensive post-campaign performance recaps, I cannot generate ready-made branded reports in Worksection. I have to manually export raw data, reorganize it in spreadsheets, and compile custom visuals—a process that takes 2–3 hours per client campaign. This adds repetitive administrative work our lean team cannot afford during peak campaign seasons.
Worksection also suffers from **weak automation and third-party integration flexibility**. It lacks native syncs with mainstream media asset management and content scheduling tools we rely on daily. After freelance creators submit finished podcast episodes or edited videos, we must manually download files from Worksection and re-upload them to our cloud asset system. There is no automated trigger for task completion alerts or cross-tool data syncs. During our monthly batch of short-form social content campaigns, this manual file transfer and status updating slows our entire content publishing pipeline.
Finally, the platform’s base plan constraints and rigid permission customization create scaling issues. When we onboard multiple freelance creators for large-scale advertiser campaigns, we face limits on active project tracking and granular access controls. We cannot tailor partial view permissions for vendor teams, leaving us with either overexposing sensitive client data or creating redundant project copies. For a small agency running multiple concurrent client campaigns, these inflexibilities create consistent, avoidable operational bottlenecks that impact our overall workflow efficiency.

**What problems is Worksection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At Midwest Digital Collective, our lean digital media agency previously struggled with disjointed content workflows, scattered campaign tracking, and unstructured freelance vendor coordination before we adopted Worksection. As the Digital-Content & Audience-Campaign Operations Manager, I oversee dozens of concurrent sponsored content, podcast, and branded video campaigns, align internal content teams, sales staff, and external freelance creators. Without dedicated in-house IT support, we relied on disjointed emails, loose spreadsheets, and scattered file folders, which caused missed deadlines, miscommunicated client revisions, and unaccounted project hours—all pain points that Worksection has effectively resolved for our daily operations.
First, Worksection eliminates our fragmented project tracking problem. Previously, every sponsored campaign’s creative briefs, edit feedback, submission deadlines, and client revision requests were spread across email threads and shared drives. It was incredibly time-consuming to trace task progress or confirm whether freelance creators had delivered assets on time. Worksection centralizes all campaign work in dedicated project workspaces. For our monthly branded podcast advertiser series, I build staged task pipelines for scripting, recording, editing, and final client approval. Every deliverable, comment, and revision lives directly under its corresponding task, letting me instantly audit progress and eliminate workflow blind spots. This structure keeps our fast-turnaround content campaigns organized and consistent.
Second, it solves our unregulated freelance vendor management issue. We regularly onboard multiple freelance scriptwriters, video editors, and podcast producers for client campaigns, and previously struggled to control data access and assign targeted work. Worksection’s customizable user permissions let me restrict external creators to only their assigned project tasks and assets. During our summer retail brand campaign, I granted freelance editors limited project access, letting them submit work and respond to feedback while protecting confidential advertiser data from other ongoing campaigns. This solves security risks and prevents vendor workflow confusion, streamlining external team coordination.
Third, Worksection fixes our inaccurate manual time-tracking and client billing problems. We used to rely on self-reported spreadsheet hour logs from team members and freelancers, which led to inconsistent entries, under-billing, and lengthy reconciliation work. The platform’s native time tracking lets staff log hours directly on campaign tasks. I pull accurate, itemized time reports to share transparent billing breakdowns with advertisers, eliminating billing disputes and improving project profitability tracking. This saves me hours of manual spreadsheet compilation every month.
Most importantly, it resolves our cross-team communication disconnect between sales and content departments. Sales teams previously relayed last-minute client feedback via separate messages, often causing missed revisions. Now all client requests, campaign adjustments, and approval notes are logged on Worksection tasks, visible to every stakeholder. This aligns our entire team, reduces revision errors, and helps us consistently meet tight campaign deadlines.
Overall, Worksection replaces our chaotic, manual workflow system with a structured, scalable project management solution tailored for our lean agency. It cuts administrative overhead, standardizes content campaign processes, secures vendor collaboration, and ensures transparent client project tracking, directly boosting our team’s efficiency and campaign delivery quality.

**What do you like best about Worksection?**

First of all, I want to note that this is a UKRAINIAN product, unparalleled in Functionality, Convenience, Thoughtfulness, Simplicity, and importantly, price in Ukraine. Constant support, even directly from the owner or CEO. It's cool and customer-oriented. Easy setting of new tasks, more precise tracking of execution, setting time deadlines, the Task and Subtask function is very convenient. Easy search for tasks by people, days, Kanban. Most importantly, all tasks are in one place and with the necessary team for each of them. This is not Viber or TG, where everything perishes like in a swamp! I see who is doing what, how much time is spent, and the presence of everyone in the task.

**What do you dislike about Worksection?**

I can't name anything like that, I don't know whether fortunately or unfortunately.

**What problems is Worksection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

All tasks and the team are gathered in one place. Tasks are not lost, files of different sizes can be added, and you can return to tasks if they are closed. And one more important yet simple function is the repeatability of tasks.

**What do you like best about Worksection?**

Ukrainian Origin: First off, Worksection is built in Ukraine, and we’re super proud of our fellow Ukrainians for creating such an awesome online project and task management system.

Flexible Team Management: I love that we can simultaneously coordinate both our internal team and external contractors across different projects.

Speed & Support: The platform itself runs lighting-fast, and the support team responds amazingly quick to any requests.

Great Mobile Accessibility: Having a convenient mobile app and a Telegram bot is a game-changer. They really save the day when you need to quickly complete a task on your phone without a laptop nearby.

Feature-Rich: Plus, it’s packed with tons of other handy features like time tracking, time cost logging, tags, task priorities, and much more.

**What do you dislike about Worksection?**

We had a minor hiccup with the Zapier integration once, but the Worksection support team was super responsive and actively helped us troubleshoot it. In fact, by the time I’m writing this review, the issue has already been completely resolved!

**What problems is Worksection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Worksection helps us keep all our projects and tasks under control. It allows us to assign clear owners to every task and subtask, ensure no deadlines are missed, and keep all task-related comments and files organized in one central place so nothing slips through the cracks.

The ultimate result? A significant boost in our team's overall productivity and efficiency.

**What do you like best about Worksection?**

What I like best is that Worksection became a single hub for all three of our business lines instead of juggling separate tools. Its flexible project structure works equally well for ongoing SMM work and one-off events. Onboarding the team (28 people) was smooth, and the API opens up room for further integrations.

**What do you dislike about Worksection?**

Nothing i guess or its hard to say. Mostly everything is great

**What problems is Worksection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's solving the problem of scattered project tracking across three different businesses with very different workflows — client SMM retainers, live event production, and internal initiatives all in one place instead of separate spreadsheets and chat threads. This gives leadership real-time visibility without chasing status updates, and it's cut down significantly on internal miscommunication. The benefit shows up most clearly during high-intensity event periods, where task ownership and deadlines need to be crystal clear across the team.

**What do you like best about Worksection?**

When we at the agency started using Worksection, we gained more opportunities for efficient project management. Because the entire team can see each other's tasks, everyone clearly understands their area of responsibility and workload. For me, as a group lead, it is also convenient to track the workload of each team member and adjust it accordingly. Everyone can customize how tasks are displayed to suit their preferences; personally, I use the Kanban board, where it's easy to set up tags and sort tasks into the necessary sections—'To Do', 'In Progress', 'In Review', and so on. It's convenient to track where deadlines are missed (thanks to the ability to set due dates for each task). A plus is the availability of a time tracker, though we aren't using it at the moment. I would also like to note the convenient notification format—some arrive in my email, while I see others right on the platform.

**What do you dislike about Worksection?**

I would like a slightly broader range of features for financial project management.

**What problems is Worksection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Worksection helps us stay organized and keeps everyone on the same page. At the beginning of every week, our team plans out tasks and immediately logs them into Worksection, so nothing falls through the cracks. For me as a lead, it streamlines management, helps track deadlines, and keeps my team running smoothly.

**What do you like best about Worksection?**

I think this is one of the easiest SaaS solutions I’ve ever used. Everything is clear and intuitive. There hasn’t been a single day when Worksection was unavailable or experienced any issues.<br><br>In our case, we needed to customize what was included in our plan. That’s usually not possible with SaaS solutions, but the Worksection manager was always willing to accommodate us and handled it very quickly.<br><br>Support was also very responsive and provided complete, helpful answers. That’s extremely valuable and saves us time.

**What do you dislike about Worksection?**

I wouldn’t say this was a major issue or that it got in the way of our work, but some features weren’t quite suited to the way we worked. For example, as an admin, I had to add a new person to a project in order to invite them to the platform. But a new person didn’t always have a project yet, so I would add them to my personal project, which didn’t really make sense.<br><br>The platform’s design is also very basic visually, which doesn’t look particularly appealing.

**What problems is Worksection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used Worksection exclusively for project management. Unfortunately, it didn’t meet our needs as a full CRM, so we used a separate CRM to manage our clients.

**What do you like best about Worksection?**

What I like best about Worksection is how simple and intuitive it is: the whole team got comfortable with it almost immediately, with no long onboarding. It keeps projects, tasks, deadlines, and time tracking in one clear place, so it's easy to see who is working on what. The reports are also really useful for tracking progress and workload without any extra effort.

**What do you dislike about Worksection?**

What I dislike most is the recently updated interface, which feels less intuitive than the previous version. Some familiar features are now harder to find, so it took us extra time to get used to the new layout. It isn't a dealbreaker, but the navigation could be clearer.

**What problems is Worksection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Worksection helps us manage many projects and tasks at once in one place, so we no longer spread information across chats, emails, and spreadsheets. We can see clearly who is responsible for what and when it's due, which means fewer missed deadlines and less time spent on status updates. The built-in time tracking and reports also show us the real workload and project costs, which helps us plan resources and budgets more accurately.

**What do you like best about Worksection?**

Great project management tool!
Worksection has significantly improved how our team organizes work. The interface is clean and intuitive, task management is straightforward, and the Gantt chart and time-tracking features are especially useful. Collaboration is smooth — comments, file sharing, and notifications work reliably. It’s a solid, no-nonsense system that helps us stay on track without unnecessary complexity. Highly recommended for teams that need clear structure and good visibility across projects.

**What do you dislike about Worksection?**

It's all good—everything is working perfectly.

**What problems is Worksection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Worksection helps us solve several key problems: lack of clear task ownership, poor visibility of project progress, and difficulties with time tracking and deadlines.
Before using it, tasks often got lost in chats or emails, and it was hard to see the overall status of projects. Now everything is structured in one place — we can assign clear responsibilities, track progress in real time, and use the Gantt chart to plan and adjust timelines easily. Time tracking also helps us understand where the team’s effort is going.
As a result, our projects run more smoothly, communication is more transparent, and we spend less time on coordination and more on actual work.

**What do you like best about Worksection?**

I have been using Worksection for over seven years, and it has become an essential part of our daily routine. What stands out most is the straightforward logic, structure, and ease of use.<br><br>When working with a team of over 50 people, it is crucial to have a tool that keeps everything under control. The platform offers great flexibility with different task and subtask views, allowing us to seamlessly manage projects and track time effortlessly. It helps visualize processes and dependencies wonderfully, giving a clear understanding of what needs to be closed and in what order. Furthermore, features like hourly team workload tracking provide complete transparency and resource control for such a large team. It keeps our workflow organized, streamlined, and running smoothly.

**What do you dislike about Worksection?**

Nothing to dislike so far. We are completely satisfied with the platform.

**What problems is Worksection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Worksection solves the problem of chaos, lack of structure, and managing tasks across a large team of over 50 people. It gives us total visibility over workflows, lets us clearly see dependencies and what needs to be closed next, and provides accurate hourly workload tracking. This keeps our projects organized and running smoothly.

**What do you like best about Worksection?**

Simplicity and interface. No unnecessary visual clutter. Everything is logical and easy to grasp, even for employees who haven't used task managers before.

Time and budget control. The built-in timer (time tracking) and convenient reports are excellent for monitoring efficiency and calculating project costs.

Flexible task views. The ability to switch between lists, Kanban boards, and Gantt charts makes planning highly visual and clear.

Transparent communication. Notifications and the ability to leave comments and attach files directly within tasks have significantly reduced chaotic back-and-forth messaging.

**What do you dislike about Worksection?**

Outdated interface design. Compared to more modern, sleek platforms like Notion, Asana, or ClickUp, Worksection’s visual style feels somewhat conservative and "dry."

Mobile app. While a mobile version exists, it lags significantly behind the desktop version in terms of usability and speed—especially when you need to quickly view a Gantt chart or a large list of tasks.

Customization flexibility. Options for tailoring fields, creating unique task statuses, or building complex process automation are significantly more limited here compared to competitors.

**What problems is Worksection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time and budget control. A built-in timer (time tracking) and convenient reports are excellent for monitoring efficiency and calculating project costs.

**What do you like best about Worksection?**

Worksection is easy to use and has a clear, intuitive interface. It is convenient for managing projects, assigning tasks, tracking deadlines and monitoring team workload. I especially like the time tracking and reporting features, which make it easier to understand how much time is spent on different projects and tasks. It is also helpful to have projects, tasks, discussions and files organized in one place.

**What do you dislike about Worksection?**

Some reporting and analytics features could be more flexible. It would be useful to have more advanced options for customizing reports, exporting data and analyzing working hours by project, employee and period. There are also some limitations in terms of integrations and automation compared with more advanced project management systems.

**What problems is Worksection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Worksection helps us organize project management and team collaboration in one system. It solves the problem of keeping track of tasks, deadlines, responsibilities and time spent across different projects. It also gives us better visibility into team workload and project progress. **What do you like best about Worksection?**

We’ve been using Worksection for ten years in our Ukrainian IT and marketing company of roughly 50–100 people. What I like most is the clarity and friendly interface - it makes the system straightforward to work with every day. Training new employees is simple, and the latest version feels even more convenient and cleaner than before. We manage all our client projects and deadlines in one place without constantly worrying that something important might get lost. Support has stayed reliable over the years, which helps a lot when the team is handling many projects at once.

**What do you dislike about Worksection?**

A few more advanced filters for larger teams would be a nice addition

**What problems is Worksection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It keeps our client projects and deadlines organized so nothing important slips through. That gives the whole team a clearer picture of priorities and reduces the time spent chasing updates

I really like how convenient Worksection is for organizing our work processes. It helps us keep everything structured, manage deadlines, and easily track the progress of our tasks. I also find the reporting and report export features very useful, as everything is clear and easy to access in one place. Overall, Worksection makes day-to-day project management much more organized and efficient.

**What do you dislike about Worksection?**

I first used Worksection at my previous company several years ago and had a very positive experience with it. When I joined my current company, I recommended Worksection to my team and I honestly don’t have anything I dislike about Worksection.

**What problems is Worksection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Worksection makes it much easier to organize our daily work and keep all processes structured in one place. It helps us manage tasks and deadlines, clearly see what needs to be done and when, and keep track of ongoing work. **What do you like best about Worksection?**

like that Worksection lets you view tasks in different formats, from Kanban boards to lists, customize workflow stages and statuses, and automatically assign the person responsible for the next stage. This makes it possible to tailor each project to its specific needs.

It is also convenient to review team members’ workloads and tasks individually. The system regularly sends reminders about overdue tasks.

I would also like to highlight the excellent customer support team, who are always responsive and helpful in answering questions and resolving any issues.

**What do you dislike about Worksection?**

I have no major concerns. The only feature I personally miss is the ability to create task templates with subtasks, which would make adding new tasks faster and more efficient.

**What problems is Worksection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Worksection helps keep the team aligned and ensures that no tasks fall through the cracks, even when we need to stay on top of dozens of projects at different stages. It truly fulfills its core mission of bringing order to everyday work chaos :)

**What do you like best about Worksection?**

What I like best about Worksection is its balance between simplicity and powerful functionality. The interface is clean and intuitive, which makes onboarding team members effortless. At the same time, tools like Gantt charts, built-in time tracking, and task dependencies give us full control over project timelines and resources without overwhelming the user.

**What do you dislike about Worksection?**

What I find slightly limiting is the depth of native rule-based automations. Platforms with built-in workflow builders allow you to automate multi-step triggers easily, whereas in Worksection, many recurring administrative tasks or status-based updates still need to be handled manually.

**What problems is Worksection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Worksection solves three major operational issues: fragmented communication, untracked time/costs, and unclear project timelines. For me, it streamlines daily work by keeping all tasks, files, and discussion threads in one place, allowing me to track my time accurately and keep priorities straight without extra administrative overhead.

**What do you like best about Worksection?**

We're a Ukrainian SEO agency of about 20 people, focused on full-scale search promotion and internet marketing, and we've been using Worksection for 3 years now. The simple, logical structure is what won us over from the start — it's easy to train new specialists on, even when they're juggling several client accounts at once. The newer version feels noticeably more convenient and streamlined than earlier ones. With Worksection, we manage client projects and deadlines without the constant worry of something slipping through the cracks, which matters a lot when you're running dozens of SEO campaigns in parallel. Support has also been solid whenever we've needed help.

**What do you dislike about Worksection?**

A few more filtering options for large client lists would be nice.

**What problems is Worksection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Worksection keeps every client project and deadline visible in one place, which helps our team stay accountable across multiple ongoing SEO campaigns.

**What do you like best about Worksection?**

I really like Worksection. The program has completely changed how I plan my work. I've discovered many advantages and cool features that help me not lose anything, even the smallest tasks.<br><br>Previously, I worked in Google Sheets, but now Worksection probably saves me at least an hour of work time. Instead of keeping spreadsheets, constantly checking things, and worrying that I might have missed something, I just enter everything into the system and know that nothing will be lost.

**What do you dislike about Worksection?**

What would I like to improve? First of all, the recurring tasks feature. It would be more convenient if, after closing a task on Friday, the next one was automatically created not on Saturday, but, for example, on Monday. I would also like to have the ability to create tasks without sound notifications.

**What problems is Worksection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem for me is planning work for the whole week or month. In Worksection, I can see how many hours I plan to spend on tasks, how many I actually spent, and accordingly better understand my workload.<br><br>I also like that I can see my colleagues' workload. Thanks to this, I can understand whether I can delegate a task to them or, conversely, if they have a lot of work and it's better to help them with something.

  ### 19. The best task manager for a digital agency

**What do you like best about Worksection?**

We digital agency with multiple departments-SEO, PPC, SMM, and content marketing and Worksection brings them all together in one place without the usual overhead. The task structure (project-task-subtask) matches the agency's actual workflow, so a client's project remains understandable even with over 50 open items. The built-in time and cost tracking feature is our main advantage: we can see how many hours a specific specialist actually spent compared to what we billed, which directly impacts profitability decisions. Giving clients limited access to their own project instead of endless status emails has saved a lot of time. The Gantt chart and workload view help distribute tasks among managers before anyone becomes overwhelmed. New employee onboarding takes a day instead of a week the interface is simple enough that people actually use it, rather than resorting to instant messaging.

**What do you dislike about Worksection?**

We would like to see a little more built-in integrations with other services.

**What problems is Worksection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solved the mess of client work being spread across messengers, spreadsheets and personal to-do lists. Now every client project lives in one place with clear deadlines and owners, so nothing gets lost between departments. Time tracking on tasks shows how many hours each specialist actually consumes, which lets us see real profitability per project instead of guessing that alone changed how we price several retainers. Workload and Gantt views help us spot overloaded specialists before deadlines slip.

**What do you like best about Worksection?**

We run a small agency of under 10 people and bill our clients by the hour, so clear time tracking is critical for us. Worksection makes it super easy to track time on tasks and keep invoicing transparent.<br><br>Another feature we really like is guest access. Clients can join as guests to leave comments right inside tasks, while our internal notes stay private. It keeps everything clean and saves us from endless back-and-forth emails.

**What do you dislike about Worksection?**

To be honest, the tool covers all our daily agency needs. My only wishlist item would be more built-in AI features, especially voice dictation for setting up tasks or dropping quick comments when you're away from the laptop.

**What problems is Worksection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Worksection solved our main headache with accurate billable hour tracking and messy email threads. Now we invoice clients with zero friction and collaborate in one shared space without leaking internal chats.

What I particularly appreciate is how easy it is to see responsibilities and deadlines without having to constantly ask teammates for updates. The interface is straightforward, so it didn’t take much time for me or the team to get used to it.

**What do you dislike about Worksection?**

Some advanced customization options and integrations could be more flexible. At times, the interface can feel a bit overloaded when working with large projects.

**What problems is Worksection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I’ve been using Worksection as part of our day-to-day project management, and it has become a useful tool for keeping our work organized. I regularly use it to create and assign tasks, set deadlines, follow project progress, and keep track of what needs to be done next. **Reviewed Date:** September 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Worksection?**

The interface is very comfortable - UI/UX on a highest level. To make a service as flexible as possible ("so anything can be configured"), it is essential to build the architecture around modularity, extensibility, and declarativeness. Essentially, you are creating not just a rigid product, but a platform or a builder.

**What do you dislike about Worksection?**

Overall, I have no complaints. Everything works quickly, correctly, and as expected. In 3 years of use, we’ve reached out to support only twice, and even then, for minor issues.

**What problems is Worksection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In Worksection, we manage all internal customer-facing processes—task management, budgeting, tracking time and deadlines. We even developed a mini-CRM in test mode. Now all project-related information, work updates, and comments are located in one place and structured by task, which saves a lot of search time.

  ### 23. The support is excellent; for instance, they issued an invoice for the date that was convenient

**What do you like best about Worksection?**

What I like most about Worksection is how simple and clear it makes project management. It’s easy to organize tasks, track deadlines, communicate with the team, and see the overall progress of a project in one place. The interface is intuitive, and it helps save a lot of time in daily work.

**What do you dislike about Worksection?**

One thing that could be improved is the interface in some sections. A few features are not immediately obvious and may take some time to get used to. More customization options and slightly simpler navigation would make the platform even better.

**What problems is Worksection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Worksection helps us keep tasks, deadlines, and project communication organized in one place. It reduces the risk of missing important tasks, makes it easier to track progress, and helps the team understand priorities and responsibilities. As a result, we save time and manage projects more efficiently.

**What do you like best about Worksection?**

We've been using this system for our sound production work in film and TV, and it has genuinely exceeded our expectations. What we appreciate most is how intuitive the platform is — from day one, our team was able to navigate it without a steep learning curve, which is rare for tools this powerful.

The workflow feels natural, letting us focus on the creative side of sound design instead of fighting with the interface.

On top of that, the reliability and performance have been consistently solid throughout our time of work.

I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a seamless, user-friendly, and powerful task manager, no matter what industry you are in.

**What do you dislike about Worksection?**

I would appreciate I would like to see better batch/bulk actions, such as batch renaming for tasks or files.

**What problems is Worksection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

**What do you like best about Worksection?**

Worksection helps us efficiently assign and track tasks across different areas of our business, departments, and team members. So far, we haven’t found a better solution for our needs.

**What do you dislike about Worksection?**

At the moment, we don’t see any critical issues that interfere with our work. Whenever minor questions or issues do come up, the Worksection support team is responsive and helps us resolve them quickly.

**What problems is Worksection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have several departments and areas of work within the company, including Marketing, Customer Success, Customer Technical Success, Legal, Finance, and others. Worksection allows each department to manage its own projects and tasks while also making it easy for team members to collaborate across departments when needed.

For me, both as a user and a manager, it’s convenient to have everything in one place: I can monitor projects and their progress, manage tasks, and create tasks myself when needed.

We also use Worksection’s analytics and integration capabilities, which help us better understand our workflows and connect Worksection with other tools we use.

**What do you like best about Worksection?**

What I truly appreciate about Worksection, especially in their G2 update, is the flexibility in customizing project lifecycles. The ability to create custom fields and statuses means we can model our actual workflow exactly as it is, rather than trying to fit our business into a rigid template. The automated triggers are a massive timesaver—being able to auto-assign a task to a different specialist (like moving from design/engineering to tech specs and pricing) the moment a status changes keeps everything moving flawlessly. Plus, the price-to-feature ratio is hard to beat compared to bloated alternatives.

**What do you dislike about Worksection?**

While the G2 version brought amazing improvements, the setup for complex automated workflows and conditional triggers can feel a bit steep at first. It takes some time and experimentation to iron out exactly how tasks should spawn and who gets assigned when a status shifts. I’d also love to see even more advanced conditional logic options for internal task dependencies in future updates. On top of that, adding built-in AI capabilities for reporting would be a game-changer—features like automated project summaries, quick analytical reports, or even basic AI-generated infographics directly from our data would add massive value.

**What problems is Worksection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Worksection to streamline our entire core pipeline, connecting engineering, calculation, logistics, and management. Before setting this up, our biggest bottleneck was the manual hand-off between departments—things got delayed when moving from technical drawings to pricing or shipping setup. Now, Worksection acts as a automated assembly line: once a team member finishes their stage and marks it as done, the system instantly creates the necessary sub-tasks and alerts the next people in line with clear deadlines. It completely eliminated human error in task assignments and gave us a crystal-clear overview of where each custom order currently stands

**What do you like best about Worksection?**

We have been using Worksection for 10 years in our engineering firm, and it is essential for our remote team. As a manager, I appreciate the intuitive logic, custom project statuses, and tags. They clarify project stages and eliminate unnecessary back-and-forth. The Kanban board is a must-have that lets us run quick five-minute meetings, while the mobile app saves time on the go. Automated reporting and expense tracking help team members stay accountable. Combined with reliable customer support and integration options like 1C, it ensures no detail or task ever gets lost in our workflow.

**What do you dislike about Worksection?**

A few more built-in report templates for construction workflows would be nice.

**What problems is Worksection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Worksection keeps dozens of concurrent remote engineering projects structured, preventing lost tasks and miscommunication across our workforce. It cuts meeting times down to five minutes while maintaining total clarity on deadlines and project costs.

**What do you like best about Worksection?**

I really like the calendar. It’s very convenient for tracking assigned tasks and checking other users’ tasks. The system is also intuitive and easy to learn and use.

**What do you dislike about Worksection?**

It would be helpful to have an option to view the schedules of an entire department at once. Currently, you need to select each user separately to check their schedule, which can take extra time. Being able to select a department and see everyone’s schedule in one view would make planning much easier.

**What problems is Worksection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Worksection helps us organize and plan our workload in one place. We can plan tasks in advance, assign them to the right people, track workloads and deadlines, and keep all project information organized. This makes it easier to coordinate between teams and understand who is working on what.

  ### 30. Reliable, intuitive project management tool that keeps our team on track

**What do you like best about Worksection?**

I love the clean and intuitive interface, which made onboarding seamless for our team. The integrated time tracking, task dependencies, and clear visual deadlines make tracking project progress effortless, keeping everyone aligned and accountable.

**What do you dislike about Worksection?**

The platform is solid overall, but the mobile app could use a minor UI refresh to make managing complex tasks on the go smoother. Additionally, having a few more native third-party software integrations out-of-the-box would be a great touch.

**What problems is Worksection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Worksection solves the issue of scattered task management and messy email chains. By centralizing all project discussions, files, and assignments into clear task threads, it gives our team complete visibility over responsibilities and deadlines. This has saved us hours each week, prevented missed deadlines, and significantly improved team accountability.

  ### 31. Great for Remote Teams.

**Reviewed Date:** August 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Worksection?**

I like that Worksection gives me a clear overview of the team’s work. Projects can be structured into tasks and subtasks, with deadlines, priorities, and responsible team members assigned. Time tracking makes it easy to see how much time was spent on each task and compare planned versus actual effort.

The workload and time analytics are especially useful. I can review the team’s workload for a day, month, or year, both for individual employees and for each project separately.

**What do you dislike about Worksection?**

The mobile app still needs some improvement. Timer errors occur quite often. A more stable timer and better visibility of active employee timers would make the mobile app much more useful.

**What problems is Worksection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can clearly see how much time is spent on each task, spot delays or excessive rework, and make sure the project stays within budget.

**What do you like best about Worksection?**

What I value most is the complete process transparency across our entire agency team. From designers and copywriters to accounts and management, everyone sees the full picture and tracks task lifecycles in real time. It’s flexible, user-friendly, and provided an ideal foundation to customize workflows for our business.

**What do you dislike about Worksection?**

Nothing critical over my 6 years of use. If I had to point out something, the mobile application could be polished a bit further to match the deep functionality and seamless experience of the desktop browser version.

**What problems is Worksection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Worksection eliminates agency chaos by bringing complete structure to dozens of parallel projects, from local quick-turns to complex international campaigns. It unifies account managers, designers, and copywriters in one space, making task lifecycles fully visible. As an account manager, it gives me complete control over deadlines and project status without constant check-ins.

  ### 33. Best framework for agencies and cross-functional projects

**Reviewed Date:** August 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Worksection?**

The configuration of teamwork tools. We chose this framework for our work because it has some essential features for us:<br>1. Unlimited projects and different types of roles<br>2. A timer and work schedule planning tool<br>3. Task organization based on our individual workflow<br>4. Combining the workflow with holiday/sick leave tracking for the team

**What do you dislike about Worksection?**

I can’t say I “dislike” it, but we have some improvements of our own that we’ve suggested and are waiting for. These improvements are small, and it’s good that the WS team has provided the opportunity to make this tool more flexible for the business needs of each sector.

**What problems is Worksection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I would say that it is our main task manager, and it provides the workflow process for both our clients’ projects and internal ones.

**What do you like best about Worksection?**

I like Worksection because it gives a clear overview of tasks, deadlines, responsibilities, and project progress in one place. It is easy to use, helps teams stay accountable, and makes it simple to track execution across different departments.

**What do you dislike about Worksection?**

I would like more advanced analytics, reporting, and customization options. For complex operational management, it can be difficult to consolidate data across multiple projects and track strategic KPIs without using additional tools or manual work.

**What problems is Worksection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Worksection helps us organize tasks, assign clear responsibilities, track deadlines, and monitor project progress across teams. It reduces the risk of missed tasks, improves accountability, and gives managers better visibility into execution. This helps us coordinate work more efficiently and keep projects aligned with business priorities.

**What do you like best about Worksection?**

Clean UI UX, it`s quite easy to onboard a team that has never used task tracker systems.

24/7 support service is always here to answer any questions

API access that lets you automate routine tasks

**What do you dislike about Worksection?**

A minor thing I'm sure the team will add in the near future two-way sync with Google Calendar. Right now it's one-way only.

**What problems is Worksection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had a problem in our team - no shared space to sync departments, their requests, and tasks.

Worksection gave us one place to manage business processes together, communicate, keep artifacts and links in context, and make sure everyone is on the same page without hours lost in messenger threads

So the most valuable, it saves us time and keeps everyone working with the same context

  ### 36. Overall a good product despite some bugs

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Worksection?**

The best thing is its availability across multiple platforms

**What do you dislike about Worksection?**

The worst part is the bugs on Android: I can’t see task titles in the main dashboard, and the search is not perfect. When I find several tasks by a keyword and open one of them, trying to return to the list of search results doesn’t always work. There is also no option to assign multiple responsible people to a task — sometimes it needs 2–3 people, and sometimes even 4. The general “followers” feature is not sufficient.

**What problems is Worksection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It speeds up communication with the team and helps keep track of tasks and calculations.

  ### 37. A clear, flexible, and user-friendly tool for effective project management

**What do you like best about Worksection?**

I like that Worksection is intuitive, flexible, and easy to use. It helps organize tasks and projects clearly and makes team collaboration more efficient

**What do you dislike about Worksection?**

There are no major issues for me, but I would appreciate a clearer way to track related tasks in one place. It would be helpful to see not only the activity on my own tasks, but also the progress of other tasks that may affect their outcome. A more visual and connected task dependency view would make it easier to understand the full workflow

**What problems is Worksection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Worksection helps organize projects, tasks, deadlines, and team communication in one place. It makes it easier to track progress, coordinate responsibilities, and keep the workflow clear and structured

**What do you like best about Worksection?**

I like that Worksection provides a clear overview of projects and tasks, making it easy to track progress, assign responsibilities, and keep all project-related information in one place.

**What do you dislike about Worksection?**

The platform feels unfinished, with too many pop-up windows and a large number of individual settings. Not all settings are saved properly and some of them reset unexpectedly. Each project also needs to be configured from scratch.

**What problems is Worksection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Worksection helps us organize projects, track tasks and deadlines, and coordinate responsibilities within the team. This reduces the risk of missing important tasks and makes it easier to monitor project progress and keep everyone aligned.

**What do you like best about Worksection?**

The Kanban board is brilliantly executed—such a comfortable way to organize work. Combined with the dedicated active tasks tab, it really streamlines daily processes and makes project management so much easier.

**What do you dislike about Worksection?**

The only thing missing is a small desktop widget or tray icon to toggle the time tracker in one click, without having to constantly switch browser tabs to start or stop it.

**What problems is Worksection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Worksection completely solves the issue of daily task planning and helps eliminate chaos at work. The service gathers all tasks, deadlines, and discussions in one place, so you no longer need to search for agreements in chats. All of this significantly saves time on communication and alignment, making daily project management much more comfortable.

**What do you like best about Worksection?**

I really like having everything in one place. It makes it easy to plan my workload, keep track of deadlines, and see what needs to be done across different tasks and projects. I also find the overall structure helpful for staying organized and keeping an eye on progress without having to switch between multiple tools.

**What do you dislike about Worksection?**

I’d love to have a simpler way to see my activity over a specific period, for example, a quick monthly overview showing completed tasks, time spent, or overall workload. It would also be helpful to have project materials organized in a dedicated, easy-to-access space, so you don’t have to dig through tasks to find what you need. The platform has a lot of functionality, which is useful, but it can feel a bit overwhelming at first, especially for new users. A more intuitive way to navigate key features and information would make the onboarding experience much smoother.

**What problems is Worksection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Worksection helps me keep tasks, deadlines, project details, and communication organized in one place. It makes it much easier to see what I’m currently working on, what’s coming up next, and which tasks need attention first. This saves time on day-to-day planning and helps me stay on top of multiple projects without losing track of deadlines or important details.

**What do you like best about Worksection?**

I've been administering the Worksection account for over a year for a marketing team of 15 people. I like the simple and clear structure of the service, as well as the short and intuitive onboarding for new employees. The "project-task-subtask" structure works well for handling several workstreams at once and makes it easy to plan tasks, including planned time allocation. It's convenient that time spent can be logged manually or tracked with a timer. Reminders work reliably, and the Kanban board can be flexibly customized to fit the team's needs.

**What do you dislike about Worksection?**

It would be great if the calendar allowed marking not only vacation and sick leave, but also unpaid leave. It would also be interesting to have dashboards added to the reports.

**What problems is Worksection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tasks, deadlines, files, and comments are all gathered in one place for each project. This has simplified deadline control and made the division of responsibility among team members clear. The built-in reporting has improved our analytics around time planning.

**What do you like best about Worksection?**

I really like the ability to track tasks, create and delegate them in advance, structure a project and follow the planned workflow. It’s also very useful to be able to track the time spent on specific types of work and tasks and analyze this data. I also really like the Telegram bot.

**What do you dislike about Worksection?**

There is a lack of task nesting levels: currently, there are only 3 levels, but it would be great to have at least 4 (task → subtask → nested subtask → another nested level).

I also don't like the color scheme in the “Reports” section. The “By people” and “By days” filters use colors with very low contrast, which makes them difficult to see.

Another feature that is missing is the ability to pause a project or mark it as inactive or completed.

**What problems is Worksection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Worksection helps us organize and manage projects and tasks in a structured way

**What do you like best about Worksection?**

We have been working with the Worksection program for two years. The program's functionality helps us manage and systematize projects. With the help of planning, it has become possible to track project deadlines. Our team is located in different cities across the country; the comment functionality helps all team members track what stage each project is at. The ability to add photos and files also helps keep all information in a shared space, and every colleague can download it.

**What do you dislike about Worksection?**

We are completely satisfied with the program; we have no comments.

**What problems is Worksection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Improved organization of team workflow, timely completion of tasks and projects.

  ### 44. Excellent service. We organized our team’s workflows and structured the agency’s operations.

**What do you like best about Worksection?**

Excellent service. With Worksection, we were able to organize our team’s workflows and structure the agency’s operations. I’m also very satisfied with the level of customer support.

**What do you dislike about Worksection?**

Sometimes, we lack certain features, such as a convenient chat-based communication option within the platform.

**What problems is Worksection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were able to track the number of hours our team actually spends on client tasks and optimize our workflows accordingly. It turned out that we were spending significantly more time than we were billing our clients for, which meant we were operating at a loss in some areas. We now have much better control over this process. The team’s work has also become much more structured.

Third they add AI summaries and project-task breakdown - so its really useful

Well, mobile app - provide basic capabilities and could be better, but we working primary on computers so we can live with it

The balance between simplicity and functionality is perfect; features like the visual Gantt chart and built-in time tracking keep our projects organized without overwhelming us with unnecessary settings

**What do you dislike about Worksection?**

The mobile app functionality is a bit limited compared to the desktop version. It would be great to have full feature parity on mobile devices for working on the go

**What problems is Worksection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Worksection has completely transformed our project management workflow. Previously, we dealt with fragmented data across emails and spreadsheets, which often led to missed deadlines. Now, everything is centralized, giving us full visibility into project status at any moment. The platform has significantly enhanced our collaboration-assigning tasks, sharing files, and commenting right where the work happens keeps everyone aligned. It has drastically reduced administrative noise and increased our overall efficiency

**What do you like best about Worksection?**

The best thing about Worksection platform is it offers a very straightforward and clean project management experience without any unnecessary complexity specifically their combination of task management time tracking and reporting which has been included all in a single platform makes it very easier for us to manage or multiple projects charts and reports based provide as a clear timelines progress which is very helpful for teams like us when handling multiple projects simultaneously and also their interface is very intuitive so onboarding new team members made easier.

**What do you dislike about Worksection?**

Though this platform is very simple to use, sometimes it feels a bit of limited when we want to implement highly advanced customisations or even deeper integrations when compared with other enterprise tools out there. Even though their UAE is functional, it is not as modern as some newer platforms out there in this competitive space, and their automation capabilities are not as extensive when compared with other more advanced workflow platforms.

**What problems is Worksection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This platform helps us by centralising project planning task tracking and cross functional team collaboration all under a single workplace this also eliminates scattered communication across multiple emails channels and spreadsheets by doing that it helps us by improving accountability and ensures everyone as visibility into their deadlines and responsibilities.

**What do you like best about Worksection?**

For agencies, freelancers, and service teams that bill by the hour, Worksection features a built-in timer and cost tracker. You can log work hours directly inside individual tasks to generate precise billing reports without needing third-party plugins like Toggl

**What do you dislike about Worksection?**

The Worksection mobile app is significantly stripped down compared to its desktop counterpart. Users frequently note that it lacks critical project management features, making it hard to manage complex task flows, view deeper reports, or handle advanced configurations on the go. It functions more like a basic notification and comment tracker rather than a fully-fledged agile tool

**What problems is Worksection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Worksection solves the core problems of scattered team communication, missed project deadlines, and untracked billable hours by centralizing tasks, time tracking, and progress visualization into a single platform

**What do you like best about Worksection?**

I really like the clear structure of tasks, projects, and subtasks, which makes team collaboration easy. The built-in time tracking and flexible API/webhook capabilities for custom reporting are also top-notch.

**What do you dislike about Worksection?**

The reporting interface feels a bit rigid and outdated for complex analytics. We often have to export data via API to external tools like Looker Studio or Google Sheets to build proper dashboards.

**What problems is Worksection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Worksection helps us centralize project management, task tracking, and team communication in one place. It solves the issue of scattered task history and simplifies workload distribution. By using its API, we can easily extract performance metrics and build custom automated dashboards for deep project analysis.

  ### 50. All processes are good, but more personalized widgets would make it even better.

**What do you like best about Worksection?**

A very convenient work tool that helps reduce manual management and make processes more operational and automated.

**What do you dislike about Worksection?**

What is missing are more personalized apps and widgets tailored to specific needs of a particular organization. It would also be great to have more options for personalizing user profiles.gets

**What problems is Worksection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It would be great to have the option to assign multiple people to the same task.
