The interface is clean, intuitive, and everything is in sensible places. There’s also a solid Help Center if you get stuck, plus useful pre-built templates and compliance checks that save time. It just feels like they thought about the admin and the new hire experience. **What do you dislike about Workmates EX by HR Cloud?** The admin dashboard felt a bit overwhelming at first, and building workflows took a little time to get right. We rolled it out at Muska Lighting and setup was super easy. My team got into it right away, no long training needed. The interface is clean and simple, and the support team is great, they actually listen and help when needed. It connects well with our other tools, and for how many features it has, it still feels light and fast. It nails ease of use, quick setup, and solid customer support. **What do you dislike about Workmates EX by HR Cloud?** I’d love a little more freedom to customize the dashboard for different teams, and once in a while it takes a moment to load when everyone’s online. Custom rules, manager approvals, audit trails, everything’s built in. As someone managing a distributed team, I can finally relax knowing our records are compliant and accurate. The overall system is a little slower than we'd like. Not all employees have company emails, not all check their emails, but they are able to receive notifications through the app and it has been awesome. ### 27. I've been so impressed with the level of customer service and how quickly they respond and adapt to customer feedback. We have only been using HR Cloud for 5 months, and in that short time there have been at least 6 recommendations/requests that I've provided and within weeks, updates were made to their platform. I have never experienced anything similar where developers are so quick to make changes and improvements. **What do you dislike about Workmates EX by HR Cloud?** Anything that I disliked has already been updated to meet my needs and make my work more efficient. I have no complaints. **What problems is Workmates EX by HR Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** Employees love being able to give each other Kudos and it's been helpful in improving employee moral as we've all been working remotely. Even before we were working remotely some teams and managers seldom saw each other. HR Cloud is a great way to connect and share information. ### 28. When I press enter, it only places my text on the next line instead of leaving a space in between. **Recommendations to others considering Workmates EX by HR Cloud:** Great engagement tool! It just takes a second for people to get the hang of it, but the more you push it out and encourage its use, the more useful it will be to your organization! **What problems is Workmates EX by HR Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** Workmates helps us with polls around the office, reminding people of events, sharing pictures from company events, and sharing job posts! Integration with Slack helps keep everything in one space as well, and helps promote interaction even more. I like that there are feeds for specific channels as well as pages you can use for things like FAQs, notes, links to resources, etc. **What do you dislike about Workmates EX by HR Cloud?** There are certain settings that are to be desired to allow complete customization, but as workmates has aged in development, they have included more and more settings. I'm hopeful for the future of this product and hope eventually that there is even more API documentation to promote internal integrations. One thing that would be a great addition would be the ability to give anonymous feedback, while keeping the feedback private to other co-workers, to help promote feedback within the company. The only downside I could really be vocal about is the fact that often times it feels slow, sometimes it takes a while to load pages or actions. I'm unsure if it has to do with how it is hosted or how it operates on the back end. However, I'm hopeful that in the future this is something that they'll work on improving. **Recommendations to others considering Workmates EX by HR Cloud:** Workmates has helped for many reasons, but one of the best is not only the announcements, but also the kudos feature. This helps promote the growth of new hires since it appears that it takes a lot less time for them to feel like part of the team. **What problems is Workmates EX by HR Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** Having all our peers consistently praising each other has helped illuminate the responsibilities of key individuals, as well as broadcast to the company when someone goes above and beyond their regular day to day duties. For a smaller company like ourselves, I believe this helps immensely.
