The settings that you cannot customize are difficult to navigate/work around. Saving manager notes in check ins sometimes does not save properly as the "save" button is at the bottom of the page and I've missed if a few times as had fo redo it. There is a lot of flexibility to create custom made questions and reviews, you can make it as broad or "canned: as you need it to be. The recognition page is great too! Somehow amazing work that people do, going above and beyond normal duties still get rated lower than a 5 or 4 star so making more than a 3% merit increase nearly impossible. The tool itself is great and it is packed with so much information in the learning library that makes teaching new hires about the system very easy. The tech support and the entire team is very supportive, consultative, and extremely knowledgeable about performance management and overall employee engagement. Performance Culture has helped us begin to create a coaching culture and to drive the focus on performance and merit. It's helping make our staff more aware of goals for themselves and how that intersects with the goals of the organization so that they have a good understanding of the full impact of their work. Recommendations to others considering WorkDove: If you have a small team and you are trying to create a coaching culture Performance Culture has amazing resources in the learning library that you can assign and build on to drive the culture you want in your organization. We've been working with Performance Culture for several years and I have thoroughly appreciated all of the help and support we have received from our account managers. They are always so willing to help us customize the solution to best fit the needs of our organization and they are quick to make suggestions for how we can improve our overall employee experience. There are a lot of moving parts with the system from goal management, performance reviews, 360 degree feedback, check-ins, etc. I think the tool is really good for an organization that wants to build a performance management tool from scratch, but it gets a little bit redundant and convolved if you are currently managing any part of your talent management in another system. We are using Performance Culture to help align our company mission, vision, and core values. It has helped establish more frequent and open communication between our managers and employees. We are in the beginning stages of implementing Performance Culture at our company and have turned some functions of the system off temporarily to ease our users into the process. The opportunity to recognize employees for demonstrating our core values is a great benefit "cue the confetti." The recognition feature lets the employee know they are making a difference. Check-in Options can be sometimes complex when it comes to 1:1 feedback meetings, which are not performance meetings (no matrix needed) but at the same time neither on-going discussions. So far it has improved that tensions and performance key points and highlights are collected in one tool in a written form.
