It has easy integration with all payment gateways, which is very useful for implementation in various countries. Additionally, its configuration is very robust, allowing the addition of different subscription models to products. I use it for recurring purchases, as the product I sell lends itself to that. Woocommerce subscriptions fairly easy to get started with, especially if you are familiar with woocommerce, which can be a bit wonky at times. It has enough features for almost any new subscription model business Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WooCommerce Subscriptions?

As with woocommerce and most of the available plugins, the more plugins you have, the slower the page load speed and potential for plugins to not play nicely with each other. But, unless you know how to custom code, plugins are the only option. It's really not an issue with the subscription plugin per se, but the woocommerce platform itself. The plugin is somewhat limited in features for a business that requires alot of customizations, and it isn't intuitive on how it manages the subscriptions separately from the initial order. Not really related to this plugin directly but WooCommerce as a whole isn't the most beautiful shopping platform. I think there is room for improvement there. For the WooCommerce Subscriptions plugin it provides the basic needs for a subscription website without a lot of bells and whistles. But sometimes those bells and whistles are nice to have. Make sure you accurately calculate length of subscriptions and renewal dates. This is no fault of the plugin, but it's easy to have this set incorrectly, resulting in missed payments. End dates must take place a margin after the last payment would take place, I have not had positive results with this falling on the same day, as you can not control what charge is completed first. We use this for organization memberships for two types, one a multiple payment system, and another a yearly membership. Works great for both. Helps us with passive income and to effectively manage our customer base. Using it to manage tiered payments helps us better collect large payments from customers who are not able to pay all at once.
