Wix makes it incredibly easy to build a website without needing any coding knowledge. The drag-and-drop editor is smooth, intuitive, and offers a lot of flexibility. Sometimes the editor can feel a bit heavy or slow, especially on lower-end devices. Also, some advanced features are only available on paid plans, so scaling beyond a basic site might require an upgrade. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The drag-and-drop editor is intuitive, and the template selection gave me a strong starting point. For a small business owner, it’s helpful that everything from hosting to SSL to mobile responsiveness is included in one package. Unfortunately, Wix has serious problems with dynamic CMS pages and SEO indexing. For over a month, my business’s dynamic service pages have failed to index in Google, making me essentially invisible in search. Support confirmed this was a platform bug but could not provide a resolution timeline. I was first told it would be fixed by a certain date, which was missed, and later told there is no ETA at all. There is no compensation for lost business, no real escalation path, and contradictory information (e.g., being promised a supervisor call only to be told later that supervisors don’t take calls).
