**What do you like best about Wisetail?**

We love Wisetail. We have been using the system for over two years and find it to be easy to administer training videos to our entire staff, upload videos, daily use of badges and merits. The customer service/support has always been exceptional. Implementing and integrated the system was a breeze and we have had no problems since! We use Wisetail everyday!

**What do you dislike about Wisetail?**

Honestly, nothing. We have never had an issue with the site.

Training oversights, compliance, OSHA trainings.

**What do you like best about Wisetail?**

Overall, Wisetail is easy to use for an LMS. It's easy to upload training materials and documents. When issues do arise (because they will with any technology) Wisetail solves the problem quickly and is very responsive. We love working with Tyler as our account rep and have built a great working relationship with him. He's always available and lets us know if he's out of office and who we can contact.

**What do you dislike about Wisetail?**

Wisetail is constantly upgrading and releasing new updates. When they launched OnTrack (an additional cost add on), it seemed that more of their concentration went to that and product releases for their main site slowed down. 

We are a large franchise organization and it can be difficult navigating that with all the permissioning that needs to be done. The permissioning can be very cumbersome. 

I also wish that our regional directors could see all their locations training completions easier. We have had to build out reports in PowerBI to accommodate our needs.

**What problems is Wisetail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a business, we had an issue being able to quickly send out training to our Team Members and Wisetail has made that easy for us.

**What do you like best about Wisetail?**

Almost everything! The 1:1 support we recieve from our Accout Manager, Brittany, is top notch. The UI for end users is terrific. I'm glad they made significant upgrades to their word processor for creating learning modules and other content. The flexiblity to assign user groups across all of our franchises is super handy.

**What do you dislike about Wisetail?**

The reporting functionality is truly abysmal. I am not saying that to be dramatic. Especially for test reporting, the reporting that lives within the LMS is nearly unusable. Anytime I talk to anyone about Wisetail, I unfortunately have to say something along the lines of "it's fantastic, but if you're in the hunt for good reporting, look elsewhere."

Wisetail enables us to seemlessly provide learning and development content and resources across all of our franchise operators in the US and Canada. This has significantly increased our adoption of best practices and improved our bottom line.

**What do you like best about Wisetail?**

I appreciate the ease of use for most functions. Navigation, reporting, creation, and importing content is a breeze. I appreciate my Account Manager, Brittany, and the support team for their rapid response times and courtesy. It is a program that I am proud to share with my peers.

**What do you dislike about Wisetail?**

I wish there were a bit more design and other flexibility. There are a few things that have workarounds that aren't very clear or easy-to-use. Overall I am pleased.

**What problems is Wisetail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Company-wide communication and training for a geographically diverse team. It benefits me becasue my communication is clear and concise, easy to access, and engaging. I like it because it is user friendly from both the admin and user side of things.

We love that this is a digital platform that allows us to push company information to our locations quickly and ensure our teams have the most up-to-date information at their fingertips. PlayerLync goes above and beyond to ensure we always have exceptional service. They are engaging and always looking for ways to continue to provide top-notch service for all aspects of our business.

**What do you dislike about Wisetail?**

I do not have any feedback as PlayerLync is always willing to listen to any feedback we have and work on solutions with us like more categories and folders within folders.

**What problems is Wisetail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allows us to communicate with all levels of our business from Franchisees to brand-new baristas through the digital platform, reducing the amount of paper and/or outdated information within our stores. It brings tracking for all training, company initiatives, and forms into one place for better follow-through with our teams.

**What do you like best about Wisetail?**

I've been with Wisetail for 5 years and 2 companies...they continue to grow and develop the sight. I appriecate their partnership because they listen to their clients needs and are always willing to help. They are client focused!

**What do you dislike about Wisetail?**

Wisetail isn't currently as robust as some of their competitors but they continue to develop the functions for both the admin and end user.

**What problems is Wisetail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They are enhancing dashboard widgets and reporting.

To be honest, I don't really have any. I would like to see more relevant reporting options and interactive widgets in the dashboard

It's relatively easy to use and our Playerlync manager Connor has been extremely helpful answering questions and guiding us.

**What do you dislike about Wisetail?**

It would be nice if the site had more help articles on the admin portal to help with troubleshooting or maybe i am unaware this feature exists.

**What problems is Wisetail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Playerlync is helping us with training and helping us get all our employees on the same page with their job roles. It's helping us keep training manuals and videos organized and at our staff's fingertips to learn to do their role well.   It helps us build consistency, a big part of Mister O1.

**What do you like best about Wisetail?**

The best thing about Playerlync is how quick and easy it is to make new users. Playerlync allows me to clone existing users with similar groups and teams.  Over the last decade, this feature has saved me countless hours of work.

**What do you dislike about Wisetail?**

I have no complaints about Playerlync. The product works as it was intended and then some. It makes my job much more efficient.

**What problems is Wisetail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Playerlync allows us to send critical content to every user from anywhere in the world. The content is delivered to our users within minutes of publishing. Users never have to search for new content to be downloaded.

**What do you like best about Wisetail?**

Since using PlayerLync, our onboarding, training, and continuing education have become streamlined into one easy-to-use platform. The PlayerLync Forms make our Daily Operations fast, efficient, and easy to review. Plus, we are very excited to roll out PlayerLync to our upcoming Franchise locations to optimize consistency and productivity across the company!

**What do you dislike about Wisetail?**

Some layouts and organizational tools started out slightly complicated but became much easier to use with repetition.

**What problems is Wisetail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Training has become more consistent and uniformed throughout! It makes it much easier to collect data and read reports across multiple locations.

**What do you like best about Wisetail?**

The people at Wisetail were fantastic. From the CEO down to the newest customer service rep, we consistently had very positive interactions with them. They were generally prompt in returning emails and calls and overall customer service was definitely an excellent strength.

**What do you dislike about Wisetail?**

Almost every code update would break something. We were a Wisetail client from the very early days of the platform (version 4 I believe) until 2020 and the overall instability ultimately drove us away. Things were always broken and their code base wasn't solid enough to fix things easily. Add to that frustration the literal years that went by without a feature update as they kept selling from one investor to the next. Now that they've landed at a long-term owner, I'm hopeful they can recover and get back to the solid company they began as. In talking to current clients (as of June 2022), they still have not reached a place of stability. It is definitely a platform for small companies.

**Recommendations to others considering Wisetail:**

They need more time to develop. Keep looking.

**What problems is Wisetail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They provided a great "first" LMS for us, but what began as a cutting-edge platform quickly fell behind to be barely the middle of the pack. One strength the platform always had was the ability to deeply customize how a course/module was laid out for the learner. The overall flexibility of look and feel for the platform was and still is great. But the features, especially in reporting, were lacking to the point that we had to switch. That was in 2020 though and they have great people so hopefully it's improved.

**What do you like best about Wisetail?**

PlayerLync is a very flexible platform giving numerous options for content management. It allows us to adjust how we deliver the content to the end user in a number of ways to achieve the best adoption. From an end user perspective, the platform is very easy to use and understand, giving us great accessibility. 

**What do you dislike about Wisetail?**

I would look forward to a stronger reporting suite. Something to help demystify the level of engagement by end users with smart reporting that takes # of users, user activity, and content adoption into consideration.

Review in house course creation capabilities as you will need to stock content

PlayerLync has helped us get training into the hands of the employees. They no longer have to find a book or access a site when the manager is off the computer, this tool is available to them at all times. It also aids with the speed in which we can deliver a message.

**What do you like best about Wisetail?**

Always trying to get better and take client requests. Never pretend like they are perfect. Extremely friendly staff. Truly feel like they put their clients at the heart of everything that they do.

Alex, Brooke, Rob, Christian, Doug have all been extremely kind, patient and thorough with their job. I love them all! 

We have a lot of different software and this company is one that I can always count on to hear and address my concerns.

**What do you dislike about Wisetail?**

Sometimes things don’t work as they should. However, all the way from Beta testing to sales to the support team to Alex, everyone goes above and beyond to try to fix problems and meet our expectations.

**Recommendations to others considering Wisetail:**

Take time to figure out all of the capabilities of PlayerLync and then use it to its fullest capacity. It has a lot of great features that we haven’t even used yet.

**What problems is Wisetail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gives us a place to distribute all of our content to our franchises. It also gives us a place to deliver our training to our staff from HQ virtually.

**What do you like best about Wisetail?**

Reliable product and typically very responsive with customer service.  I really love the new updated user interface for the end user in the restaurants. We will be deploying that very soon. Also looking forward to deploying team manager in February. The gamification and curriculum paths are very exciting to me.

**What do you dislike about Wisetail?**

I wish the back end was a bit more user friendly. It is not very intuitive and takes a strong subject matter expert.  In smaller companies like ours where manpower is limited it is cumbersome to try to manage.  I also really wish I was here when the system was implemented because I am struggling to figure out what has been done. I am leaning towards starting fresh soon.

**Recommendations to others considering Wisetail:**

Make sure that prior to launching with PlayerLync you have a good amount of usable content and a plan to continue to develop and create.  This was the biggest challenge we had. We just hired Modern Training a few months ago and will have a library of new content so we can relaunch playerlync internally. I am excited to push towards its full potential because I was a user in a previous company and loved it.

**What problems is Wisetail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Currently. Not much but that is our fault. We aren't using it properly due to lack of content. In teh future we will house all of our new E Learning, Position Curriculum, Certification Exams, Course Quizes, and videos in it.

We use Wisetail primarily for training all of our volunteers. We love the versatility and the ability to customize courses and modules for our volunteers. We also use Wisetail as a staff intranet, where we store links to all of our cloud-based documents. This alone has saved us thousands in time, money, and headaches!

**What do you dislike about Wisetail?**

My only comment for improvement would be to find a way to mass assign "profiles" for each user type that auto-input the same selections/specifications for that profile type.

**Recommendations to others considering Wisetail:**

If you need a scalable way to track and provide training/intranet for your employees or volunteers, Wisetail is the way to go! Excellent customer service and super easy to roll out once the initial set-up phase is complete

We have saved thousands in staff time both for administering trainings, but also tracking volunteer training completions.

How simple is it for our chefs to use and navigate, I also like the new update where there are featured recipes and recipe pictures!

I dislike that you cant have more than 3 large categories. this makes it hard to break our sections. Some categories get over crowded

YES YES, this was a great addition to our restaurants! It has made sharing recipes much easier . It also reducing inconsistency between recipe books and outdated material!

**What problems is Wisetail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem solver is with recipes ecipes- so much easier to update recipes live and not have to reprint. We have saved tons of money!

**What do you like best about Wisetail?**

PlayerLync allows our franchise owners to upload their own content while allowing communication and training to be implemented from the corporate team to the entire franchising system. It also has provided the tracking and training needed to get our new locations up and running while keeping up with our brand standards.  

**What do you dislike about Wisetail?**

The downside is we can't use the forms due to how they are developed. It is something we really need, but due to how our company is structured, we can't use them.

We now have brand standards controls throughout the company. We also are seeing a huge increase in staff training and implementation.

PlayerLync is easy to use, easy to get the message out to your audience, and easy to navigate.  I love the PL team who is always helpful when needed.

There is nothing I dislike but I want more in the ways of reporting and get to the numbers and details more totality.

Take time to plan your strategy of how you want things to look, do you need to integrate or not and have fun.

**What problems is Wisetail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We rely heavily on our corporate LMS but most do not "do it all" and ours being one of them.  Therefore, PL is solving question level analysis, real time data, digitizing forms, not straining the network, integration with LMS,  etc. Benefits?  Saving time and money and resources.

**What do you like best about Wisetail?**

The proprietary stuff they're doing on the back end is truly impressive and unique in the product class, this is matched equally by the level of service the team at PlayerLync provides their clients.  

**What do you dislike about Wisetail?**

There is some legacy stuff that still needs to be updated, and the Android build lags behind the Apple-Ecosystem builds, but these are all things on the roadmap from what I understand.

**Recommendations to others considering Wisetail:**

A perfect platform to overcome mobile challenges in environments with limited bandwidth

**What problems is Wisetail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Real-time learning where it's needed when it's needed.  Augmented reality access to job aids and SOPs based on psychical location of TMs.  Rich media experiences on mobile in a wi-fi-challenged environment.

The complexity of organizing content, updating content, overall tracking, etc. is a full time job. For a larger organization that might be right in one person's wheelhouse, but for us (smaller size), it's a lot to get our hands around.

**Recommendations to others considering Wisetail:**

Create a long-term plan and commit a lot of time to what you have ahead of you. Buildout of materials and content is time consuming for sure.

**What problems is Wisetail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Providing a source of truth for all recipes, specs, processes, best practices, etc. I think education has improved and consistency is stronger as a result.

Playerlync has been a very easy product to manage and adapt in our restaurants. Stores love the new interface.
Our rep Joey is also always available and responsive when I need assistance.

Wish I could have more sub categories on bed user side.
Videos don't do the best very choppy

The team of support engineers is top notch and respond within 24 hours, but most times way before that 24 hours.

**What do you dislike about Wisetail?**

We don't use it like most concepts so while it limits us in some aspects it does help Playerlync and us understand it limits but also future capabilities.

Forms is a very heavily used function for us and helps keep an electronic record of visits, rollouts and evals.

Training and support from PlayerLync has been great from the start up to launch day! Our ability to manage content, add, delete and feature is what attracted us to PlayerLync. 

**What do you dislike about Wisetail?**

Not much to dislike, even when we struggled with a function the support team was fast and through. If i had to say one thing it would be some of the steps in the back end could be stream lined.

We have solved out-dated content that was being searched for and used. Easy of updated content and the delivery of training videos.

**What do you like best about Wisetail?**

It can do just about everything, from Videos to PDF to real e-learning tracking.  Add on "Forms" to replace paper checklists... It truly is a complete training system; almost a complete management system. 

**What do you dislike about Wisetail?**

What i dislike most is learning as we go and set up time.  Being such a massive system that does everything, we're constantly learning "HOW" to do those things.  And setting it all up takes time.  We've been with PL for over a year and we're just starting to use Forms.  (Which is a very cool feature too.)   Lastly, being so new, they're still adding features.  But every update brings something cool.

Worth it...  one of the few robust systems.  It can do just about everything.

With any LMS, tracking training from remote locations was our goal.  Being able to verify training at stores across the country.  It's really easy and user friendly for both the users and Admins.

Our early experiences were excellent. Onboarding and having our co-lab in Bozeman were fantastic, and it was as painless a process as launching an LMS could have been. Our rep was fantastic, intelligent, and knew the system inside and out. 

**What do you dislike about Wisetail?**

Since launch, our experience has gone downhill. The company was acquired (not sure if this caused the decline or not), we were reassigned to a new rep, and any and all site improvements promised over a year ago have been postponed time and again. Our new rep doesn't seem to understand the system at all and cannot answer our questions. We have made no progress or improvements to our initial release, and use has dropped off in our organization due to the stale tech. Finally, the search function is laughable. It's impossible to find courses using it.

Wait until they right themselves.

By far my favorite part about PlayerLync is the people I get to work with. Their team has amazing customer service and are extremely helpful. They go above and beyond to make sure their product is meeting our needs. They are always working to better their product and are great at communicating with us on how changes in their system will benefit or impact our team. 

**What do you dislike about Wisetail?**

Anything that I have had concerns about they quickly resolve or add to the product map. Their reports are not quite where I would like them to be but even then they provide me with workarounds and updates to meet my needs until it can be built into their system. 

**Recommendations to others considering Wisetail:**

PlayerLync is a great tool once it is in place. Take time to do the set up right and listen to the recommendations of the team. If you get it set up and running right from the beginning it will make operating it smooth and painless. 

**What problems is Wisetail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Once we finish our roll out of PlayerLync, it will be the only global communication platform in our company. That is huge! Trying to find successful ways to communicate and train our deskless population is a challenge, and PlayerLync is the only system that has offered that solution while also being operable for our corporate employees. In addition to improving our communication across all levels, the system has also improved how we set up global virtual meetings.  With their platform we are able to provide detailed and engaging prework to make sure our time is best spent when we bring global partners into the same room. It has really allowed us to refocus meeting time and improve how much time is spent on valuable discussion.

It is helpful to organize all new training documents, limiting access, uploading and sharing many kinds of media.  Love that it is easy to brand and back-end is very intuitive. 

**What do you dislike about Wisetail?**

For our company, it would be helpful to have a deeper folder system, an easier way to search through longer PDFs, I would prefer videos started at the beginning upon opening the app, there are times when the last user will remain logged in even after the program is closed.  Excited for the update on forms!

Communication in a secure manner.  The ease of making an update across many locations.

Wisetail LMS serves as the platform for our users to interact with our online micro learning content. This has created a space for both our teams to deploy effective training across their systems. The single sign-on options allows our team to limit utilization metrics and focus more on what our users are learning and focused on as an organization.

The reporting capabilities for local admins are limited. Many reports have to be generated by our internal team which can cause delays and large amounts of backend work.

The hardest part was breaking the employee routine of using the paper and forcing them to go to the iPad for stuff.

I never worry about a delay when I am in need of support. The playerlync team has always played an active role in further development of our use of their product, and is always ready and willing to help whenever needed.

With the way we use the playerlync software, it would be a HOME RUN  if we could get an API integration into our scheduling software so as to ease and automate the transfer of information.

Ability to collect all necessary guest information, paperless! Ability to analyze all information from all guests across the country in one centralized dashboard. The simplicity of the end user experience with PlayerLync is my favorite feature. With minimal explanation, anyone can pick up a device with the app loaded and get immediate value from it. This makes it easy to drive adoption in an organization. It's always great when you have your end users raving about a new system instead of being frustrated about it! 

**What do you dislike about Wisetail?**

I have no big dislikes when it comes to the product. There have been some "wish list" items I've had and over time they've been incorporated into the platform. I feel like PlayerLync values and listens to customer input.

**What problems is Wisetail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had many printed paper documents (recipe books, etc) and having to print and send these every time there was a change kept us from moving as quickly as we would like, was expensive, and we were always concerned if the restaurants were using the most updated version. With PlayerLync, we can instantly make changes to documents and always know managers are referencing the right thing. Managers know that they just go to PlayerLync to easily get what they need. So there has definitely been a cost save with printing and shipping, and I'm sure we've seen a reduction in errors as well.

From time to time the app does crash, but it comes right back when you open it back up. Unfortunately the windows version of PlayerLync does not have full functionality at this time. Winter 2018

Our teams have access to all of the content they need in a simple app. They literally have everything that need to run the store. It supports longterm training goals by being an excellent repository of content. It also supports quick training needs as we can deliver content to the entire company as quickly as we can produce it.

I love the fact that I can upload a file and it downloads to the restaurants within the hour.

I dislike that I have to click so many buttons to get to what I want on the admin portal. I wish that I could have a "favorites" bar or something that would take me straight to what I am looking for. I also am having to change all of my file names because the font is larger on the new app, not that big of a deal, but it is around 400 file names that I am changing overall.

PlayerLync is a great tool for any business, restaurant or otherwise. We use it for multiple tasks. After using PlayerLync, we would never go back to not having it! It has truly changed the way we do business.
