From what I've heard, it really depends on whether qualification happens before or after the booking, tools like OnceHub and Qualified that screen and route before a slot even opens up seem to genuinely improve lead quality, since unqualified visitors never get to book in the first place. A tool that just triggers a workflow after any booking, without a screening step in front of it, mostly speeds up how fast a lead of any quality reaches a rep, good or bad, so the automation itself isn't what improves quality, it's whether qualification logic sits ahead of the calendar or just behind it.
