Wappalyzer Reviews & Product Details

I like Wappalyzer because it has a lot of filter options and provides contact information when available. This is really helpful because I can filter out companies I already have data on, so I don't get information I don't need. It's also been beneficial in identifying my target market. I appreciate that their support responded really fast when I had an issue with my account. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I had an issue where my account didn't recognize that I had paid, so it wouldn't let me export the list on my own. I had to email support, but they responded really fast and emailed me the list that way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The best thing about Wappalyzer is that it's compatibility to use it with chrome as an extension and name of the tech stacks which it provides is very much helpful. It detects more than one technologies inspite of having several categories. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I dislike one thing about Wappalyzer that is it's lack of free credits (which can be increased by them). It also slows the browser on which it's installed and while it's use is good to find out tech stacks of the website but sometimes accuracy of that website being built on same tech stack as shown by Wappalyzer is challenging. I use Wappalyzer for my day-to-day tasks, primarily for identifying the tech stack used by partners and clients, which helps in understanding integration feasibility and pitch preparation. I really appreciate Wappalyzer's ease of use and high accuracy. The Chrome extension of Wappalyzer adds to its user-friendliness, making it one of the features I use due to its simplicity. The initial setup was very easy, and these aspects combined make it quite an effective tool for my tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like most about Wappalyzer is how quickly it provides visibility into a company’s technology stack. It helps me identify highly relevant prospects, personalize outreach, and focus on organizations where our services can add immediate value. This makes prospecting more efficient and improves conversion rates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I dislike about Wappalyzer is that the technology data is sometimes incomplete or outdated, so it requires additional validation. Also, some useful prospecting features like bulk analysis and advanced filters are only available in paid version Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

User Experience on the website. There are a few bugs that can only be resolved once we reach out to support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I use Wappalyzer's browser extension to detect programming languages and frameworks used on any website, which helps me understand what a website has employed in terms of programming frameworks, languages, servers, and tools. The best thing about it is how it automatically detects everything about any website while browsing. The initial setup was very fast and hassle-free as I installed it in my Brave browser. I don't have anything specific, but more advanced features such as in-depth analysis of features of any particular website can be added as a value-added feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Wappalyzer makes it incredibly easy to extract and analyze lists of Shopify and PrestaShop stores. The data is accurate, detailed, and instantly actionable. I especially value how quickly it generates targeted lists that would normally take hours or days to compile manually. The technology stack insights are also a big plus, helping to segment prospects and plan outreach strategies effectively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

So far, I haven’t found any major downsides. The only thing I could point out is that for very large datasets, it might take some time to process, but considering the value of the information provided, it’s more than worth the wait. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Wappalyzer has the best UX for technographic lead generation. Great inventory of tech that they monitor and index. Leads sheets are straight forward and accurate enough. Support team is fast to respond. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The basic plan covers only two technology lookups a month which is not really enough for anyone. You are going to want the unlimited technology lookups. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
