Because the out of the box characters, backgrounds, sounds, music, and even ai-scripting are robust, you learn as go. **What do you dislike about Vyond?** Vyond's timeline, transitions, and other video editing features are extremely limited and there is no way to expand some of these features by adding plug-ins. They really provide excellent customer support in making sure you know how to use their product making the implimentation easy no matter what you are using it for. I am still a new user thats just begining to use it for special projects so there is still much for me to learn... **What do you dislike about Vyond?** However the one frustration I have found with it is the lack of self creativity edit and build. Yes, you can remove shapes you can add shapes you can change the colors and switch standing direction from on direction to the other but there is no 360 rotation, there just isn't a lot of self edit build design implementation options you have to use different softwear to create like a whiteboard scene to match what you are trying to achive, it would just be nice to have a little more free hand edit options for expression purposes. **What problems is Vyond solving and how is that benefiting you?** Vyond is helping us bring our training to life and off the paper for minds that process information differently or might struggle with reading. It has a loot "out of the box" templates therefore it is a usefull tool. Specially in our case (we produce in 3 Languages) it is very easy to handle. **What do you dislike about Vyond?** for what is used it until now, i didn't miss anything. i don't have any dislikes. One thing could be more user friendly. But it probably, i don't know it better. I produce content in 3 Languages. I first finished in one language and copyied it in the other languages. That is the only thing in my opinion, i wished the tool was designed for the use of different languages. For exmple, that the tool can handle a language parameter. But, I've figured it out! Prior to that, I dabbled with Vyond for my study even back to a decade ago way before Vyond was rebranded. This tool is a game changer for me who has 0 coding background on animation. Certainly, there are many animation tools on the market, these are outstanding things (among many) why I think Vyond is the best, no wonder why it's so popular: 1. User friendly: very straightforward and easy to figure out which feature is for what. Normally, just search, pick, drag and click - easy and simple. The search function can do the most magic whenever you need a specific character, expression, action, background, template, etc. 2. Character customization: very neat! To my knowledge, some other animation tools don't have this feature. 3. Text to speech: this is what I would highly promote - this feature improves dramatically, very satisfying. Some voice choices sound very natural! 4. Vyond Go: based on AI, just type a few words, it can generate a video template within 20 seconds with all potential scripts, then can edit from there! Magical! 5. Customer support: they have fantastic support team and great resources, like resource center, job aids, webinars, boot camps, email updates, etc. I have learned so much from their webinars and boot camps. **What do you dislike about Vyond?** Regarding Vyond per se, I cannot think of any "dislike" at this point. It serves my need very well. Maybe if it would be cheaper upon the various plans, more and more people and organization can allocate budget on it. :-) **What problems is Vyond solving and how is that benefiting you?** Make training more interative and engaging within a limited development time. ### 15. It offers options of 3 different styles of animation, all of which are very easy to learn. I tested out a different animation software and after a number of hours of experimenting with it, it still felt clunky. I was able to figure out Vyond right away. Plus there are lots of free tutorials that are clear and brief. It is simple to add voice over. Customer support responds immediately. If you know some basics about storytelling and design, you can create great videos in a jiff without needing to know much about animation itself. There is no need to install anything on your device which makes it very easy to set-up. Video creation is easy and offers countless elements and characters that I can customize accordingly. Vyond continuously updates its library, so you can find characters and elements for any occasion. Additionally, I have the option to upload and integrate my own assets. I love the lip-synching of the characters which makes the videos so much more engaging. I use the videos for knowledge transfer, but also to create branching scenarios or exit games. Additional I utilized individual characters or scenes to make case studies and worksheets more appealing. This way, a story can be better conveyed as a picture says more than thousand words. I use Vyond almost daily, always looking for ways to further improve my teaching. And my students love the results. But be careful, Vyond has a high potential for addiction ;-) **What do you dislike about Vyond?** I have nothing to criticize about Vyond itself. As things come up in our program, we can easily develop a script and video and have a video whipped up within a day. There are so many templates to get started so you aren't being paralyzed by a blank screen. I use this tool every week in my role and it is so simple to work with! Additionally, the customer service is top notch. Whenever anything comes up, we can reach out for questions and help and the team is always willing to support us -- even when we're being high maintenance. Big fan of Vyond!! **What do you dislike about Vyond?** There isn't anything I have experienced that I dislike -- I am a big advocate for this tool and have gotten several people in my company on board with this tool. Everyone needs it! **What problems is Vyond solving and how is that benefiting you?** We don't have to hire an external vendor to make videos for us. Now we are able to create a video in a really expedited time frame and it it costs us significantly less money. Best tool we've invested in for our program. ### 28. And out of those applications, I would say that Vyond has one of the smallest learning curves, making it easy to produce a quick video in a short period of time. I frequently use Vyond (on average at least once a month) to create coprorate training videos, and have found our learners to be very receptive of this method of delivery. I appreciate the continuous upgrades, the variety of features, and the customer support provided via the Vyond community's bi-weekly office hour sessions and the other training opportunities provided. I look forward to expanding my use of this tool by integrating it with other course creation software such as Articulate 360. **What do you dislike about Vyond?** While I do appreciate the different levels of subscription - enabling more to find a fit for their budget - I was most disappointed to learn that most of the newest features were rolled out to Enterprise and Agency subscribers. I would ask that Vyond consider making some of those features (such as the Brand Kit) availble to a greater subscribing audience as they continue to add capabilities to their software. **What problems is Vyond solving and how is that benefiting you?** Using Vyond means that I don't have to schedule time in a recording studio, or ensure that I have a quiet environment to record video narration in. I love the functionality, characters and posibilities you have on the platform. My trainings have been so much more engaging since I have mastered Vyond. I sometimes have to go to a different platform to find props and upload them on Vyond. I would love to see more sound effects for the videos and I would also love to more enter/exit variotions. One more thing would be to add "flip" on proprs intead of just circular or linear direction. **What problems is Vyond solving and how is that benefiting you?** I see new contetn that gets added every month an dI think it is great to see that even though the Vyond is very successful already they still keep improving. I recently customized characters in a module that looked like the presenter and researcher of the information, adding a little humor to liven things up a bit. Instead of having to stare at a blank screen, I can enter specific prompts into Vyond Go and within seconds, be provided with a complete video! Being able to then quickly customize an existing script (rather than starting from scratch) has greatly reduced my production time! Vyond lets me make videos that I thought only professional animators could create! **What do you dislike about Vyond?** Coming from Articulate, I was expecting a different sort of 'timeline' view. It took me a while to figure out that 'scenes' correlate with any change in character movement and not just when there is a new 'location.' **What problems is Vyond solving and how is that benefiting you?** Shooting traditional video is not only time-consuming and cumbersome, but if you're using internal employees, you can quickly run into issues -- not only because those employees generally are not trained actors, but also if and when those employees ever leave. It takes minutes to put together a video that can be informative, casual, professional or playful for a diverse number of topics geared toward different fields, industries, or business areas. **What do you dislike about Vyond?** There isn't really anything I dislike about Vyond. I only wish they added more layouts and scenes to choose from so there is even more variety in the end product. Keep up the good work! One of the areas I experience this the most with voice overs. With text-to-speech and the ability to choose from several different voices, languages, and even acccents, I no longer have to spend hours recording myself, or others, for videos. The other incredibly useful feature is the translate button. I currently support an international client and most of my design team members speak only English. With the translate feature in Vyond, we are able to design in English and then translate the video into the desired target language for our client in seconds! ### 43.
