"Quota attainment data changed how I design training programs"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Visdum?

The attainment and earnings data at the rep level has become a genuine input into how I build enablement programs. I can see which reps are consistently falling short of specific thresholds and work backward to understand whether the gap is skill-based, activity-based or structural. That diagnostic capability did not exist in a usable form before Visdum. I am building programs now that are more targeted because the data tells me where the gaps actually are rather than where managers think they are. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visdum?

The enablement-specific reporting I want to build requires pulling data into an external tool. A learning and development view within the platform that connected attainment patterns to training completion would make this workflow significantly more efficient. "Understood my comp plan properly for the first time in my career"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Visdum?

I have been in sales for several years and I have never fully understood a commission plan until Visdum made mine visible in a way that connected to my actual deals. The accelerator logic, the product-line weighting, the treatment of multi-year contracts. All of it is laid out against my real pipeline rather than described abstractly in a document I read once during onboarding and never returned to. That understanding has changed how I approach deal structuring in ways I did not anticipate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visdum?

When a deal is being revised actively the commission projection can take a cycle to fully reflect updated terms. In deals that are moving fast that lag requires me to do a quick manual estimate while waiting for the platform to catch up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Sales team queries at close dropped to almost nothing this cycle"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Visdum?

The self-service access reps have to their own commission data has had a direct impact on my team's workload. The questions that used to come to finance during close, why is this deal showing a different rate, why did my accelerator not apply, why does my total not match my calculation, are being answered by the platform before they reach us. That is not a small thing when close is already busy. The audit trail is thorough enough that when a question does reach us we can answer it in minutes rather than having to reconstruct the logic from a spreadsheet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visdum?

Some of the standard commission accrual reports need adjustment to align with how our finance team structures accruals internally. It required configuration support during setup and I would have preferred it to be more flexible out of the box. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Sharper One-on-Ones with Clear Team Attainment Visibility"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Visdum?

My one-on-ones have a different quality now. Reps come in having already checked their numbers and the first ten minutes are not spent establishing where they stand. We start from a shared picture and go straight to what matters. The team-level view I have in the platform lets me see attainment distribution across my group before those sessions and I arrive with a clearer sense of where to focus the conversation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visdum?

The team dashboard does not let me compare rep performance across multiple periods as easily as I would like. Seeing this month against last month for each rep requires more navigation than it should. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The audit preparation that used to take a week now takes a day"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Visdum?

Internal audit asks for commission documentation every year and every year the preparation process was a significant project. Reconstructing the logic behind specific payouts, producing evidence that plan rules were applied consistently, demonstrating that the calculation methodology matched the plan document. All of it required pulling from multiple sources and assembling something coherent under time pressure. Visdum produces that documentation as a byproduct of running normally. When audit asks for it we pull it from the platform rather than building it from scratch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visdum?

A few of the audit report formats needed adjustment to match our internal audit team's specific requirements. Configuration work that the Visdum team supported but worth anticipating. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Enterprise renewal commissions are finally calculated the way the plan intended"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Visdum?

Multi-year renewals with different terms than the original contract are the kind of deal that breaks a spreadsheet-based commission model. The rules for how to treat them are usually clear in the plan document but translating those rules into a formula that works consistently across different deal shapes is genuinely hard. We had errors regularly. Visdum encodes the rules at the configuration level and they apply the same way regardless of how unusual the deal structure is. I have not had a renewal commission dispute since we went live. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visdum?

Deals that cross fiscal year boundaries occasionally require a manual review before the commission finalizes. Not frequent but worth knowing about for a book of business that includes a lot of multi-year agreements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The handoff between quota setting and commission administration is clean now"
5/5
What do you like best about Visdum?

In most organizations I have seen those two things live in different tools, maintained by different people, and connected by a manual process that creates errors. Quota gets set in one place, commission gets calculated in another, and reconciling them at the end of the period is someone's unglamorous job. Visdum handles both sides and the connection between them is automatic. When a quota changes the commission calculation reflects it without an additional step. That sounds like a small thing until you have spent years managing the alternative. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visdum?

The approval routing for quota changes could be more configurable. Our org has a specific approval hierarchy that required some workaround to replicate in the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Quota attainment conversations have actual data behind them now"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Visdum?

One of the harder parts of my role is helping reps who are struggling with attainment understand what is actually driving the gap. Is it activity volume, conversion rate, deal size, mix of deal types. Previously those conversations were based on whatever I could pull together from multiple places and the picture was always incomplete. Visdum gives me a cleaner view of the earnings and attainment breakdown at the rep level and that has made my coaching conversations more specific and more useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visdum?

A shared coaching view that I could use directly in a session with a rep without navigating through their personal commission data would be a useful addition. Right now I have to think about what I share on screen. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Commission expense variance analysis stopped being an estimate"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Visdum?

Every month I produce a variance analysis that explains why commission expense came in above or below plan. For a long time that analysis involved a fair amount of reconstruction because the underlying data was not granular enough to explain the variance precisely. I could tell you the total was off but explaining exactly why required assumptions. Visdum gives me deal-level commission data that makes the variance analysis actually meaningful. I can attribute the deviation to specific deals, specific plan components or specific attainment patterns rather than speaking in approximations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visdum?

Pulling the data in the exact format my variance template requires involves an export step that could be more automated. A minor workflow friction. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Board conversations about sales compensation changed when we had real data behind them"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Visdum?

Every board meeting has a section on sales productivity and compensation cost. For a long time those conversations relied on backward-looking summaries that were assembled manually and were already a month old by the time I presented them. The board would ask questions I could not always answer precisely and I would follow up after the meeting. Visdum has not eliminated that entirely but it has moved us significantly closer to having current, defensible numbers when those conversations happen. I can speak to attainment distribution, commission expense versus plan, and payout concentration with data rather than estimates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visdum?

The executive reporting layer is functional but I would want more flexibility in how I configure the summary views for a board audience specifically. It requires some preparation to get the output into the format I need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
