# Which learning management system (LMS) platforms have dated UIs and performance issues when multiple browser tabs are open?

It's that the interface and browser performance can make everyday course management more cumbersome.</p><ul>

&lt;p&gt;I’d be curious whether Blackboard’s multi-tab issue is still reproducible with current versions, because browser performance can change considerably across releases and devices. Has anyone recently compared Blackboard and Canvas while doing a realistic admin workflow with several courses open simultaneously? Was the slowdown platform-specific, or did browser memory and machine specs make the bigger difference?&lt;/p&gt;
