## Valimail Reviews
 ### 1. Automated, Clear Path to DMARC Enforcement and Sender Visibility

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Martin K. | Chief Executive Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Valimail?**

It provides an automated path to DMARC enforcement, along with clear visibility into all services sending email from our domain.

**What do you dislike about Valimail?**

Valimail does a good job of simplifying DMARC enforcement, but the pricing can feel steep and isn’t always transparent, which may be a real hurdle for smaller teams. The high level of automation is convenient, yet it can also come across as a bit of a black box at times—especially for more experienced administrators who may want finer-grained control and clearer visibility into what changes are being made and why. Reporting is generally functional, but it could benefit from more customization options for teams that want to dig into raw authentication data and analyze it in greater detail.

**What problems is Valimail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Valimail addresses the challenge of achieving and maintaining DMARC enforcement, which would otherwise be a complex, manual effort. It automatically identifies the services sending email from our domain and keeps our authentication records organized and up to date, which has significantly reduced the risk of our domain being spoofed in phishing attacks. For us, the result is stronger protection against impersonation, improved email deliverability, and much less time spent manually managing DNS records and reviewing DMARC reports.

 ### 2. Valimail Simplifies SPF, DKIM, and DMARC with Clear Domain Visibility

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Oscar R. | Service Manager Workplace & microsoft, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Valimail?**

Trusted, simple email domain security

Our experience with Valimail has been very positive. The platform has helped us identify unauthorized use of our primary corporate domain, giving us much better visibility into who is sending email on behalf of our organization.

One of the biggest benefits has been discovering and securing email traffic from platforms such as Salesforce that were not previously under our control. Valimail has been an invaluable tool for investigating and resolving the use of corporate domains across different services that had not been fully inventoried or managed.

Another area where Valimail stands out is subdomain management. Subdomains are often overlooked during DKIM, SPF, and DMARC security projects, but Valimail makes it remarkably easy to bring them under the same monitoring and protection framework as the primary domains.

A particularly important challenge for us was our SPF record. Over time, the number of SPF redirects had grown to nine, very close to the RFC limit of ten DNS lookups. This represented a potential risk for email delivery across the organization. Valimail’s SPF Flattening feature provided the flexibility we needed to overcome this limitation while maintaining proper authentication and ensuring reliable email delivery.

If I had to mention one area for improvement, it would be the interaction with the Microsoft 365 admin experience, specifically Exchange Online domain verification. The Microsoft portal does not always recognize the Valimail DNS records during the initial verification process. As a result, we sometimes need to add new domains using the traditional Microsoft DNS records first, complete the verification, and then replace them with the Valimail records. In the end, everything integrates correctly with Valimail, so this is only a minor inconvenience. From our perspective, this is more of a Microsoft limitation than a Valimail issue.

Overall, Valimail has significantly improved our visibility, governance, and security posture for email authentication. It has simplified the management of SPF, DKIM, and DMARC across both primary domains and subdomains, while helping us identify services we were previously unaware of. We would confidently recommend Valimail to any enterprise looking to strengthen control over its corporate email domains and improve its email authentication strategy.

**Official Response from Al Iverson:**

> Thank you very much for your detailed review and feedback! DNS config and domain verification are common pain points, and we're trying hard to improve these steps in the process.

 ### 3. Making Email Authentication Simpler and More Secure

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Patrick T. | President & Co-Founder, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Valimail?**

What I like best about Valimail is how it simplifies a technical process. The interface is clean and easy to navigate, and the reports make it much easier to understand which services are sending emails through our domain. It integrates well with our existing email setup, performs reliably, and automates much of the monitoring that would otherwise require manual work. This saves time, improves email security, and provides good overall value.

**What do you dislike about Valimail?**

The main downside of Valimail is that some of the terminology and detailed reports can still feel technical, especially for someone who is unfamiliar with DMARC or email authentication. The initial setup and certain integrations may require help from an IT or DNS administrator. More in-product guidance, clearer explanations, and smarter recommendations for resolving specific issues would improve the onboarding experience. The pricing may also be harder for smaller businesses to justify if they only need basic monitoring features.

**What problems is Valimail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Valimail helps us identify and control which services are authorized to send email using our domain. It turns complicated DMARC data into useful information, making it easier to detect unauthorized senders, prevent spoofing and phishing, and resolve authentication issues that could affect email deliverability. Its automated monitoring and analysis reduce the amount of manual work required, saving our team time while helping protect our brand reputation and giving customers greater confidence that our emails are legitimate.

 ### 4. Set It and Forget It: Valimail Runs Smoothly in the Background

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nessa H. | Business Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Valimail?**

What I like most about Valimail is that, once it's set up, it just runs in the background. I don't have to think about it or spend time managing it. It quietly does its job, giving me confidence that my email authentication is working correctly without any ongoing effort.

**What do you dislike about Valimail?**

The free plan has been enough for what I need, but some of the more detailed reporting and advanced features are only available on the paid plans. If you want deeper insights, you'll need to upgrade. That said, I've been very happy with what the free version offers.

**What problems is Valimail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Valimail solved a problem that would otherwise have taken me a lot of time to understand. It helped me make sure my email was compliant with the required authentication standards without needing to become an expert in DKIM, SPF, or the technical details behind them. I could simply follow the guidance, make the necessary changes, and be confident everything was set up correctly.

**Official Response from Al Iverson:**

> Thank you kindly for your feedback.

 ### 5. Easy, Reliable DMARC Setup with a Great Interface

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Krista J. | Director of IT, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Valimail?**

I’ve found Valimail easy to use, and I really like its interface. It’s been reliable, and I was able to implement DMARC and related settings in a short amount of time. It includes everything I need to manage my mail DNS.

Before using Valimail, I had a hard time knowing whether my SPF and DKIM records were correct and actually working. Now I feel confident that my domain is in great shape.

**What do you dislike about Valimail?**

I have not found any downsides to using Valimail. I am using the free version which give me what I need. However if you pay the will basically do it all for you which is nice if you do not understand DNS records.

**What problems is Valimail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Valimail helps you set up your dns mail records so that your email is compliant with google, yahoo etc and so people do not spoof your domain. It has made sure our emails will get to our members and help keep our domain safe. For me - I worry less especially since they will send me an email if anything changes.

**Official Response from Al Iverson:**

> Thank you kindly for your review and feedback!

 ### 6. Efficient DNS and Email Reporting with Reasonable Pricing and Wonderful Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tim C. | IT Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Valimail?**

It is a LOT easier and more efficient than tweaking DNS entries and trying to keep pace with length limitations.

We use the reports to see email issues and this helps us contact people who have set up a mail service without telling anyone.

Pricing is quite reasonable and it has taking a fair amount of workload off our DNS folks.

It was easy to get it hooked into our M365 tenant and we were able to "kick the tires" prior to purchasing which made it an easier sell internally as well as giving us a degree of confidence on how the tool works.

Support has been wonderful, they are always willing to answer questions and help s nail down a problematic issue.

**What do you dislike about Valimail?**

The user interface is a bit cryptic and there's definitely a learning curve to figure out where to look for your current task.

**What problems is Valimail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Valimail solves our DMARC/DKIM maintenance issues by providing a web based UI that we can have Security and Systems utilize.

**Official Response from Al Iverson:**

> Thank you kindly! We'll keep working to try to make things less cryptic where we can. :)

 ### 7. Valimail Makes DMARC Enforcement and Email Authentication Easy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shehan W. | IT Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Valimail?**

What I like best about Valimail is how it turns complex email authentication into an automated, understandable workflow. It identifies legitimate senders by name, simplifies SPF/DKIM configuration, and helps domains reach DMARC enforcement with far less manual DNS work making strong anti-spoofing protection practical to maintain.

**What do you dislike about Valimail?**

The main drawback is that onboarding can still feel complex when an organization has many domains and third-party senders. The platform simplifies DMARC considerably, but interpreting unfamiliar sending services and coordinating DNS changes may require technical expertise and cross-team effort.

**What problems is Valimail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Valimail helps us identify every service sending email on our behalf, prevent domain spoofing and phishing, and move toward DMARC enforcement without manually analyzing complex reports. This improves domain security and email deliverability while reducing DNS administration, investigation time, and the risk of blocking legitimate senders.

 ### 8. Simple, Cost-Effective Email Delivery Insights with an Intuitive Dashboard

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Harry C. | VP of IT, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Valimail?**

It is a simple and cost effective way to gain insight into email delivery for my domain. It gives you an intuitive dashboard that summarizes email delivery. Setup was easy in that all I had to do was add Valimail to my dmarc record and create an account. This is the easiest way to see how your email is being delivered across email providers and possible area to improve delivery rates.

**What do you dislike about Valimail?**

I do wish that we there were more details on emails that are blocked or fail delivery. Because it is summarized it is hard to see which specific pieces of email had issues.

**What problems is Valimail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

More and more of the big email providers are increasing email security compliance. Valimail makes it easy to ensure to we are compliant.

 ### 9. Get DMARC enforcement done, it is easier than you think.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** james p. | Managing Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Valimail?**

The simplicity of onboarding domains and senders is a real plus, especially since I can monitor progress in the Authentication UI tab. It helps me manage my time alongside the progress being made. Adding each new domain or sender follows the same process, so it gets quicker and easier every time.

When I do need help, the support team responds quickly and provides as much detail as I need.

**What do you dislike about Valimail?**

Nothing major to complain about overall; it’s simple to use and efficient. It would be even better if AI could start to play a role by helping with sender corrections and making predictions.

**What problems is Valimail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Email deliverability and compliance are key. Get DMARC to enforcement so your domain becomes trusted.

**Official Response from Al Iverson:**

> Thanks very much for your review and feedback.

 ### 10. Valimail Makes Enterprise Email Security Easy, with Exceptional Reporting and Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Luxury Goods & Jewelry | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Valimail?**

What stands out most about Valimail is how seamlessly it balances ease of use with robust, enterprise-grade capabilities. The initial integration process was straightforward and pain-free, and the platform itself features a clean, intuitive interface that makes navigating email security configuration simple.

The reporting is exceptional, offering the perfect granularity for different audiences—from actionable operational details for the technical team to high-level executive summaries tailored for senior leadership. On top of the product itself, the support team at Valimail is stellar: responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping us maintain a strong email security posture.

**What do you dislike about Valimail?**

Nothing major comes to mind. If I had to point out one minor thing, the interface can occasionally take a bit of time to get used to when searching for and setting up the proper configurations for dynamic services. However, once you become familiar with the layout and workflow, it becomes straightforward to navigate.

**What problems is Valimail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Valimail provides us with a single, centralized console to manage and monitor our entire email security configuration. Having a unified view gives our team complete visibility over email authentication without needing to juggle disparate systems. The tailored reporting is a massive benefit here—our technical teams get the operational granularity they need to troubleshoot and maintain SPF/DKIM/DMARC, while senior leadership gets clear, high-level insights into our overall security posture.

Additionally, Valimail made the process of integrating and setting up BIMI certificates incredibly straightforward. By streamlining BIMI deployment, it helped us strengthen our brand protection, improve email deliverability, and build greater trust with our recipients right in their inboxes.

 ### 11. Clean Dashboard and Clear Reporting for Easier SPF, DKIM & DMARC Management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Valimail?**

It simplifies managing SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.
The dashboard is clean and easy to navigate, making it simpler to monitor email authentication and issues quickly.
It integrates well with our email infrastructure, and the reporting provides clear visibility into who is sending email on behalf of our domain.
The onboarding process was smooth, support was responsive, and overall it has saved us time while improving our email security.

**What do you dislike about Valimail?**

While the platform is easy to use overall, some of the more advanced DMARC settings and reports can take time to fully understand if you're new to email authentication. I'd also like to see more customization in reporting and dashboards along with short/precise documentations.

**What problems is Valimail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us manage email authentication and protect our domains from spoofing and phishing attacks. It gives us clear visibility into all legitimate email senders, making it easier to identify misconfigurations and safely enforce DMARC policies. This has improved our email security, reduced manual troubleshooting and looking up endless search result and finding what matters.

 ### 12. Fast, Painless DMARC Onboarding with Clear Rollout Tracking in Valimail

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Valimail?**

A free option is available, although it’s somewhat limited. The user interface provides a quick overview of the status of our DMARC health. Onboarding is fast and painless, so you can get up and running in a very short amount of time. With Valimail, we’ve been able to track our DMARC rollout over time and quickly see whether any changes we’ve made have negatively impacted our security. We’ve also been able to identify rogue email servers attempting to use our domain for spam campaigns.

**What do you dislike about Valimail?**

The authentication report page could be redesigned to feel clearer and provide a stronger at-a-glance overview of your current status. For instance, when you click on “Email disposition,” it would be helpful to see not only a graph, but also a short text summary that explains what the results mean.

**What problems is Valimail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Valimail, we’ve been able to roll out DMARC across our domains and track our DMARC usage over time. Having Valimail available as we increased the percentage on our records helped us spot and address issues sooner, so we could catch problems more quickly.

 ### 13. Clear, Centralized DMARC Visibility That Simplifies SPF/DKIM Troubleshooting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Valimail?**

What I like most about Valimail is the clear, centralized visibility it provides into all systems sending email on behalf of our domains. It makes DMARC reports much easier to understand, helps identify unauthorized or misconfigured senders, and allows me to troubleshoot SPF, DKIM, and email-delivery issues without manually reviewing raw DMARC data. This is especially valuable for managing multiple domains and third-party email services.

**What do you dislike about Valimail?**

The main limitation is that the free DMARC Monitor provides visibility but offers limited remediation and enforcement capabilities. Some advanced features require a paid upgrade, and the frequent upgrade prompts can be distracting. The reporting is useful, but investigating a specific sending source or authentication failure sometimes requires navigating through several screens and interpreting technical SPF, DKIM, and DMARC details.

**What problems is Valimail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Valimail solves the challenge of understanding which systems and third-party services are sending email on behalf of our domains and whether those messages are passing SPF, DKIM, and DMARC authentication. Before using it, reviewing raw DMARC reports was time-consuming and difficult to interpret.
The dashboard gives me a centralized and more user-friendly view of legitimate, suspicious, and misconfigured email sources. It has helped me troubleshoot delivery problems involving services such as Microsoft 365 and SendGrid, identify authentication failures, and correct configurations before they affect more users. For a small IT department, this saves considerable investigation time and provides useful email-security visibility without requiring a separate monitoring platform. The free monitoring tier also provides good value, although enforcement and remediation features require a paid plan.

 ### 14. Clear DMARC Visibility for a Small Nonprofit

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Valimail?**

What I like most about Valimail is the visibility it provides into who is sending email on behalf of our domain. The dashboard organizes DMARC data into a format that is much easier to understand than reviewing raw aggregate reports. I can quickly see which services are legitimate, whether they are passing SPF or DKIM alignment, and which unknown sources are failing authentication.

This has made it easier to strengthen our DMARC policy with confidence because I can verify that our legitimate senders are authenticated before increasing enforcement. The onboarding process was also straightforward, and the free monitoring option provides meaningful value for a small nonprofit that needs better email security without adding another major software expense.

**What do you dislike about Valimail?**

The main drawback is that Valimail can feel technical at first, especially for someone who does not work with email authentication regularly. Terms such as SPF alignment, DKIM alignment, and DMARC enforcement are not always explained in enough context inside the dashboard. I had to do some outside research before I felt confident interpreting the results and changing our policy. The reporting is useful, but clearer onboarding guidance and more plain-language recommendations would make the platform easier for small organizations to use.

**What problems is Valimail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Valimail is solving the lack of visibility around who is sending email on behalf of our domain. Before using it, DMARC reports were difficult to interpret and it was not always clear whether a sender was legitimate or properly authenticated.

The platform helps me identify approved sending services, verify SPF and DKIM alignment, and spot unauthorized or suspicious activity. This has allowed us to strengthen our DMARC policy with more confidence, reduce the risk of domain spoofing, and protect the credibility of emails sent from our organization.

 ### 15. Valimail Made DMARC Enforcement Simple, Visible, and Reliable

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew M. | ICT Operations Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Valimail?**

The biggest value has been moving from DMARC monitoring to enforcement without the manual guesswork that usually comes with it. Valimail's dashboard gives clear visibility into which senders are authenticating and which aren't, which made it much easier to build a rollout plan across our domains rather than guessing at policy changes and risking legitimate mail getting blocked.

Onboarding and support have been responsive and straightforward. Our onboarding contact walked us through a phased enforcement plan across multiple subdomains.

Integration with our existing email infrastructure was smooth and performance has been reliable, we haven't run into false positives that disrupted legitimate business email.

From an ROI perspective, the time saved not having to manually parse DMARC aggregate reports has been the clearest win, what used to be a manual, spreadsheet-heavy exercise is now something we can act on directly from the platform.

**What do you dislike about Valimail?**

The main area for improvement is around reporting granularity. The reporting UI can require a few extra clicks to drill into sender-level detail, which slows down investigation when something looks off.

Onboarding was solid overall, but getting to full enforcement took longer than initially scoped, partly due to the number of legacy senders we had to track down.

On the AI/intelligence side, automated sender identification is helpful but still needs manual verification before we're comfortable enforcing policy, so it's more of an assist than a full automation.

None of these are dealbreakers, but they're worth flagging for teams evaluating the platform at scale across multiple sites

**What problems is Valimail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Valimail, our email authentication setup was largely reactive, DMARC was in monitoring mode across our domains, but making sense of the aggregate reports and identifying which senders were legitimate versus which needed to be blocked was a manual, spreadsheet-heavy process. That made it hard to move confidently toward enforcement, since getting it wrong risked blocking genuine business and clinical communications across our sites.

With Valimail, we've been able to move from passive monitoring to active enforcement with much more confidence. The platform gives us clear, centralised visibility into every sending source across our domains, so instead of manually cross-referencing logs we can see authorised versus unauthorised senders at a glance and act on them directly. That's meaningfully reduced our exposure to email spoofing and phishing attempts impersonating our domains, which matters a lot in a healthcare environment where trust in email communications with patients, families, and partners is critical.

The practical benefit has been time and risk reduction in roughly equal measure. What used to take our security team hours of manual report parsing each month is now handled through the dashboard, freeing that time up for other security priorities, while our domain protection posture is materially stronger than when we were relying on monitoring alone

 ### 16. Streamlines email authentication but needs better alert customization and recommandations

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maxime P. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Valimail?**

I find Valimail helpful for making the implementation of the records easy and keeping track of major breaks. The sales team was good with the technical recommendation, and the platform is relatively straightforward to use. It's pretty easy to have, at a glance, all sending monitored emails and see what may be breaking.

**What do you dislike about Valimail?**

I wish Valimail had more customizable alerts to notify us when there's a failure on the domains. Right now we have to either review all alerts or check constantly every day, which is a bit inconvenient. It would be great if Valimail provided recommendations for fixing issues, as many teams, including IT engineers and CRM folks, aren't super familiar with email deliverability and we often don't know what to look for/what to do with the results shared.

**What problems is Valimail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Valimail for email sending domains to ensure no issues with DMARC, SPF, DKIM, and more. It simplifies record implementation and tracking breaks. Valimail is straightforward, helping monitor emails and identify issues easily.

**Official Response from Al Iverson:**

> Thanks very much for your review! We do actually have a number of alerts that can be configured. If you'd like help better understanding what's possible there, or if you have feedback on other alerts we need to add, feel free to drop me a line at al.iverson@valimail.com

 ### 17. Effortless domain DMARC and improv deliverability

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anshu S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Valimail?**

I appreciate that Valimail is free and helps me track all my domains, which is great since I manage multiple newsletters. It provides valuable insights by identifying the source of emails, tracking email volume, and managing DKIM and SPF records. The platform also offers suggestions to improve email deliverability. Moreover, I find it very easy to use for email deliverability purposes, including inboxing. It's also useful in knowing how many emails are being sent from which domain and through which ESP, like Google Workspace and Beehiiv. I highly recommend it because there is no other free alternative like it.

**What do you dislike about Valimail?**

I don't like that the pricing for Valimail isn't displayed on the website. Instead, you have to get in touch with the sales team to find out the prices.

**What problems is Valimail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Valimail for DMARC authentication and tracking email volume, helping manage multiple domains and newsletters. It identifies email sources, tracks DKIM and SPF failures, and suggests improvements for delivery, making it invaluable for domain insight and email deliverability.

**Official Response from Al Iverson:**

> Thank you kindly for your review and feedback!

 ### 18. In-Depth Email Insights with Clear Recommendations and Great Free Value

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Meghan M. | Communication Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Valimail?**

It gives me in-depth, behind-the-scenes email details that I couldn’t possibly know otherwise, along with a really clear UX and straightforward, easy-to-follow recommendations for fixing issues. Setup was smooth: connecting it to my domain manager was simple, and I didn’t need a subscription to cover the essentials or to earn those beloved green “Excellent” labels. I don’t check it very often, but it’s clearly doing its job quietly in the background. I haven’t looked into the cost of upgrading yet, but even on the free account it still feels like great value for money. When I get the time, I’ll probably reach out to support so I can get my clients set up too. I’m really glad Mailchimp recommended this product.

**What do you dislike about Valimail?**

Would be good if the Domain Report Card had links through to apply fixes, where required.

**What problems is Valimail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ensuring that my email is configured for optimum performance and security.

 ### 19. Simple Modern Email Security with Ease

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam S. | Senior M365/Cloud Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Valimail?**

It simplifies what was once a specialised area of email security

**What do you dislike about Valimail?**

When working with extremely large enterprises, the UI sometimes doesn’t perform as well as I’d like. That said, this feels more like a limitation of it being a web app, since most web apps tend to behave in a similar way.

**What problems is Valimail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Valimail is our all-in-one tool for monitoring DMARC and DKIM status across hundreds of our domains. These records are no longer managed across multiple domain registrars or muddled in with other DNS records, which lets us focus completely on email security. The visibility into how everything is working, along with the ongoing monitoring, has never been better.

 ### 20. Efficient, Centralized Email Authentication Management with Valimail

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nagaraju N. | Senior CyberSecurity Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Valimail?**

Valimail provides an efficient, centralized way to manage email authentication across the organization. It helps maintain and monitor SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records, reducing the risk of domain spoofing and phishing attacks by ensuring only authorized methods are allowed. Overall, it feels highly manageable and straightforward to oversee.

**What do you dislike about Valimail?**

Troubleshooting authentication failures requiring additional investigation and few DKIM configuration issues (this is occasional)

**What problems is Valimail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solving especially our Authentication & Domain spoofing challenges - simplifying records of SPF, DKIM and DMARC across our group of domains. giving visibility into authorized & unauthorized email senders (specially helping Phishing attack preventions. This indirectly benefitting my Organization brand reputation and trust within our customers.

 ### 21. Top-Notch Domain Reporting with Detailed, Exportable Insights

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Management Consulting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Valimail?**

The reports are excellent. They are detailed and comprehensive, making it easy to find the information you need about your statistics. I can't think of any downsides.
You can easily review historical data, export reports to CSV, analyze IP addresses, examine mail forwarders, and identify known, unknown, and potential senders. These features are extremely useful when troubleshooting email-related issues. Overall, it is a top-notch reporting service for your domain.

**What do you dislike about Valimail?**

The pricing can be a bit expensive if you have a large number of domains to monitor.

**What problems is Valimail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The service provides a single pane of glass for our organization and helps us quickly identify threats or false-positive spam events, which can sometimes be very difficult to distinguish.

We were struggling with sophisticated BEC attacks, and these reports provide much greater confidence. A single view can immediately tell you whether an email is legitimate or potentially malicious.

 ### 22. Easy Setup and Helpful DMARC Visibility for Small Teams

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Valimail?**

The free tier was easy to set up and connect to our domain, with no disruption to our existing email. It provides useful DMARC visibility without requiring much ongoing maintenance, which is helpful for a small organization with limited technical resources.

**What do you dislike about Valimail?**

After the initial setup, the free tier is fairly passive. I have not received regular email summaries or alerts, so it is easy to forget about unless I sign in and review the dashboard manually. More proactive reporting would make the ongoing value clearer for small organizations.

**What problems is Valimail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Valimail helps identify which services are using our domain and whether they pass SPF, DKIM and DMARC checks. This supports deliverability and helps detect misconfigured or unauthorized senders that could spoof the domain. On the free tier, the benefit has mainly been having that monitoring in place rather than using it actively day to day.

 ### 23. Quick and easy: get started immediately with one DNS adjustment

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erik L. | Eigenaar, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Valimail?**

It works quickly and easily, and one small adjustment in the DNS is enough. It is not the cheapest solution on the market, but also not expensive. I did the onboarding through pax8, which was very good, so I can't say how they do it themselves.

**What do you dislike about Valimail?**

the way they manage the subclients is somewhat cumbersome, it seems they have added an extra field in their system that I can link to the domains and then use this for my clients, there isn't really any client management in it.

**What problems is Valimail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps with the security of my clients' domains

 ### 24. Validmail Adds Confidence and Security

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Celso P. | Funder and CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Valimail?**

We live in a world full of malice and ill-intentioned people. Validmail provides extra confidence and security.

**What do you dislike about Valimail?**

Although there is a free plan, you have to get in touch to find out the prices for the paid plans. I find that unnecessary.

**What problems is Valimail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Valimail solves the problem of protecting my organization's email domain from spoofing and phishing attacks by ensuring that only authorized senders can send emails on behalf of my domain.

Two key advantages are:
It strengthens my organization's cybersecurity and protects our brand reputation.
It improves email deliverability, ensuring legitimate business emails are more likely to reach recipients' inboxes.

**Official Response from Al Iverson:**

> Thank you very much for taking the time to leave us a review. I appreciate it! I'll be sure to pass your feedback along about visible pricing.

 ### 25. Valimail Simplifies SPF Limits and Brings Clear Mail Traffic Insights

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steven H. | Cyber Security Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Valimail?**

Valimail simplifies and adds capabilities that are often bottlenecks with standard MX setups. SPF, for example, can become a problem since it only allows a certain number of entries, and Valimail lets you work around that limitation. Beyond that, it also helps you keep track of your mail traffic using different metrics.

**What do you dislike about Valimail?**

There can be a bit of a learning curve with Valimail, especially if you’re used to working strictly with vanilla mail resources.

**What problems is Valimail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Valimail helps shine a light on potential traffic issues and configuration missteps, and it also lets you strengthen your DKIM, DMARC, and SPF setup.

 ### 26. Centralized DMARC/SPF Management That Saves Time

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Valimail?**

Managing DMARC/SPF from one central location makes it much easier to see who’s aligned and who still needs attention. Being able to automatically have Valimail handle enforcement is also a huge time-saver.

**What do you dislike about Valimail?**

The dashboards and reporting can make it difficult to drill down in certain cases. For example, when I look at the failing forwarders, I can see the sender, but there’s no additional information. I’d like to be able to see more detail about which emails were failing and what specifically went wrong.

**What problems is Valimail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping track of email deliverability can be difficult, so we’ve integrated this tool into our business stack as a core part of what we deliver as an MSP. Deliverability issues can be a major challenge, and Valimail has become a reliable, fast way for us to manage and maintain these settings.

**Official Response from Al Iverson:**

> Thank you very much for your review and feedback! I'll be sure to pass this along to our product team.

 ### 27. Great for Small-Scale DMARC Compliance

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pete M. | Owner Operator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Valimail?**

I like that Valimail has a free tier, it's easy to use, and the UI is nice on the eyes. It allows small users like myself to be DMARC compliant and gain some security. The setup was super simple, and I was compliant within about an hour. I even set up Single sign on.

**What do you dislike about Valimail?**

Nothing really comes to mind. It does what it says it does.

**What problems is Valimail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Valimail for DMARC compliance; it's easy to use and has a free tier, making security accessible for small users.

**Official Response from Al Iverson:**

> Thanks very much for your review and feedback!

 ### 28. Intuitive DMARC Reporting Control with Seamless Team Collaboration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maciej K. | IT Security Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Valimail?**

Solution allows for easy control over DMARC reporting. User interface is intuitive, data is correctly updated, and collaboration with team members is possible - even with free version of the product.

**What do you dislike about Valimail?**

As for free version that I use, the biggest disadvantage is lack of subdomain monitoring and limited visibility of DMARC report statistics.

**What problems is Valimail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves email security monitoring for the whole company, including detection of "shadow IT" SPF and DKIM records. Valimail reports work well with different email providers, such as Microsoft, AWS, Mailgun.

 ### 29. Valimail: A Game-Changer in Email Protection

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Varun S. | Head Digital, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Valimail?**

We’ve been using Valimail for about six months, mainly for its DMARC management and email authentication services. The user interface is remarkably intuitive, and it made the setup process a breeze—even for someone who isn’t deeply technical. I was especially impressed by how effective the email authentication system has been; it noticeably reduced phishing attempts and helped improve our email deliverability.

**What do you dislike about Valimail?**

Cost of service is a bit high. Also, reading reports can be overwhelming.

**What problems is Valimail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Implementing DMARC on our outgoing emails.

 ### 30. Easy Setup, Seamless “Set It and Forget It” DMARC

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Heather C. | Content Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Valimail?**

It was really easy to set up as a non-technical person. Very straightforward to the lay person. It's been running seamlessly ever since with no issues. A true set it and forget solution.

**What do you dislike about Valimail?**

No downside to the free version with dmarc monitoring, but I do remember it taking longer than expected to become active. Only by a couple days though.

**What problems is Valimail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's improved email deliverability on a 3rd party software we use daily. Hopefully it's preventing spoofing as well!

 ### 31. Excellent Email Security Solution with Generous Free Tier

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Valimail?**

I like that you can do quite a lot on the free tier with Valimail, which is pretty great. Valimail does exactly what we needed it to do, and the free tier feature where you can check which senders you have is quite helpful. It's great for identifying senders you're not aware of, for example, if you've got shadow IT. Setting it up was also easy; all we needed was to set an email address for reports and authenticate our domain.

**What do you dislike about Valimail?**

Not much, really. Just the pricing to move from the free tier up. It is only economical for small businesses. Yes. Allow for small companies. Instead of going straight to enterprise mode.

**What problems is Valimail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Valimail for email deliverability, ensuring our DMARC, SPF, and DKIM are set up. It helps by preventing the need for multiple report requests and offers valuable features on the free tier, like identifying unknown senders.

 ### 32. Simplifies DMARC Enforcement with Exceptional Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Valimail?**

I love how Valimail simplifies the DMARC enforcement and reporting process, making it easy to understand if there are risks to domain spoofing. I also appreciate working with the team behind Valimail; they are extremely collaborative and a pleasure to work with. The DMARC reporting is extremely helpful both internally and as a referral tool for customers due to the low barrier of entry with their free reporting tool. The initial setup was very easy, with straightforward documentation, and amazing support from the team.

**What do you dislike about Valimail?**

I think there's more that needs to be done around enablement and simplifying a very complex technical area of understanding for brand new customers to this concept. The onboarding for new customers into Valimail could be much more simplified, providing more context on why it's important.

**What problems is Valimail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find that Valimail simplifies DMARC enforcement and reporting, once the concepts of DMARC are understood, making it easy to understand risks like domain spoofing or phishing. They surface data that's usually confusing, provide a low barrier to entry with free reporting, and help manage DNS efficiently.

 ### 33. An easy, fast, and secure tool for full DMARC Enforcement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Billy B. | Analista Sr de Seguridad de la Información, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Valimail?**

What I like most about Valimail is how much it simplifies email authentication — managing DMARC, SPF, and DKIM used to be a headache, but the setup process felt intuitive from the start.

**What do you dislike about Valimail?**

The reporting dashboard could be clearer for new users — it took a bit of time to get comfortable navigating the reports.

**What problems is Valimail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It stops email spoofing and helps implement the correct configurations for SPF and DKIM alignment. Increases trust and reputation.

**Official Response from Al Iverson:**

> Thanks very much for your review and feedback!

 ### 34. I use for basic monitoring of my clients' email services and my own domains

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pavel B. | ITC manager, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Valimail?**

Fast, easy to use, and works well even in FREE mode

**What do you dislike about Valimail?**

The interface is designed for enterprise environments. For managing fewer domains, it would be better to have the option to switch to a simpler view or environment.

**What problems is Valimail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Valimail helped us identify legitimate email senders and resolve SPF, DKIM, and DMARC issues across approximately 30 domains. We now use the free monitoring service to detect unexpected senders and configuration problems.

**Official Response from Al Iverson:**

> Thanks very much for your review and feedback!

 ### 35. Effortless Email Deliverability Assurance

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Valimail?**

I love how easy it is to set up Valimail with their step-by-step instructions and clear guides. It's great for verifying email deliverability and checking for spam scores. I really appreciate the feature that gives me email addresses for sending test verifications to ensure nothing in our systems causes spam flagging. I'm able to see scores and any potential issues with email deliverability, which helps us ensure proper configuration and settings. It allows us to identify if there's an issue with specific addresses or our domain, preventing important emails from being missed by our clients and prospects.

**What do you dislike about Valimail?**

I have not run into anything about Valimail that I dislike

**What problems is Valimail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Valimail helps us avoid email spam issues by ensuring correct system configurations for deliverability. It provides test emails for verification, helping us identify potential issues with specific addresses or our domain, so critical emails don't get missed.

**Official Response from Al Iverson:**

> Thanks very much for your feedback. While we don't exactly show spam scoring, we do show authentication results and highlight when your emails might not be complying with current email sender requirements. It's always important to ensure compliance, else spam folder placement is sure to follow.

 ### 36. Effortless DMARC Monitoring for Sole Traders

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sam O. | Regional Property Management Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Valimail?**

I like that Valimail's setup is incredibly easy, requiring just one DNS TXT record. The Monitor tier works perfectly for my small domain, as there is no need for an agent, inbox connector, or any upfront sales call. Within days, I had aggregate DMARC reports without having to do any manual parsing or heavy lifting. I appreciate how I can point the rua at vali.email and quickly gain human-readable visibility, allowing me to make informed decisions from real data about my email policy rather than relying on guesswork. The process took under ten minutes, and Valimail effectively provides a standalone visibility layer over my existing DNS.

**What do you dislike about Valimail?**

The path from Monitor to the paid Authenticate or Enforce tiers is heavily gated by sales conversations. As a small domain owner, I would rather self-serve into the next tier with transparent pricing. The dashboard also feels overbuilt for a single-domain user; it is clearly designed for IT teams managing many domains.

**What problems is Valimail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Valimail for DMARC monitoring, solving visibility issues in email sources without parsing XML myself. It offers easy setup and a usable free tier, enabling me to make data-driven email policy decisions without the need to build my own infrastructure.

**Official Response from Al Iverson:**

> Thanks very much for your thoughts and feedback! We are indeed working on making it easier for single-domain users to self-serve their way to enforcement. Stay tuned!

 ### 37. Frustrating Setup, Poor Support Drove Us Away

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Valimail?**

I wasn’t able to even try out value mail to set up process was frustrating. I know for a fact that current users of value Mill have not gone through the same issues even though value male stated it was industry standard. My assistant recommended value male because she has other business contacts that currently use value mail, and they even stated that the issues we were running into were nonexistent for them.

**What do you dislike about Valimail?**

Setting up Valimail was a major challenge, and there was no solution to the issues we faced. I don't like the customer service, the support, or the explanations provided. It was a horrible experience overall, leading us to switch back to Mailchimp, which didn't give us setup issues. Valimail claimed to be industry standard, but that wasn't the case. Multiple verification processes that kept us going in a loop. Emails not going out.

**What problems is Valimail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We weren't able to set up Valimail; we ran into challenges and didn't find solutions.

**Official Response from Al Iverson:**

> I am so sorry that you had a challenging experience with the setup and support. Your feedback is important to us, and I want to make sure that we do better in the future. If you'd like to share more details with me, I can be reached at al.iverson@valimail.com. I hope to hear from you.

 ### 38. Valimail Streamlines DMARC Management with Clear Dashboards and Smart Insights

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Chemicals | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Valimail?**

Using Valimail on a day‑to‑day basis has been a very smooth experience. The interface is intuitive and well structured, making it easy to move between domains, sending sources, and DMARC reporting without frustration. The dashboards are clear and focused, which helps quickly understand what is happening across our email environment and where attention is actually needed.
From an integration perspective, connecting Valimail to our existing email infrastructure was straightforward and worked reliably from the start. Once in place, it continuously collects and correlates DMARC data across multiple sources without requiring constant manual effort.
In terms of performance, the platform has proven to be stable and responsive, even when dealing with larger volumes of DMARC traffic and multiple sending services. Reports load quickly and the data is consistently reliable, which is essential when making authentication changes that can directly impact mail flow.
Setup and onboarding were smooth, supported by clear documentation and well‑structured guidance. When support is needed, responses are knowledgeable and focused on solving real problems rather than providing generic answers.
The automated insights and recommendations are one of the strongest aspects of Valimail. Highlighting misconfigurations, risky sending sources, and authentication gaps helps prioritise actions and reduces guesswork. Even without being overly “AI‑heavy,” these intelligent insights significantly shorten investigation time and make decision‑making more confident.
From a pricing and ROI standpoint, Valimail delivers strong value by reducing the operational effort required to manage DMARC and email authentication. The time saved on troubleshooting, combined with improved visibility and reduced risk of misconfiguration, makes the investment easy to justify. Overall, Valimail has streamlined our workflow and made managing email security far more efficient and sustainable on a daily basis.

**What do you dislike about Valimail?**

While Valimail is very powerful, some advanced features and reports can feel a bit overwhelming at first, especially for less experienced users. Pricing can be on the higher side for smaller teams, even though the value becomes clearer over time. Additionally, some of the AI‑driven insights could be made more transparent, with easier explanations on how recommendations are generated and prioritised.

**What problems is Valimail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Valimail, managing DMARC and keeping track of all legitimate sending sources across multiple domains was time‑consuming and error‑prone. It was difficult to quickly identify misconfigurations or understand the real impact of authentication issues. With Valimail, we now have clear visibility into our email ecosystem, can detect and fix problems faster, and confidently move toward stronger enforcement. This has reduced manual effort, improved security, and saved a significant amount of time in day‑to‑day email management.

**Official Response from Al Iverson:**

> Thanks very much for your thoughts and feedback.

 ### 39. Valimail Keeps Us Up to Date on DMARC and Domain Email Security

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mike R. | Managing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Valimail?**

Valimail keeps my company up to date on the latest information regarding email security like DMARK, SPF and associated security regarding incoming & outgoing emails.
It provides an automated method to check all mail to our domain.

**What do you dislike about Valimail?**

Can prove expensive for a large organisation.

**What problems is Valimail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Unwanted and potentially dangerous untrusted emails getting through to unwary staff. By check sender’s credentials it prevents this from happening

 ### 40. Valimail: Essential for Email Security and Confidence

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jasper M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Valimail?**

I like Valimail because it provides a good overview for analyzing DMARC reports, helping us understand where emails claiming to be from our organization are actually coming from. This gives us the confidence to limit what we approve as a valid sender. We've been able to move from a 'p=none' setting to a 'p=reject,' which is beneficial for us and our sender reputation. Valimail is very useful for DMARC reporting, and even on its free tier, it provides more useful information than other services I tried. The initial setup was pretty easy. Overall, I would rate it a 10 out of 10 for recommending it to others.

**What do you dislike about Valimail?**

I think some charts or download CSV options could be made available to all emails. Because what I'm seeing right now is I can only download a CSV for unidentified senders. I think it could be more intuitive.

**What problems is Valimail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Valimail to solve email deliverability problems. It provides a good overview of DMARC reports, helping us understand where emails are coming from and manage sender approvals, moving us from 'p=none' to 'p=reject', which is very beneficial.

**Official Response from Al Iverson:**

> Thanks very much for your feedback. We appreciate it!

 ### 41. Free, set-and-forget DMARC monitoring

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Valimail?**

Monitor turns DMARC aggregate reports (which arrive as unreadable XML) into a dashboard that names my actual sending services and shows whether each is passing authentication. Setup was a simple one-time DNS change, I use the free Monitor tier and it works well for me.

**What do you dislike about Valimail?**

The dashboard in the free tier provides visibility only. The data also lags a day or so behind, which is fine for monitoring, but it's not real-time.

**What problems is Valimail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Valimail confirms my messages authenticate properly (so they don't land in spam) and that anyone spoofing my domain gets blocked - with basically zero ongoing effort.

 ### 42. Effortless DMARC Management with Quick Setup

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dan T. | IT Support Technician, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2024

**What do you like best about Valimail?**

I really like the ease of setup with Valimail. You can get DMARC running in less than 15 minutes, and no other solution provides DMARC remediation as quickly. Plus, the brand recognition makes it easy to sell to our clients.

**What do you dislike about Valimail?**

I wish Valimail had more advanced management tools for DMARC. A GUI that lets you control and finetune DMARC and its advanced parameters would be really helpful.

**What problems is Valimail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Valimail solves our DMARC management issues quickly and easily, which is a selling point for clients. However, it lacks advanced tools and a GUI for more control and finetuning.

**Official Response from Al Iverson:**

> We're thrilled to hear that you found our DMARC setup experience to be a breeze! Thank you for sharing your positive experience with Valimail.

**Reviewed by:** John W. | Cloud Security Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Valimail?**

I appreciate the vast number of services supported for easy SPF onboarding

**What do you dislike about Valimail?**

I wish that the onboarding for SPF didn't require you to remove existing SPF information for the record to show as valid in their portal.

**What problems is Valimail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the complexity of onboarding DMARC, especially when you have many domains sending mail. Benefits us a lot with administrative overhead

 ### 45. Efficient DMARC Validation with Great Visibility

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Valimail?**

I appreciate Valimail for helping us implement DKIM and DMARC for multiple sending emails and providing great visibility into platforms trying to send as us. The free tier is absolutely amazing. I love that it allows me to manage over 13 email sending domains in one portal, so I don't need to log in and out of multiple accounts and remember where all the information is. The setup process was super easy, which made transitioning from URIports very smooth. For what I use, Valimail is perfect.

**What do you dislike about Valimail?**

It is perfect for what I use it for

**What problems is Valimail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Valimail for DMARC validation, helping implement DKIM and DMARC for multiple emails with visibility into platforms sending as us. It consolidates our 13 domains in one portal, so I don't need to log into multiple accounts.

 ### 46. Valimail Makes Setup and Daily Use Effortless

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew P. | Senior Microsoft Platform Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Valimail?**

Valimail is so easy to get started with setup and use.

**What do you dislike about Valimail?**

Because Valimail is so powerful, the features we really want are shown to us in the free account, but gated off for use. Understandable to build interest in a product.

**What problems is Valimail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Valimail has opened our eyes to sender sources for our domains, helping us better tighten down security.

**Official Response from Al Iverson:**

> Thanks very much for your review!

 ### 47. Easy Setup and Clear Reporting That Simplify Complex Processes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** JJ F. | Director of Information Technology, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Valimail?**

Reporting is very easy to understand. Setup is a breeze. Helped simplify a complicated process.

**What do you dislike about Valimail?**

I suppose if I had to dislike something it's the navigation between tools and understanding which ones are included in free and paid plans, though there has been a lot of improvement on that front.

**What problems is Valimail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dmarc/dkim and spf reporting and email deliverability reporting.

**Official Response from Al Iverson:**

> Thanks very much for your review!

 ### 48. Simple Email Domain Monitoring That Just Works

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Valimail?**

I like the simplicity of setup for monitoring my email domains. There's other products out there but this has been one that I set and forget because it just works.

**What do you dislike about Valimail?**

I wish pricing was more available but it could've improved since the last time I checked. There's not much to dislike about the product.

**What problems is Valimail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Visibility is a big area especially when it comes to email security, so much gets setup to get things working and then never improved upon. This helps catch things setup within your environment that you might not be aware of.

 ### 49. Effortless Email Compliance with Valimail

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Valimail?**

I like Valimail because it's easy to set up, which was a big help since I don't have an IT background. The interface is clear, and even without deep technical skills, I was able to set everything up myself. Also, it's free for basic needs, which is perfect for what I require. It effectively ensures that emails from my company's domain aren't marked as spam and safeguards against spoofing, which is crucial for my business.

**What do you dislike about Valimail?**

As I use it for basic needs, didn't notice anything negative.

**What problems is Valimail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Valimail for DMARC, DKIM, and SPF compliance, ensuring emails aren't marked as spam and protecting our domain from spoofing. It's easy to set up and free for basic needs. The interface is clear, allowing me to manage it without an IT background.

 ### 50. Valimail Made DMARC Setup Simple and Stress-Free

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Arts and Crafts | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Valimail?**

I used Valimail primarily during the initial setup of DMARC for my business domains. It made a process that can be pretty confusing (SPF/DKIM/DMARC records, alignment, reporting) much more approachable than doing it manually. I haven't used it extensively beyond that initial setup, so I can't speak to the full range of ongoing monitoring features, but for getting email authentication configured correctly the first time, it did the job well.

**What do you dislike about Valimail?**

I can't think of any downsides to using this service

**What problems is Valimail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Setting up DMARC to allow email not to end up in spam

**Official Response from Al Iverson:**

> Thank you kindly for your review -- glad we're able to help you protect your business domains against phishing and spoofing.
