"The Best Alternative to Google Analytics"
5/5
What do you like best about Usermaven?

Usermaven is a great alternative to Google Analytics. It provides a real-time view of website traffic metrics, all while being cookie-free and fully compliant with GDPR, CCPA, and PECR. The simple dashboard is easy to use and provides all the necessary metrics for making informed business decisions, all on a single page. The auto-capture technology automatically tracks important actions on the website, making it easy to track conversions on simple goals like button clicks, link clicks, and form submissions without writing any extra code. Additionally, Usermaven doesn't use any tracking cookies or store personally identifiable information, so there's no need for annoying cookie consent banners on the website. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Usermaven?

One downside of Usermaven is that it doesn't have as many reporting features as some other analytics tools. However, the team is constantly working on adding new features, so this may change in the future. Additionally, while the lightweight script loads faster than Google Analytics, there may still be some impact on website speed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The absolute best Google Analytics Alternative Hands Down!"
5/5
What do you like best about Usermaven?

Usermaven really knocks it out of the park on a bunch of fronts. Here's a quick rundown of what makes me dig it:

Usermaven isn't just a one-trick pony. It's packed with loads of cool features designed for marketing and product folks, like you and me. Think better website and product insights - kind of giving GA4 and Mixpanel a run for their money.

Very important to me and of course many other users is that Usermaven's got your back when it comes to customer support. They put their users first, always ready to lend a hand with any questions or worries you might have. Quick and useful answers? You bet - that's part of the great experience they deliver.

One of the standout features of Usermaven I think is its simplicity and user-friendly interface. This actually rivals almost any competitor out there. It requires no technical expertise, allowing marketers and product people to easily navigate and utilize the platform without relying on developers. This ease of use is a major advantage, making it accessible to a wider audience.

But hey, here's the kicker: Usermaven doesn't just look good. It automatically tracks events and gives you deep insights, no sweat. For marketers and product folks, it's like having a secret weapon for making smart decisions daily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Usermaven?

Usermaven is a relatively new analytics tool compared to Google Analytics, which means it may not have the same level of maturity and robustness in terms of features and functionalities. It also might have a smaller user base compared to Google Analytics, which could result in limited community support and fewer resources available for troubleshooting and learning.

Also, and quite an unattractive thing, it may not integrate with as many third-party platforms and services as Google Analytics, limiting its compatibility and potential for data consolidation.

Not for me, but for not so technical people, it might have a steeper learning curve due to its unique interface and terminology, especially for users who are already familiar with Google Analytics.

Though Usermaven has its perks, it might not match Google Analytics when it comes to digging deep into data and pulling out complex insights. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Usermaven came as a blessing when GA4 was forced on to us!"

What do you like best about Usermaven?

Simplicity! I can click on a specific user and see how they discovered our site and their visit activity. It is also easy to implement on different platforms. I once had an issue with integrating with Next.js, but the customer support team quickly made changes to their docs to help me out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Usermaven?

Does not currently offer API to access traffic information. Must needed! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Google Analytics who?"
5/5
What do you like best about Usermaven?

Usermaven is everything all the other site analytic platforms wish they could be. Very nice and easy to read and navigate UI and awesome granular data. This sounds like a puff review but the reality is that I have used at least 8 different analytics platforms and nothing has helped me as much as Usermaven. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Usermaven?

My only "dislikes" are either things Usermaven is not going for OR things it has on the roadmap. Userjourneys would be awesome, and is in beta. SEO stuff would be cool, but really would be mission creep at this point in time. So no real dislike, but yeah over time they could do even more I guess. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A tool that all small business owners have been crying out for since forever"
5/5
What do you like best about Usermaven?

The biggest turn off for people who are not tech-savvy to use Google Analytics is that it's super overwhelming, and comes with little hand-holding. We managed to get our account on Usermaven set up and running in a little less than 30 minutes.

Most things have been easy to understand, and "Funnels" for tracking has been the one thing we love the most on Usermaven. It didn't take us ages like it did on GA, and making changes were just as easy.

As a small business owner, I cannot tell you enough on how most of us would struggle to do any kind of analytics. This is our go-to solution to learn more about our website traffic, and how we can leverage those data to further optimize & improve conversion rate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Usermaven?

I would really love it if Usermaven could provide a few specific templates/set up for different types of businesses. E.g. If it's an ecom business, these metrics would turn on automatically. If it's a SaaS, then highlight these other metrics.

Right now we still need to set things up manually (still a lot easier than GA) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Usermaven is shaping up to be the best alternative to GA4"
5/5
What do you like best about Usermaven?

When our team tested it early this year, there were many features that didn't really stand out from the competition, but we were really intrigued by their "Pixel Whitelabel" feature as it assists Adblockers to whitelist the tracker, giving us more accurate data. Fast forward a few months, we've seen tremendous growth as far as features are concerned and we exclusively use Usermaven for tracking now (before that we were using a couple in tandem to ensure all our reports were accurate). We love that the dashboard is not cluttered and all the important metrics are very easy to read, and my favourite part is the sheer speed of navigating through the platform- there is absolutely no lag between pages. My team tells me they love that we can exclude our own IP, customize which events/metrics are important, and basically build a funnel tracker right in the Usermaven dashboard. The beauty of it is we can make it as simple or as complex as we want, depending on our needs. It's not like most other analytic tools that require a complex and thorough deployment even for a simple use-case. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Usermaven?

There aren't many bad things to dislike about Usermaven but we would love for their Wordpress Plugin to be more comprehensive and for them to build more ecommerce tracking features. From what I've seen on their public roadmap, I believe they are in the midst of building those features so I guess we'll just have to wait and see. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great and straightforward analytics tool, no complications when you start using it."
4/5
What do you like best about Usermaven?

Usermaven seems to be a nice analytics tool, offering capabilities in both web and product tracking (like for SaaS products). I use it for small informational websites for clients. Currently, I am testing custom events to get more insights for data-driven decisions. The tool is under active development, and I'm curious what happens in the next months. The integrations with Google Search Console, Stripe, and Paddle enhance its functionality, making it an excellent choice for sites selling with these platforms. I'm excited to see how it evolves and the additional insights it can provide to my customers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Usermaven?

It seems for now there is no way to regularly get your data out, like for storing it in my data warehouse / process it with BigQuery. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A clear winner in Tracking and Attribution from a team that runs multiple SaaS companies!"
5/5
What do you like best about Usermaven?

I like that all the data is very easy to read and understand for the day-to-day digital marketer who needs to come in quickly to log stats for their website(s). I think that the utm, attribution, and conversions are very easy to setup. The best part is that can create a unique analytics script so you don't have to worry about being blocked when using the other competitors. This tool is also created from the ground up it appears and from a team that runs multiple SaaS companies and used this tool to track their sales, too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Usermaven?

I don't have anything bad to say about this product. So I can use this space to also rave that they are always bringing new updates, and updating their users via their newsletter and fb groups. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
