"UPDF: Fast, Affordable, and Seamlessly Consistent Across Devices!"
5/5
What do you like best about UPDF?

UPDF is the perfect solution to every single user's PDF needs. From the most basic PDF editing and document organization, to advanced signing, Cloud based needs, and creating forms for clients to fill out. I love UPDF, and I'm so happy it exists at such an affordable price so I don't have to buy any Adobe products. The best feature by far is its cross compatibility- it has the same look across every device, Windows, Phone, Mac, etc. It's clean, lightning fast (Unlike Adobe!) and has always worked great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about UPDF?

There are very few things to dislike about UPDF, I can't think of any really, but a small one would be the AI integration. I would personally like it to be an on/off switch, as well as opting in to use their cloud storage. With Cloud storage being a native option to devices, Mac (iCloud), iPhones (iCloud) Windows, Android etc etc- it seems unnecessary to have files one more place. We're thrilled to hear that UPDF has been such a valuable tool for your PDF needs! We appreciate your feedback on the AI integration and cloud storage, and we'll take that into consideration for future updates.

"Fast, Easy-to-Use PDF Tool with a Perpetual License"
5/5
What do you like best about UPDF?

A complete, easy-to-use PDF tool with a perpetual license

What I love most about UPDF is how simple it makes working with PDFs. It loads quickly, the interface is easy to navigate, and having my recent files on the opening screen makes it convenient to pick up where I left off. It’s easy to find what I need without spending time searching through menus.

It also has the features I need in one place. I can add, replace, or delete pages, save the result as a new PDF, and sign documents. Cloud storage is another useful option, and AI features are available as a separate purchase.

The biggest selling point for me was the option to buy a perpetual license. I really appreciate being able to purchase the software outright instead of adding another recurring subscription. That was an important factor in my decision, and I’ve been very happy with the purchase.

Overall, UPDF feels like a complete PDF tool that’s still approachable and pleasant to use. It’s fast, practical, and well worth what I paid. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about UPDF?

That extra feature uses subscriptions. That's all. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Modern, Affordable PDF Suite for macOS with Smooth Office Conversion and Top-Notch Support"
5/5
What do you like best about UPDF?

I think it's been two years already since I got UPDF. I needed an alternative to a well-known giant quite urgently. My environment is macOS.

UI wise it's been great. There was a learning curve not because it is steep but because I was used to a different platform, meaning, the learning curve was friendly and achievable in a few consistent working sessions. In terms of design and appealing, it is quite modern. I must add here that UPDF's 'Resources' section online, has been instrumental in getting to know around the app.

Integrations wise, I've only used their flawless conversion to the Microsoft Office suite, meaning I can convert from UPDF to Powerpoint, Excel and Word quite easily. Similarly, I've use the integration with my cloud storage provider, which is equally smooth.

As for performance, I have nothing to object. I started using UPDF in 2024, and since then, yes some features have been under development and fine tuned, but after a few updates if not only one, those features get perfected. It doesn't consume much resources as checked with Activity Monitor.

With regards to pricing, it is affordable, and I can say especially now for such a complete PDF suite, that I am getting my money's worth. At the current price tag I would not hesitate to stick with UPDF as my only PDF suite.

Customer support has been great. About two years ago when I move to UPDF obtaining my signature from a photo file was not possible. I express the need for it, and within a few updates it was available. Their email response has been prompt.

As for AI Intelligence, I only have the default options, such as setting a password or compressing the file, meaning, predetermine functions. They are very helpful in the sense of it saves me time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about UPDF?

I wish more predetermined AI features could be made available in the PRO version, such as inserting a signature. Beyond this, there's nothing I dislike. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We're thrilled to hear that you've had a positive experience with UPDF, especially with the user-friendly UI, smooth integrations, and responsive customer support. "Systematic, Efficient Article Reading with Helpful Translations and Explanations"
4/5
What do you like best about UPDF?

It helps me read articles more systematically and efficiently. I can translate words I don’t understand, and I can ask it to explain things when I can’t understand a sentence. It’s especially helpful when I have a lot of articles to get through. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about UPDF?

The AI package is not included with the PDF package. I understand the company needs to earn money to support development, but as a PDF software, adding a watermark when a user has subscribed to the AI package but not the PDF package feels unnecessary. It’s also sometimes annoying to keep seeing the pop-up, and the watermark can block words in the article. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Marketing UPDF of UPDF

We're glad to hear that UPDF is helping you read articles more systematically and efficiently, and that the translation and explanation features are especially useful for your research.

"This program is perfect for PDF management"

What do you like best about UPDF?

A revolution in PDF management: modern, fast, and incredibly versatile!

If you're looking for a powerful, intuitive, and modern alternative to traditional PDF editors like Adobe Acrobat, UPDF is a true gem. I use it daily for both work and personal projects, and it has completely transformed the way I manage digital documents.

First and foremost, the user interface is extraordinarily elegant and intuitive. Unlike other tools cluttered with elements, UPDF offers a clean and visual design that greatly facilitates navigation through extensive documents. Everything is right where you need it, whether you're editing text, adjusting images, or reorganizing pages.

Highlighted features:

Smooth editing: Editing text and images directly in a PDF is as simple as using a conventional word processor. Font matching is exact, and image management is fast and precise.

Powerful annotation tools: Adding marks to documents with highlighters, sticky notes, text boxes, and custom stamps is a quick, sharp, and clean process.

Integrated AI assistant: The built-in AI functions are incredible. Summarizing 50-page reports, translating complex texts into other languages, or asking questions about the content of a document takes just a few seconds.

Cross-platform and great value: A single license covers both the desktop version (Windows/Mac) and the mobile version (iOS/Android), allowing you to switch devices seamlessly and at a very affordable price.

The performance is impeccable: it opens heavy documents instantly, without delays or crashes. UPDF strikes the perfect balance between advanced features and total simplicity. I highly recommend it to students, professionals, and anyone who regularly works with PDF files! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"For everyone who was let down by windows capabilities to handle basic tasks"
4/5
What do you like best about UPDF?

UPDF comes with a lot of features that improve my daily workflow and also provides some powerful tools. To convert handwriting to searchable text (you can also create an invisible layer of text in order to search through it while still having the handwritten original) saved me hours! The UI is good looking and intuitive. I bought UPDF out of frustration that windows is lacking fundamental features like exporting to various file types or managing digital signatures. UPDF solved this and I would choose so again. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about UPDF?

It is important to keep in mind that it is not meant or suited to replace a word kind of software. Even though it might have the potential to be improved this way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Marketing UPDF of UPDF

We're thrilled to hear that UPDF has improved your daily workflow and provided powerful tools for your needs. Our goal is to make tasks like converting handwriting to searchable text and managing digital signatures easier for our users.

"Instant and Complete PDF Editing: Write, Crop, Fill Forms, and Sign"
4/5
What do you like best about UPDF?

The ability to instantly edit PDFs, write, crop pages, remove passwords from my documents, fill forms, and sign. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about UPDF?

I think the arrangement of tools throughout the software could be improved. Some things still need to be more intuitive, especially the editing tools. There should be a tutorial when using it for the first time, something like that. The selection tool could also be improved... often in a form I want to fill a box and the tool is not smart enough to understand that, I have to keep "fighting" with the mouse until it identifies the right editing box. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We're glad to hear that you find UPDF helpful in your operational routines involving financial investments. We appreciate your feedback about the arrangement of tools and the selection tool, and we will take it into consideration for future improvements.

"Practical PDF Tool for Project Documentation"
4.5/5
What do you like best about UPDF?

I mainly use UPDF when I need to review engineering PDFs and make quick changes before sharing them with the team. I regularly highlight important points, add comments, insert notes, and combine pages from different documents into one review file. The page organization tools are especially useful when I receive separate specifications and supporting documents and need to put them together for a review.

The interface was easy for me to understand because the main editing and annotation tools are easy to find. OCR is also useful when I receive scanned documents that I need to search or copy information from. I haven’t needed much training to use the basic features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about UPDF?

Some of the less frequently used tools are not immediately obvious, so I had to spend some time finding them. I also notice that larger PDFs can take a little longer to load or scroll through. I would prefer a simpler way to discover advanced tools without having to look through several menus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Marketing UPDF of UPDF

We're glad to hear that UPDF has been helpful for reviewing engineering PDFs and making quick changes. Our page organization tools and OCR feature are designed to make document preparation easier for our users.

"Excellent software, a breakthrough for team collaboration!"
5/5
What do you like best about UPDF?

My experience:

I had a fantastic experience using UPDF because it strikes the right balance between a lightweight interface and genuinely powerful capabilities. Onboarding and support were both very smooth, and the UI/UX is so intuitive that I had virtually no learning curve. The available resources also made it easy to get started right away.

I regularly rely on its direct text and image editing tools, and the drag-and-drop page management alone saves me hours of tedious work each week. Performance-wise, the software feels exceptionally fast and has eliminated the lag I used to deal with in more bloated programs. I also appreciate the seamless integration with cloud services, which lets me sync documents across my devices effortlessly and fits neatly into my day-to-day digital workflow.

The most unexpected benefit, though, has been the built-in AI intelligence. Being able to instantly summarize long PDF reports, translate paragraphs, and ask questions directly within the document—without jumping to external tools—has been a major productivity boost.

Conclusion:

Overall, I’m completely satisfied with the software’s performance and reliability. It goes well beyond basic PDF viewing by offering a complete, AI-powered editing suite at a fraction of the cost of legacy industry standards. Between the exceptional price and ROI, the flawless onboarding experience, and how much it has sped up my document review process, it’s an easy choice for me to recommend. I would absolutely make this purchase again. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about UPDF?

While UPDF is an outstanding tool overall, there are a couple of small areas that could be polished. The advanced AI document-chat features can occasionally take a few extra seconds to respond when processing very large, multi-hundred-page files. Also, although the UI is clean and modern, it would be even stronger with a few more advanced batch-processing customization options, for example, the ability to apply customized watermarking presets across hundreds of files at once. These are minor points in what is otherwise an excellent software experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great Value and Works Well—A Cost-Effective Alternative to Adobe"
5/5
What do you like best about UPDF?

The price is great, the tool works well, and it’s way better than Adobe - at about 1/100th of the long-term cost. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about UPDF?

The UI is a bit goofy to get used to, but it is fine after you get used to it. I know this is super minor, but I hate the icon - for some reason it reminds me of a different app and makes it hard to find. It is in no way a reason for me to stop using it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Marketing UPDF of UPDF

We're glad to hear that you find UPDF to be a cost-effective alternative to Adobe and that it works well for your needs. We appreciate your feedback about the UI and the icon, and we'll take it into consideration for future improvements.
