It can be used for learning Linux and Bash scripting. And Ubuntu 14 is present on the cloud marketplace, making it the best software OS for quickly creating server instances. **What do you dislike about Ubuntu 14 (Ubuntu 14.04 LTS)?** My dislike about the Ubuntu 14.04 LTS is that it has many vulnerabilities as of today. And most of the vulnerability exploits are publicly available to everyone. That's the only thing lacking in Ubuntu 14.04, those vulnerabilities are fixed in the latest versions. **What problems is Ubuntu 14 (Ubuntu 14.04 LTS) solving and how is that benefiting you?** One business problem that Ubuntu 14.04 LTS solved is that it lets us customize our environment. My favorite part in customizing is the terminal, that's my favorite part as a cybersecurity researcher. It's easy to use only if you know the Linux environment and CLI. ### 2. It's a very stable LTS for old version or appliances. Since this is quite a mature OS, it was very easy to migrate from legacy OS to Ubuntu 14 OS that supported compatibility with other software as well. ### 4. Slight improvements in its ambience is noticeable when I work in its application window. It supports automatic type ahead search which gives me more accessibility to various user directory identification. **What do you dislike about Ubuntu 14 (Ubuntu 14.04 LTS)?** Its platform is lackluster and not much attractively designed. If it enables more custom UX designs means we will be able to sophisticate our environment visualization in a more appealing manner. **What problems is Ubuntu 14 (Ubuntu 14.04 LTS) solving and how is that benefiting you?** Ubuntu 14 enables the utilization of TRIM SSD in our Amazon Web Service platform. This ensures that we are able to clean the blob which is no longer in use and can be cleaned within our subsystem. It has improved hardware detection, which solves issues related to volume attachment, and it has a specific repository for possessing our latest application build packages. ### 10. Freely available for download. Ubuntu community support and documentation are fantastic. Paid operating systems Like MS-Windows licensing is very complex and their compliances torcher the customers. Increasing hardware upgrading costs is also a challenge for the schools with discounted fees. Ubuntu 14.4 is a good choice for schools and colleges. **What do you dislike about Ubuntu 14 (Ubuntu 14.04 LTS)?** Ubuntu 14.04 LTS GUI looks unmatured. It needs to be improved. **What problems is Ubuntu 14 (Ubuntu 14.04 LTS) solving and how is that benefiting you?** We got rid of Microsoft's black mailing calls. It fulfilled all our requirements of operating system. We migrated all servers and labs to Ubuntu 14.04LTS in 2015.
