What stands out for me is being able to keep a set of grouped folders on my Mac organized by font style, and having Typeface dynamically monitor those folders as fonts are added or removed. The integration with Adobe Fonts and Adobe apps—especially the automatic activation of inactive fonts—is a huge time-saver. **What do you dislike about Typeface?** Finding specific fonts with particular features can be a bit cumbersome, especially when I’m managing a library of around 10,000 fonts. It takes extra time to narrow things down and locate exactly what I’m looking for. **What problems is Typeface solving and how is that benefiting you?** Typeface is great for visually presenting typefaces, and the ability to preview them with custom text really helps me narrow down design-related decisions. ### 2. The benefit is that you can still use it, if you lapse on the subscription. **What problems is Typeface solving and how is that benefiting you?** Typeface allows me to "see" fonts and organize and tag them for better management. ### 3. It definitely solves a major pain point for me. I had initially been doing it on Google Fonts. But this tool is pretty handy and works offline as well. **What do you dislike about Typeface?** I would like it more if it allows me access to preview the fonts which are not yet on my device. May be an integration with Google Fonts or a similar service would simplify it even more. **Recommendations to others considering Typeface:** I like this tool a lot and use it before pretty much every project. I believe that it simplifies decision making and supports better productivity. **What problems is Typeface solving and how is that benefiting you?** Getting a quick preview of the text in a categorized font listing is a real timesaver. We all end up having a few favorite typefaces. But this allows us to break free from that prejudice and think more openly. ### 4. It'd be great if there was a feature that would automatically tag or sort your typefaces for you. **Recommendations to others considering Typeface:** There are a couple quirks that come with learning this software, but after you get them down (such as option clicking fonts you like for later viewing,) it's easy sailing. **What problems is Typeface solving and how is that benefiting you?** Finding the perfect font for a project has never been this easy, it definitely cuts down the time I would've spent trying to go through every single one of my fonts, by just having all my options at a glance. I can then mark the ones I like, and go through those options until I find the perfect option. ### 5. I open this app whenever I work in Affinity Designer/Photo. **What do you dislike about Typeface?** One of the only few things I dislike is whenever I import fonts (by adding them to a connected folder on my desktop), I have to close then re-open the app for them to appear in the font manager. **What problems is Typeface solving and how is that benefiting you?** I love the ability to activate or deactivate fonts. By activating only the fonts I need while working on certain projects, this saves CPU and other resources which keeps my iMac happy. ### 6. I do wish the left pane was a little prettier and labeled a little more clearly. **What problems is Typeface solving and how is that benefiting you?** As noted above, this app makes seeing fonts practical- I'm not just seeing letters at one size, I can see words at many sizes, which is especially useful for more elaborate fonts. ### 9.
