Comparison time is practically instantaneous with even the largest of files. Very few false-positives. Comparison results are easy to navigate and accept/reject en masse, as well as filter in various useful ways. Image overlay feature makes spotting even minor differences a breeze. Varying levels of style comparison allow user to choose whichever setting suits the review at hand. Similarly ability to disable certain types of difference warnings (such as going from non-breaking hyphen to standard hyphen) is a time saver when reviewing differences. Reliability and versatility. TVT has easily become a mainstay in our business. We have integrated it into many of our day-to-day functions and rely on it to ensure integrity of our documents, and efficiency in our working process. The downsides are more to do with my organization: the cost of each license can be prohibitive, and installation of the desktop version was a hassle because my organization would not allow me to install TVT myself (had to have IT remotely install and run as administrator).
