The service of the deteriorated along with the company name changed. There is absolutely no support for the long term customer at all. We are not able to send or receive our business email through our domains every couple of days. The tech support haven't a clue what is going and just blamed our domain. Our domain was not blacklisted at all. And the Turbify email server refuse to send or receive email through our domains. Our complaints fell into deaf ears. We lost so many customers because of they negligent of the issue. Our redirect was blown away when they did a nameserver transfer. **What do you dislike about Turbify?** Their business practices were always bad, but they have gone completely into the tank since they outsourced the service to Turbify. **What problems is Turbify solving and how is that benefiting you?** Warning: Avoid Turbify (Yahoo Small Business). Yahoo Small Business (Turbify) customer service is absolutely abysmal. It appears to be outsourced to South Asia, and they are really scraping the bottom of the barrel. Their representatives are largely incomprehensible, robotically uncooperative, and seem driven to infuriate their customers. I communicated with them on numerous occasions both in writing and by phone, and they completely ignored most of the screen shots and other information that I provided. It's debatable whether the problem is spectacular incompetence or outright fraud, but I'd bet on "all of the above." Update: It's not just customer service that's horrible with Turbify (Yahoo Small Business). They're also technically incompetent at the back end. A few days after I posted the warning above, our website blew up. They apparently did a nameserver transfer and the domain redirects vanished in the process. Again, avoid this clown show (or is it a mob outfit?) if you can. ### 7. Turbify suspended my account, saying I am sending marketing emails! I spent about 10 hours and talked to 4 different staff of Turbify to remove the suspension! They just lied one after another that my account will be active within 2 hours, and it didn't happen for over 10 hours! I lost about 3k revenue! They didn't care! They didn't contact me to confirm whether I had sent a marketing email before suspending. When I explained that it was not a marketing email, they said they had not read the content of my email!!! They said the problem was from my domain and sent me to spend hours with the technician of my domain while nothing was wrong there!! They knew they had suspended my account, but they didn't bother to look at it initially! To the existing customers - Leave! Back then, Yahoo was a good solution for us. Even though it was not easy back in those days to create a web store, Yahoo had good instructions, which I printed out into a binder, and a step-by-step solution to all of our problems. We used Yahoo for about 10 years, then changed over to BigCommerce, which had an easier platform at the time. The free templates were suitable for the beginning, and it took us about a day or two to transfer the site. Later on we had to buy a template, which was more suitable for our needs, and the transfer was very simple. **What do you dislike about Turbify?** Yahoo did not evolve quickly enough. This year we changed over to Shopify, at the request of our HQ, as part of a global approach to unify our corporate sites in the countries where we have national distributors, mainly in Europe. Shopify is very similar to Big Commerce, at least for us, and both are better than our old Yahoo store. We still use Yahoo for our email accounts, and that service is fine. Overall, Yahoo was a good solution for our company, but as eCommerce technology developed over the years, we found them a bit lacking. **What problems is Turbify solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use the email accounts we originally opened with Yahoo. It is a good service, and the key benefit is that we did not have to make any changes. ### 26. Regarding email management, they provide a very spacious email space to store all my emails, and I don't have to empty the main inboxes. I can also design a basic website using the website builder, and the drag and drop features make it very easy to use **What do you dislike about Turbify?** It comes with a wide range of modern website layouts. I cant find one that matches my specs. The only area where you can change the code is in the site header. Modified scripts cannot e included or added to the site to improve its design and overall experience as no HTML editing options can e found in the settings. **What problems is Turbify solving and how is that benefiting you?** Hosting and creating websites for my business and managing our inbound and outbound email needs. Another part for the calendar, when invite/reminder is sent for the event, it comes as no paragraph text, no active links for the meeting, unless I put them in the note section. ( E.g.in google you put invite link in the location area and this link becomes active) Recently there was a glitch with invites when I sent them to a team, and they all had different times on their calendar, even all had laptops in the pacific time zone. and I couldn't find out what the issue was.
