## About Chaser
Chaser is a task and project management app that lives entirely inside Slack. Create a task in the middle of any conversation, assign it to anyone, and Chaser automatically follows up until it's done — no separate tool to open, no new logins, and no training required. Because Chaser uses your team's existing Slack accounts, teams see roughly 4x higher adoption than traditional project management tools, and 98.7% of tasks get completed instead of ignored. Anyone who receives a task can use Chaser instantly — it explains itself. Features include task creation inside Slack conversations, automatic follow-ups and reminders, repeating tasks, group assignments with round-robin and volunteer requests, per-channel status reports, team reporting, and a Slack-embedded dashboard where your channels act as projects — no boards to build or maintain. Chaser also supports checklist templates, tags, connected workspaces, and Zapier, API, and AI agent integrations. While tools like Asana, Monday.com, and ClickUp are built for deep planning in standalone apps, Chaser is built for execution in the place your team already works. It's used by 500,000+ people across 1,000+ companies — operations, agencies, client services, and leaders who delegate — from startups to enterprises. Chaser is SOC 2 Type 2 compliant, uses Slack's own authentication, and never requests access to your Slack messages. Free 14-day trial with unlimited seats, no credit card required.

## Chaser Reviews
 ### 1. Intuitive Integration, Effortless Project Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ellie M. | Facebook Ads Strategist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Chaser?**

I love how simple and easy to use Chaser is. It took absolutely no effort for us to install and integrate and even less effort for us to master and use daily. My team and I found Chaser extremely easy and intuitive to set up. We watched the 6-minute video and had a complete understanding of how to use and activate it. Chaser allowed us to streamline project management within Slack in a way that felt more intuitive to our communication preferences, which really helped since we used to lose track of tasks when switching between different tools. It’s exceptional, and I would rate it an 11 out of 10 for recommending it to friends or colleagues.

**What do you dislike about Chaser?**

I think I would love the feature of being able to see what people assign to themselves. Sometimes my assistant will assign herself tasks and I'd love to see what she has on her plate so I can better supply her directive.

**What problems is Chaser solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Chaser solves task tracking issues and disjointed communication by integrating project management directly within Slack, aligning it with how we communicate. It streamlines our workflow and enhances efficiency, making it easy to manage tasks without switching between tools.

 ### 2. Automates and Enhances Task Management with Great Support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Allister L. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Chaser?**

I really like how Chaser automates follow-ups, so I don't have to personally chase after people, which makes me feel less like the bad guy pestering them. The reporting system is also a plus since it compiles data for KPI assessments. Additionally, the developers are super responsive when there are technical issues or questions, which is great.

**What do you dislike about Chaser?**

There's a bit of a learning curve.

**What problems is Chaser solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Chaser for task assignments and KPIs. It solves issues with follow-up, deadlines, and task completion. The automated follow-ups mean I don't have to chase people, and the reporting system compiles data for KPI assessment.

 ### 3. Streamlined Task Management with Slack Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Chaser?**

I like just how quick and easy it is to use and how I can send stuff to other people on my team. And I also really like how the founder made himself available via Slack and is super responsive. He has been super helpful in helping me learn how to use the product and answer my questions.

**What do you dislike about Chaser?**

Nothing yet

**What problems is Chaser solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Chaser to manage tasks and keep my team aligned with Slack integration and automated reminders, solving the problem of forgotten tasks in Asana.

 ### 4. Simple tool, very effective

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 22, 2023

**What do you like best about Chaser?**

All I want to do is fire and forget. Our team has a huge number of actions and notes following client meetings which require follow-up, but aren't substantial enough to be fed into task management.

Being able to set a quick chaser, any time, and know it will be followed up with a light-touch consistently within the timeframes set makes a huge difference.

No-one can forget anything, and they have the freedom to schedule the work as they see fit.

**What do you dislike about Chaser?**

It can be challenging to navigate through to-dos, though ideally you shouldn't have to once they're assigned.

**What problems is Chaser solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allowing for agile reminder allocation across a broad team, without micro-managing or relying on human-error.

 ### 5. Chaser massively improved my ability to delegate to my team members

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robbie G. | Product, Head of Anti-Harassment & Bullying, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2023

**What do you like best about Chaser?**

Everyone knows that good leaders are supposed to 'delegate'. But, in the fast paced environment of a startup, this can sometimes be hard. With Chaser, I found that I was no longer running into situations where 'it would have just been faster to do it myself' because I could delegate tasks to my team right within Slack and right within the relevant conversations.

**What do you dislike about Chaser?**

I would love for Chaser to introduce the ability to te images to todos.

**What problems is Chaser solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Chaser is helping me to become a more efficient leader by making it easier to delegate in realtime.

 ### 6. Started working immediately, now use in every Slack group I'm in

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Online Media | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Chaser?**

I work in various workspaces where I need support from others so I love that i can add to any Slack group and immediately start holding team members accountable

**What do you dislike about Chaser?**

I think it's in the future plans but would be great to also have some email integration

**What problems is Chaser solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Not forgetting simple task, our big projects are logged in Trello but Chaser is great for the items that might slip through the cracks
