What do you like best about Truewind?

What do you dislike about Truewind?

Not specifically a downside, but because Truewind is quite specialized, we've needed to engage other vendors to help us with taxes. It would be great to just work with them on this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Truewind solving and how is that benefiting you?

We've sent on all our book-keeping and accounting to Truewind. As a small startup, that helps us stay lean and focus on what we're good at, instead of growing headcount in a non-core area like Accounting. What do you like best about Truewind?

They're incredibly tech forward and have a lot of services and they're really pushing the envelope with AI in a way that actually helps me as a business owner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Truewind?

In the beginning they were releasing a lot of features that weren't really working, but now things have been working smoothly. Also onboarding was a big pain. Took a long time. I'm sure they must have fixed that by now. So no more complaints. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Truewind:

They're like 5 companies in 1, I thankfully have worked in many of the areas they're in:

1. You're a company that wants to outsource your bookkeeping, they do a great job and they're on slack!

2. You're an accounting firm that wants to save time on doing the bookkeeping, they've been able to save themselves time and money, they should probably be able to save you some too.

3. You're a large company with an internal accounting team. I'm not sure here, but last I spoke with them, sounds like they're building some features here. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Truewind solving and how is that benefiting you?

Truewind is working on automating my subledgers. I'm working on raising money and they've done an incredible job with getting my books to accruals and keeping my rate the same. I used to be a CPA and I would have expected my prices to go up because of the work associated with accrual accounting, but they were able to maintain the same fixed rate because of the software and AI that they're building to automate these processes. They've also automated some interesting things like collecting my bank statements directly from the bank and invoices directly from Amazon so that they don't have to keep asking me for these things. I know that I can be a bad customer sometimes and deliver these things pretty late. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
