## About Trackingplan
Reclaim your time. Meet the AI-powered quality layer for marketing & analytics data. Turn AI into your ally to stop costly data errors and protect your advertising ROI. Trackingplan is an automated analytics QA and monitoring platform that ensures your entire tracking setup—including events, marketing pixels, cookies, UTMs, and consent flows—works as intended 24/7. Instead of relying on manual audits, console debugging, or outdated documentation, Trackingplan learns your real measurement plan directly from user traffic and continuously monitors all your tracking in real time, detecting issues instantly, providing full visibility into real user sessions, and helping teams maintain accurate, consistent, and compliant data without effort. This is how: - Automatically learns your real measurement plan directly from user traffic, discovering events, parameters, destinations, and tracking logic without manual configuration required. - Continuously monitors GA4, GTM, Meta, TikTok, server-side setups, and custom integrations, validating every data point as users navigate your site or app. - Sends real-time alerts when events break, values disappear, pixels stop firing, or campaign naming conventions change unexpectedly. - Provides full session-level visibility with real data layer snapshots, payload comparisons, and guided debugging to identify root causes instantly. - Uses AI-Assisted Debugging that automatically guides you to the root cause, helping you pinpoint exactly where and why an event, pixel, or consent flow is failing. Think of it as a debugging companion that tells you exactly what to fix, guiding you through the resolution process with clear, step-by-step instructions to act on your tracking warnings - Validates consent, cookies, and CMP compliance, ensuring events fire only after proper opt-in and helping teams avoid privacy risks. - Keeps UTMs and naming conventions consistent, preventing attribution errors and unreliable reporting. Unlike tools that rely on synthetic journeys or predefined scripts, Trackingplan provides full coverage of all pages, events, and user behaviors automatically. This ensures real-world, real-time visibility and allows you to cover even the most complex user scenarios, capturing every path users might take, not just predefined journeys, so no tagging gaps go unnoticed.

## Trackingplan Reviews
 ### 1. Speed Up Marketing Analytics Validation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luis G. | Insights & Analytics Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Trackingplan?**

It lets me check real sessions to review our Analytics/Media tracking configuration. This makes it possible to avoid certain auto-tests (like forwarding money for purchases or opening lots of browser extensions) just to verify those configurations.

The AI layer that’s implemented is a great solution for being more autonomous and faster in our analysis.

**What do you dislike about Trackingplan?**

At the beginning, it isn’t easy to manage or control the platform, and some guidance (video tutorials, for example) would be great to help me learn how to use it faster.

**What problems is Trackingplan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Problems:

- Frequent breaks in releases: with weekly deployments, tracking errors end up directly impacting campaigns and reporting.
- Reduced team: after the reorganization, analytics is sustained by a single person, with occasional support from JAKALA. A large part of the time is spent debugging and performing manual checks.
- Risk to Paid Media / CRM investments: tracking errors, inconsistent namings, and poorly configured pixels reduce campaign efficiency on Meta, Google, or TikTok, and can generate “invisible” losses that are difficult to detect.

What Trackingplan solves:

- Automated QA: immediate detection of broken events, empty variables, or anomalies, without relying on manual testing or test purchases, and based on real cases.
- Standardized namings and campaigns: automatic validation of conventions to ensure consistency and correct attribution across parks.
- Freeing up the team: fewer hours spent analyzing incidents and validating data, and more focus on analysis/insights and supporting marketing, ecommerce, and CRM teams.
- Maximizing every euro in media spend: ensuring that conversions, revenue, and audiences are captured without leaks, so the digital budget performs at its maximum.

 ### 2. Trackingplan as my data observability and consent monitoring platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Saba J. | Analytics Strategist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Trackingplan?**

I really like the AI Debugger and the Correlation Reports in Trackingplan. They're incredibly helpful for creating textual hypotheses and identifying possible root causes for data quality issues. Moreover, the AI Debugger can even suggest the next steps / solutions to further debug the problem.

The ability to select the right data types and manage the conditional presence for properties, like dataLayer event parameters or GA4 event parameters, is valuable to me. I also find the feature that provides visibility on third-party pixels very useful, especially when adding a new pixel from GTM. The consent monitoring feature is great, as it can auto-detect the Cookie Management Platform vendor, identify cookies, and pinpoint pixels, which is crucial.

Trackingplan support is awesome, and event setting it up on the website was super easy, especially using GTM with the clear instructions they provide.

We use Trackingplan's native connector to Looker Studio for creating the client-facing dashboard. The dashboard is then shared with the client's team for them to also be able monitor their data collection quality.

You can configure the Slack email in Trackingplan "daily warning recipients'" field and receive the daily monitoring results directly in Slack.

Lastly, the frequent rollout of new Web SDK versions is awesome.

**What do you dislike about Trackingplan?**

The new Web SDK version is rolled out frequently, which is awesome. But, the manual update is required from time to time. If the script is installed on the website from GTM, the manual update is easy. The frequent update can be a tad cumbersome if you have the Trackingplan installed on the website directly from the source code. Because in that case, a developer's involvement and deployment is required.

**What problems is Trackingplan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Trackingplan to monitor data quality issues quickly, debug with AI insights, manage privacy for GDPR, and get visibility on third-party pixels. It eases consent monitoring and ensures data collection quality.

 ### 3. Real-Time Tracking, Intuitive

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Miguel A. | Analista, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Trackingplan?**

I really like being able to control events in real-time with Trackingplan. It's really useful to see almost with a click where and when I'm missing an event, a parameter, or a value. I also find the functionality for campaign traffic interesting and useful. Moreover, event monitoring works very well both in the app and on the web. The initial setup is easy and intuitive.

**What do you dislike about Trackingplan?**

The interface could be improved by making it more pleasant, with more alert colors. Currently, a warning of 1% has the same severity as a warning of 50%, which could be better differentiated.

**What problems is Trackingplan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Trackingplan for real-time event tracking, which allows me to detect drops, compare versions, and easily monitor alerts. I like how it allows me, almost with a click, to see where and when an event, parameter, or value is missing.

 ### 4. Useful for monitoring tracking quality

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Trackingplan?**

How easy it makes it to actually see what’s happening with tracking in real time without having to dig through network logs or do loads of manual QA. It’s helpful for spotting when something has changed or broken across analytics and ad platforms, especially around events, dataLayer, etc. It gives a lot more confidence that tracking is behaving as expected, and makes debugging issues much quicker when something does go wrong.

**What do you dislike about Trackingplan?**

In terms of improvements, sometimes the UI can feel a bit unclear, particularly around terminology and how certain actions work, like dismissing vs muting alerts in the health summary. It’s not always immediately obvious what each option will do, and I’ve had to ask for clarification a couple of times.

At times the wording and phrasing in the UI also feels slightly unnatural in English, almost like it may have been originally designed in another language and translated. It’s not a major issue, but it can occasionally make parts of the product less intuitive than they could be.

Overall though, it’s a powerful tool and the value is definitely there, especially for debugging and monitoring tracking quality.

**What problems is Trackingplan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trackingplan helps solve the problem of not really having clear visibility into what’s happening with our tracking once it’s live across multiple platforms. Without it, we’d be relying on manual checks, browser tools, or waiting for data discrepancies to show up in analytics tools before realising something has broken.

The main benefit for me is confidence and speed. I can quickly validate whether tracking is working as expected, and when something is off, it’s much faster to diagnose the issue rather than having to dig through multiple systems.

Overall, it helps improve data reliability and reduces the time spent troubleshooting tracking issues.

 ### 5. Proactive Error Detection, Exceptional Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brais C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Trackingplan?**

It helps me detect problems in data quality and ensure data quality without having to manually review each flow or process. I love being able to access all the raw data from digital marketing tools to detect anomalies and understand much better how the tools process data. Raw data is key because it allows you to go beyond what you see in the tools' interfaces and detect the origin of implementation, duplication, and format problems, and it allows you to audit the tools themselves and also covers the entire spectrum (web, apps, and server side). The support team always tries to help and makes a difference by understanding the real use cases of analytics very well, providing context and listening to feedback to improve the product.

**What do you dislike about Trackingplan?**

The interface is a bit confusing and needs improvement. More granular levels of alerts are also needed in the health summary.

**What problems is Trackingplan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trackingplan helps me detect problems in data quality, inconsistencies in the dataLayer, and unexpected changes in tracking, without manual review. It also identifies missing events, empty parameters, discrepancies, and allows auditing tools.

 ### 6. Solid data quality watchdog — catches issues fast

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Events Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Trackingplan?**

The peace of mind is real. Trackingplan has already flagged several tracking issues proactively — things we might not have caught for weeks otherwise. It spotted broken events and unexpected changes in our data layer very quickly so we were able to react und repair fast.
The feature set is genuinely impressive. There's clearly a lot of thought that has gone into the product, and every time we poke around, we find something new that looks useful.

**What do you dislike about Trackingplan?**

Honestly? There are almost too many features. After more than six months of using Trackingplan, we've still not explored or used a significant portion of what the tool offers. We're essentially running on default settings plus a few tweaks, and that already covers our core needs well — but it does sometimes feel like we're underutilizing what we're paying for. Not a dealbreaker, but a mild case of feature overwhelm is real.

**What problems is Trackingplan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Data quality monitoring and tracking governance. Before Trackingplan, issues in our analytics implementation often went undetected until something downstream broke. Now we have a reliable safety net that alerts us quickly when something goes wrong.

 ### 7. Simplifies Data Analysis with Unified Reporting

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jamie B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Trackingplan?**

I appreciate that Trackingplan allows us to unlock deeper analysis techniques that aren't available in our current analytics and ad platform stack. It solves the problem of fragmented data by pulling in all ad platform data, analytics platform data, and datalayer events and consent signals into a single report. I find the ability to create custom reports and the consistent updates really beneficial. The account management team is great and supports us well. The automated anomaly detection is a valuable feature, helping us prevent downtime of tracking and catch issues more quickly. Being able to capture datalayer and all platforms in one place is super handy, as it saves us time and we don't have to manually QA. The initial setup was also super simple.

**What do you dislike about Trackingplan?**

There isnt anything i dislike - the gaps i have found, trackingplan have worked with our team to fill them and add functionality that wasnt previously available

**What problems is Trackingplan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trackingplan solves data fragmentation by pulling ad, analytics platform, and datalayer events into a single report. It saves us time by automating anomaly detection, preventing downtime, and allowing us to use already collected data without QA processes.

 ### 8. Facilitate detecting analytical issues and resolving them quickly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel M. | Consultor analista, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Trackingplan?**

The ease it offers for detecting issues in analytical measurement and the tools that help resolve them

**What do you dislike about Trackingplan?**

Although it has a free plan, the price is a significant barrier for many customers.

**What problems is Trackingplan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Incidents in web analytics measurement or in the implementation of campaign pixels. It is a very useful tool to ensure the quality of measurement and saves a lot of time in reviewing the measurement and in detecting and resolving errors.

 ### 9. Data Quality and Excellent Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eva G. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Trackingplan?**

I really like the Trackingplan team because they are very approachable and provide immediate support for any questions or issues. Additionally, I use the Destinations feature a lot, which helps me see everything I have active on my website and notifies me of any changes.

**What do you dislike about Trackingplan?**

The Health Summary is a bit complex for me to understand. I would like a simpler and more direct visualization, with less noise in the alerts.

**What problems is Trackingplan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Trackingplan to audit and review data quality, detect anomalies in metrics, and have control over data governance tools. It helps me detect tagging issues, simplifying their location and resolution.

 ### 10. Trackingplan Speeds Up Digital Analytics Troubleshooting with Clear Reports & Responsive Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Francesca A. | Digital Analytics Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Trackingplan?**

We used Trackingplan as a pilot project with one of our main clients, with multiple data streams active and several analytics tracking issues, especially along a very complex multi-step funnel.

Trackingplan has proven to be extremely useful for quickly identifying and fixing tracking problems, such as missing events, missing parameters, or incorrectly populated variables. Thanks to its native reports and visualizations, it is often easy to understand the root cause of an issue without spending hours on manual debugging and testing.

It significantly speeds up the analysis and troubleshooting process and gives a clear, structured view of what is actually being sent to analytics platforms.
Additionally, the support team is very responsive, and the platform is continuously improving with frequent updates and new features.

**What do you dislike about Trackingplan?**

Trackingplan is a very powerful tool with a large number of features, and this can sometimes feel overwhelming at first. There is a learning curve, and to fully leverage the platform, it’s important to invest time in training and self-education.

That said, this is more a consequence of its richness than a real drawback, but new users should expect an onboarding phase before using it at its full potential.

**What problems is Trackingplan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trackingplan solves the problem of lack of visibility and control over analytics implementations, especially in complex setups with multiple tools, data streams, and advanced funnels. The main benefit is a significant reduction in debugging time, faster issue resolution, and increased confidence in data accuracy. As a result, teams can spend less time troubleshooting and more time analyzing data and making informed decisions based on reliable tracking.

 ### 11. Saves Time with Easy Setup and Comprehensive Tracking

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zoltan B.

**Reviewed Date:** January 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Trackingplan?**

I really like how easy it is to install Trackingplan, especially on Android and iOS since some of our clients use these platforms. I also appreciate the centralized dashboard where I can quickly check the overall health status of the website and get a detailed breakdown of every single event to ensure we are tracking everything correctly. Additionally, the initial setup, particularly for the web, is very straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Trackingplan?**

Well, I'm not sure. I think the only thing that would really help is if for Android and iOS integrations, we could create the workspace ourselves instead of contacting the support.

**What problems is Trackingplan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trackingplan saves us significant time in quality assurance by automating pixel tracking and manual request verification, a solution we lacked before.

 ### 12. Real-Time marketing monitoring that saves time.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ewa K. | Head of Measurement & Media Technology, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Trackingplan?**

The ability to monitor marketing data in real time helps me react quickly and address issues. It also saves time by reducing the need for manual audits.

**What do you dislike about Trackingplan?**

Some metrics are difficult to understand, especially when you’re just starting to work with the tool.

**What problems is Trackingplan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The quality of the data is poor, which leads to incorrect business decisions.

 ### 13. Trackingplan accelerates error detection and improves data quality

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elena M. | Analytics Product Leader, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Trackingplan?**

Trackingplan allows me to detect errors and anomalies much faster and have much more powerful data quality.

**What do you dislike about Trackingplan?**

Perhaps it would be good to have, more clearly, an option to indicate that something is not an anomaly. The unmute of the alerts falls a bit short for me.

**What problems is Trackingplan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me to review all the information that both measurement and marketing platforms are sending from a single tool. It speeds up my work.

 ### 14. Outstanding Technical Support and Continuous Innovation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Enrico T. | Digital Analytics Leader, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Trackingplan?**

Best technical support was provided throughout our collaboration. The vendors show us every day how crucial customer satisfaction is. Moreover, the platform continues to innovate.

**What do you dislike about Trackingplan?**

At first, there was one unique issue that didn’t match our initial needs, but the team fixed it promptly. Now, there isn’t anything our team dislikes about the platform.

**What problems is Trackingplan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In their last release, they added features for monitoring website privacy settings, which gives us more complete behavior monitoring.

 ### 15. No Tracking Regressions: User-Friendly Tool with Great Data Quality & Support

**What problems is Trackingplan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trackingplan is helping us solve tracking regressions.
