They also offer beautiful templates and guides to get you started. There are just SO MANY possible applications for this software **What do you dislike about Tiled?** I found that I was not tremendously impressed with the mobile experience on some of the micro-app experiences that I was creating with Tiled. I wish there are a way to control responsive behavior. **What problems is Tiled solving and how is that benefiting you?** The need for internal resources for our team, such as brand guidelines, that need to be web-based, but also developed without spending too much or hiring a web developer. We also found the application of digital business cards to be really interesting. However, in the end, our sales team still preferred physical business cards. ### 3. I love that I can see what type of info my customers are looking at and how long they look at it. As for how it is used for internal use, it is a simple way to store files to help reps find them and keep them in a single app. **What do you dislike about Tiled?** I dislike that I have to download the micro app before I send it. I don’t like that it opens up as a video before they can see the brochure (maybe that’s an aptive thing). I don’t like that I can’t see whether that my number has to be added by myself. **Recommendations to others considering Tiled:** Use it. It is a key to the success of the majority of our top recruiters. We also use it to store training material that sales reps can access. We also use it to link other websites that reps can connect with through tiled. We send out contracts for reps to sign, and this tool allows us to be independent and gives ease of use for reps. **What problems is Tiled solving and how is that benefiting you?** Not having to carry business cards I can get their number, and they can get mine in a simple email or text. It allows for easy communication with customers and potential oncoming recruits. ### 4. This feature may be the only saving grace of this software **What do you dislike about Tiled?** Powerpoint integration. While I was using the software, the powerpoint integrations were not on point. You pretty much have to know adobe and use that integration for this to be effective. **Recommendations to others considering Tiled:** Make sure you're team is comfortable with Adobe, and design in general. This program requires a much more creative mind than powerpoint does. It might take a while to get your microapps to look like the examples/templates given. Be ready to learn completely new skills if you've only done powerpoint; things like mid-slide scroll bars and giphs on the page. **What problems is Tiled solving and how is that benefiting you?** The main problem I've been solving with Tiled is sending out info to a group of people, where in this instance the information changes over time. One innovative use-case we thought of was sending out quarterly investor reports as one report initially, and then just updating it quarterly and not re-sending any info out. ### 5. Tiled has some great preset templates that you can change to fit your business needs and identity. I also love how you can create your own if needed! The interconnectivity between Adobe XD is also a great feature. **What do you dislike about Tiled?** I do wish that you can edit your layout and design in the tiled program. Instead, it is a hassle to make changes to my design file then reupload it as an image etc. I can do the same thing in a prototype app but Tiled is a lot more seamless. I hope they move to improve this feature as well as work on adding more integration with Figma. **What problems is Tiled solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are looking at changing the way we present designs to our merchants and buyers. We want an interactive experience for our clients instead of the typical powerpoint experience. We tested these experiences with a small group, and their feedback made Tiled a no-brainer decision. Tiled's user management system made it incredibly easy for us to instantly deploy with a larger test group and go live with the entire company at the turn of the year. **What do you dislike about Tiled?** I wish tiled had a simple dynamic link tool that would be easily compatible with a CSV file upload. I'm not a tech guy but I would like a simple, upload and link to an email system. **Recommendations to others considering Tiled:** Get access to their 'creative' account and build a couple of micro apps during your discovery process. **What problems is Tiled solving and how is that benefiting you?** Tiled solved our universal solar pro hub, which now houses most of our internal company communication. It won't replace the need for solid design thinking and user experience, but it sure makes it much easier to deliver on both. Now I can enable my graphic design team to go straight to producing for the web. We can change so much easier on the fly than ever before. We're excited for all that Tiled brings to our wheelhouse. **What do you dislike about Tiled?** They're still young, so some of the widgets or unconventional tools we'd want are not "in the box" and require a 3rd party to creat, but that's changing quickly as they grow their partnership network and integrations. **What problems is Tiled solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are solving for an industry that is so accustomed to the data dump of PPT and linear presentations. The trouble is, consumers don't have linear problems to be solved - they want to go right to the issues they care about first. If that issue is buried in a PPT, you're sunk. Tiled gives us the ability to keep presentations "between the guard rails" using approved assets but frees the sales team or user to navigate as they wish. We then get data on the backend about what they looked at and viewed...which makes for much greater additional outreach. ### 8. In the past, we'd just be guessing what they viewed and what they didnt. -The ability to visually design just about any content-based experience we want. -Being able to embed microapps into anything **What do you dislike about Tiled?** The platform reporting is still a work in progress. A lack of integrations to move the data out of the platform needs to be addressed. The fact that you can only export data out of the platform one month at a time via excel is a shortcoming. We need to be able to pull several months at a time. Aditionally, the report pull out only really shows opens, and not page by page views, so not being able to pull that data out of the platform is a minus. **Recommendations to others considering Tiled:** Give it a try, let them do a POC for you and you'll be hooked. **What problems is Tiled solving and how is that benefiting you?** VERSIONING - this has always been our biggest issue. Our sales team was using content that was way out of date before Tiled. Now marketing controls everything that they use. Another great benefit is being able to have single links for them that they can bookmark and always go back to. As our content is updated, we don't have to worry about providing them new content, it just gets updated in the microapp. ### 10. While other programs require you to do all of the planning, graphical design, and implementation, Tiled allows for click-and-drag building from inception to publishing. Storyboarding can be done on the fly, as building is simplistic and routes can be changed. **What do you dislike about Tiled?** Currently, the features are limited on the types of interactives you can implement. Honestly, this may also serve as a strength for decision making, as there would also be a learning curve for the customer with each new activity. **What problems is Tiled solving and how is that benefiting you?** The ability to quickly build solutions for my students to work through tough concepts is amazingly beneficial. At our organization, we can provide templates to content creators and rapidly produce high-quality content. Because it is so easy to use, many of our content creators can pick up the tool so quickly that they can create their own content from start to finish. However, Tiled doesn't trade an intuitive UX for lack of robustness - our dedicated designers also have the tools they need to create more technically complex, higher-end deliverables too. It's replaced time-consuming work in many areas of our department. **What do you dislike about Tiled?** Tiled is still a newer tool and I'd like to see additional features and functionality added so that we can continue to deploy it to new areas. For example, I'd love to see a direct download capability so we can attach supporting documents, and I'd like to see more widgets added with more interactive tools. Lots of runway for Tiled to become an even more integral part of our business. **What problems is Tiled solving and how is that benefiting you?** We work in a fast-paced business, as many do these days, and we're trying to do more with less. That means that when we start to get stretched resource-wise, we have to get creative - we can't just hire another designer. Tiled has had a positive impact on the bandwidth of our design team by making it easy for us to keep content writers hands-on with their content- and especially with routine updates. This usability frees up designers for more complex, strategic projects. That will really up your game in look & feel of the output in your Tiled. Also, refer to the templates section to help get you started on the Tiled website. **What problems is Tiled solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are providing timely and accessible information to our Associates during a critical time. Our coworkers are able to understand company policies during COVID-19 and access that information whenever and wherever. We are able to also update that information, keep the same link, and capture those Associates that are visiting the microapp for information. The benefit of using Tiled is it allows us to get creative with design, and create a functionality that is visually-appealing to our users. ### 30. Our coaches travel with these presentations and when they need an update it is so simple for us to make the changes they need, and simple for them to refresh the presentation. We have been able to create amazing, visually striking and interactive presentations with Tiled that we weren't able to create before, and that comes in handy especially when trying to impress 18 year old football recruits. **What do you dislike about Tiled?** I wish that on the back end of tiled there was an easier way to organize the assets. It would be incredible to have galleries within the gallery, so we could put all the assets for a single slide into one spot and we didn't have to continue to scroll all the way down and look super hard for the asset we are trying to upload. I also wish that when using the "leave behind" feature that there was a way to just send a single page of the presentation as opposed to the entire thing. **Recommendations to others considering Tiled:** You absolutely will not be disappointed if you use Tiled. The software is incredible and their customer service is second to none. **What problems is Tiled solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are solving the problem of not having updated and easy to use presentations for coaches when they travel and recruit. The benefit of having something so easily updatable is huge for us, and even bigger for our coaches. It's also much more detailed and interactive than our previous presentations that were just powerpoint or iBooks. ### 31. It was awesome to plug it right into the elarning content we created and on day 1 new hires could get there hands on a version of our product that they couldn't break. That has been one of the most often cited benefits of the learning materials so far! **What do you dislike about Tiled?** Our team has struggled to get the needed data in how customers are using the Tiled apps in a consistent and reliable way. The Tiled team has worked really hard to remedy this, but it has taken longer than we all thought and required more work on our end than initially expected. **What problems is Tiled solving and how is that benefiting you?** As mentioned above, the primary problem is having new employees actually get in and see how our product works. It is highly technical and getting them into a demo environment gets complicated real quick. Tiled allows us to control that environment, and allow them to click through and simulate the use without complicated coding or backend development. This has been really big for our employees, and we hope to use these with some of our business partners. ### 32. From training to incentives, we've been able to create microapps that excite and motive almost in real-time without the drag-out time of development. **What do you dislike about Tiled?** Our biggest gripe/feedback we get from users we are creating presentations or microapps for is that they are needing an offline version that they can access without internet. Many of our users share and use microapps as presentations on their desktops and are using the sharing link and do not have either adequate internet speed or don't have internet access. They are not app users. Aside from that, the cost is a bit higher which requires almost quarterly reports on activity and takes time to defend the need to those paying the bills. With other platforms getting closer and closer to providing interactive solutions close to what Tiled offers, it's getting harder and harder to defend the higher premium cost. **What problems is Tiled solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our company isn't huge by any means (700+ employees) but with 6 different office locations and field operators in 48 states, it's always been a challenge to disseminate information quickly and in a way that catches attention as well as uniformly. Tiled has allowed us to create and pivot quickly to make experiences that employees enjoy and want to share. I was absolutely thrilled with finding out that we can embed a Tiled experience within our internal Community Space (typically HTML supported). Total game changer that I can manage and produce and make the customer experience high on industry standards. Our customers are inundated with Google Docs, thrown together newsletters using Gmail or whatever free options they can find, and pushing them to stagnant community spaces. Tiled has allowed us to create a consistent customer experience with newsletters no matter what team the client works with and whatever skill the user may have. Tiled allows us to be thoughtful and deliberate with delivering content and experiences with our clients. This product is something we have needed for years to take our customer experience to the next level! While recruiting businesses I use Tiled to impress companies with what we do and that we do it well. I love how professional it looks and how easy it is to brand it the right way. We havent been using it long enough to find something we don't like but for the little experience I do have it definitely is nice having someone that already knows it really well. We are able to move without having to wait for pages to load on BOTH computers. The customers are also able to click on the screen which makes it easier for us when they have questions for us. **What do you dislike about Tiled?** Sometimes our instances are completely deleted, but it was easy to upload them back. It is a little tricky to get used to at first, but when you get used it it, it's great. **Recommendations to others considering Tiled:** Use it. It is fantastic. It makes my job so much easier. I am using it over the phone, and it makes it seem more real and personable. Customers are also able to receive the presentation afterwards so they can view it whenever they want. They seem to be very pleased with that when I tell them I am going to send it to them. If anyone is considering Tiled over another company, that company better be perfect if you are going to go with them over this one. It is a no brainer thatTiled is a very great and professional company to go with if you want things to go smoothly with your presentations. **What problems is Tiled solving and how is that benefiting you?** The greatest benefit is that you get as close to a face to face meeting without actually being there in person.
