## About Thrivea
Thrivea is a human resource information system (HRIS) software that helps organizations manage employee data, documents, time-off processes, organizational structure, and core HR workflows in a centralized platform. It is designed for startups and growing companies that need a structured way to manage people operations without relying on spreadsheets or multiple disconnected tools. Thrivea provides a single system for storing and organizing employee information, managing internal documentation, and supporting day-to-day HR processes such as time-off tracking and approvals. The platform includes a structured employee directory and individual employee profiles that consolidate key data, documents, and role information. A centralized document management system allows organizations to store contracts, policies, and internal materials with role-based access controls. Organizational charts provide visibility into team structure, while configurable workflows support consistency in HR processes across departments. Thrivea follows a modular approach. **What do you like best about Thrivea?**

The tool is visually well laid out, and offers a functional view for all user categories. The modules are connected in a sensible fashion and allow for easy insight into each employee's stats, but also into the company's internal documents and policies. It's fast to load and switch through different views.

The pricing is also streamlined to reflect the size of the org. Finally, the onboarding support from the Thrivea team is great.

**What do you dislike about Thrivea?**

There are still some missing integrations, mostly related to MCP-level access for LLMs. It would be great to be able to instruct Claude to just populate the employee profiles based on the information that I already have scattered on my other drives.

**What problems is Thrivea solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Thrivea does a very good job of keeping track of employee presence/absence, remaining vacation days, company policies or procedures, etc. that relate to the HR space. It's also useful to have a master admin overview of compensation packages and employee history.

**What do you like best about Thrivea?**

What stands out most is how everything about people management lives in one place instead of being scattered across spreadsheets, shared drives, and chat tools. Employee records, org charts, documents, time-off, and performance reviews are all connected, so there's no more chasing down the same information in five different systems. Setup was fast too — we were up and running within days, not weeks, with no steep learning curve for the team. 

The interface feels familiar (similar to tools like Excel or Dropbox), which made adoption easy even for people who aren't naturally "HR software" users. Being able to start with Core HR for free and only add modules like Time-Off or Performance when we actually needed them was also a big plus, no paying for functionality we weren't ready to use yet.

**What do you dislike about Thrivea?**

Being a newer platform, there are still a few gaps here and there compared to more established HR suites, and some things are clearly on their way but not quite there yet. Nothing major, just the usual growing pains you'd expect from a product that's still maturing.

**What problems is Thrivea solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Thrivea, our employee data, documents, and processes were spread across spreadsheets, shared folders, and various chat tools, which made it easy for information to get outdated or lost, and hard to get a clear picture of the team at a glance. Thrivea centralizes all of that into one system, so we no longer duplicate effort tracking the same information in multiple places. 

Time-off requests and approvals now happen automatically instead of through back-and-forth messages, and performance reviews follow a consistent, structured process instead of ad hoc check-ins. The overall benefit has been less administrative overhead and better visibility into our people data, which frees up time to focus on the team itself rather than the paperwork around it.
