Thread Auto Reviews & Product Details

Thread Auto is a modern dealership technology platform designed specifically for independent US automotive retailers. It pairs high-converting dealer websites with a connected back-office platform to eliminate duplicate data entry, aging inventory, and lost mobile leads. Unlike legacy dealer management systems built for multi-location franchise operations, Thread Auto is purpose-built for independent lots. The platform delivers: • Mobile-First Vehicle Detail Pages (VDPs): Equips every vehicle listing with thumb-accessible "Call", "Text the Lot", and 60-second mobile pre-qualification buttons, capturing shoppers who browse on mobile devices. • Real-Time Inventory Merchandising: Fast vehicle check-in with VIN decoding, high-resolution photo galleries, lot-aging tracking (45- and 60-day alerts), and automatic syndication to prevent rekeying data across systems. • Lead & Customer Conversation Tracking: Unified inbox that routes calls, SMS messages, and website inquiries directly to sales reps with zero manual entry, ensuring fast response times before shoppers look elsewhere. • Service Scheduling & Customer Retention: Integrated booking workflow allowing service departments to publish transparent maintenance menus and confirm customer drop-offs online. • Transparent Month-to-Month Pricing: Plans start at $49/month with a full 30-day free trial of the portal on any plan and no mandatory long-term contracts.
