Features like this make it easy to quickly build high-quality visuals for financial presentations. I also like the ability to define a custom color formatting scheme for each chart type. I have a custom color scheme for waterfall charts that is different than what i use for stacked bars. **What do you dislike about think-cell?** The main issue that i run into with Think-cell is that it does require a license and we've not enrolled our entire organization. Additionally, i do sometimes have issues in shared presentations where a think cell chart will break and needs to be re-created . This used to be a more frequent issue but the frequency of this issue has fallen dramatically over the last couple of years. **What problems is think-cell solving and how is that benefiting you?** Think-cell is making it faster to create high-quality charts for financial presentations. I can do most everything that think-cell does in an excel chart, but it takes significantly longer to create and format. My think-cell chart type has been the waterfall chart. ### 28. For my first couple years with it I only used it for chart functionality in PPTX - and that is definitely it's most important aspect. Making charts in think-cell is *enormously* faster, and substantially better-looking, than powerpoint's built-in solution. If you make charts in PPT at least once a month, this is worth it for you. More recently I've started using their textbox functionality. At *first,* when I didn't really know how to use it properly, I found it unintuitive and cumbersome, so I - like most people - stopped. Once I watched their tutorial video however and learned how to use them, OH MAN are they fantastic. think-cell text boxes save you all the trouble of constantly re-aligning and re-sizing things every time you add a bullet or change some language. It makes layouts SO much faster and easier. I can't believe I lived without them. One of the best software products out there, strongly recommend to anyone who works in powerpoint regularly! **What do you dislike about think-cell?** My two main suggestions for improvement are: (1) Make the video tutorials more front-and-center; the textboxes are intuitive once you've watched the video, but if you don't watch the video and just try to use them without it, you'll give up. The text tutorials online are also frankly not as exhaustive as they could be. They should invest more resources into making the text manual more exhaustive, with a wider set of FAQs based on observing actual customer usage and points of confusion. I hate spending time trying to figure out whether something is even possible in think-cell - that should be a quick search, not requiring me to parse through pages of text to figure out what *you* call things (2) Add more functionality to the text boxes, especially: options for lines between columns and rows, so that *those* resize along with the text boxes; and more ability to add colors and borders to text boxes, for callouts and things like that. **What problems is think-cell solving and how is that benefiting you?** It (a) makes it substantially faster to make PPT pages, (b) makes it substantially less painful to make PPT pages, and (c) produces much better-looking powerpoint pages. Faster, easier, and better, why *wouldn't* you want it? ### 30. While Project software is great for building correct dependencies, they often do not serve well as communication tools. It's not intuitive at first, and I certainly needed a tutorial to get into the tool. No chart is too technically challenging to "see" or interpret, but all "business" and high-impact charts to make an elegant and Wow slide, helping you to tell your (data-) story in a concise and data-driven format. Moreover, Thinkcell is a one-stop tool to be a time-saver (~20-30% faster to build a chart) and a quality booster to your charts/slides. From small nuances, such as color-scheme consistency, to "graphical call-outs", your chart will be better. **What do you dislike about think-cell?** Older versions could slow down a bit the Office package, but nothing significant in the latest versions.... **What problems is think-cell solving and how is that benefiting you?** Improve (a lot) the quality of charts/slides and save time. Thinkcell is user-friendly and super intuitive to use, using features such as click-and-drag and right-clicking on the "object" to change. The speed of programme is currently the biggest issue. Sometimes when applying changes to the whole presentation (e.g. changing the language) the think cell takes a lot of time to apply the changes.
