## ThemeCo Pro Reviews
  ### 1. Powerful Builder, but Pricing, Paywalled Support, and WooCommerce Limitations Disappoint

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about ThemeCo Pro?**

I've been using Pro for almost 10 years. It's come a long way and is a overall an incredibly powerful builder. Customization ability is pretty good, and the ability for advanced users to create advanced website functionality using built-in tools is good. I've found performance to be adequate, and it has some out-of-the-box support for several popular Wordpress plugins.

**What do you dislike about ThemeCo Pro?**

I used to think that there was great value in using Pro, but more and more as time passes I see less and less value. What used to be an affordable lifetime license is now, of course, just another subscription, more expensive for a single year than lifetime licenses used to be. Themeco does still offer lifetime licenses, but they are vastly more expensive than they used to be, and in a time when AI will build a site for you for mere dollars, the value in paying hundreds for a theme that you still have to manually configure and design yourself is basically gone.

My latest big complaint is in their support, which has also become worse. They used to be extremely helpful with almost any website question. Now of course, their direct support is also locked behind a paywall. I've recently spent almost $2K on licenses with Themeco, and still have no access whatsoever to direct support. The only option is to post on their forum. I also should clarify that the entire reason I need support is because their latest plugin, Cornerstone Forms, completely crashes our site. This is extremely disappointing, especially as a long-time customer and previous advocate for this theme.

There are other shortcomings too, that I've been hoping for updates to for a long time. Their support for WooCommerce especially has been very poor for a long time, and they have yet to release any meaningful update that does anything other than the bare minimum to make an ecomm site functional. For a theme that touts its flexibility, it is incredibly limited when it comes to WooCommerce support, without a bunch of custom configuration and code.

**What problems is ThemeCo Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to build basic non-ecommerce sites with very flexible design capabilities, functioning in almost any way that we could need.

  ### 2. Themeco is one of the best website them developers

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about ThemeCo Pro?**

I like how easy they are to use and access all the information you need to utilize your theme. They make it very easy to implement. I think that the prices are competitive for all the benefits you get.

**What do you dislike about ThemeCo Pro?**

I think that it is great, however, I think that it could utilize a little more user-friendly features. I would love to see them e-mail information regarding your themes rather than make you log in to get it before validating it on the website platform.

**Recommendations to others considering ThemeCo Pro:**

Themeco pro is an excellent theme and is worth every penny!

**What problems is ThemeCo Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I utilized themeCo Pro to access website themes to design websites for my business.

  ### 3. Changes The Website Game

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about ThemeCo Pro?**

There's a big difference between a template theme and a framework theme and this must be understood in order to truly appreciate what Pro can do for you.

A template theme is one of those out-of-the-box theme's that you install on WordPress. They give the illusion of customizability but really you are just working within their prebuilt structure. This is great if you are simply a small business looking for near-zero work / expense and honestly, you'd probably be better off with Wix or Squarespace at that point.

A framework theme, like Pro, is really the future of WordPress. It is a blank canvas framework that provides you with the tools to truly design, build and customize your site from the ground up. The builder is intuitive, the options are endless and you even have the ability to tweak with custom css, or js if you're comfortable with that.

They are also constantly working to improve the platform, add community requested features and speed things up.

**What do you dislike about ThemeCo Pro?**

As with any platform that attempts to provide limitless customizability, there are bugs or issues that you may run into (though for me these have been few and far between). That said, their support is out of this world stellar and they typically will address issues within the next point release.

That said, they've had a glaring issue with accordions previewing incorrectly (which have been pointed out in their forums starting in 2.3.5 and still existing in 2.4.1). They have acknowledged and replicated the issue on their end yet have not addressed it (as of writing). But, I'm confident that their team will address it and it doesn't change the fact that this is a phenomenal tool.

Keep in mind, even Apple is constantly updating your iPhone's software to squash edge-case bugs. No company is immune to this.

**Recommendations to others considering ThemeCo Pro:**

There are other framework themes out there: beaver builder, divi, elementor, etc. Choose the one that is best for you. In my opinion, Pro is the one that not only allows for the most intuitive workflow but it is one that clients love to use. Give it a try.

**What problems is ThemeCo Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ThemeCo's Pro is literally the framework that we offer every new Web Design client. It allows us to rapidly design / prototype our client sites and cuts out a lot of the lag between design and development. It's also just a freaking blast to use.
