It's easier to use that other similar programs and there are lots of layouts and options to choose from. Tons of clip art. The possibilities really are endless but my favorite use is greeting cards and invitations. You can save a ton of money if you teach yourself to make these commonly purchased and overpriced items! **Recommendations to others considering The Print Shop:** I would definitely consider purchasing if you are hoping to be able to put together really professional greeting cards and invitations. This program is perfect for that. But he was not well to do work so he just sent his file to us and told to change whatever you want . But none of us were having knowledge of how to use publisher . At that time someone said she is knowing how to use the print shop if she can get a file in that format.So that designer guy sent a converted file and after that all gone smoothly as it was very easy to use services of print shop .At that time we don't have any softwares available of The Print Shop so we downloaded crack version . But after use of it now our whole magazine work is doing in this software only .Also now we are having 60-70 systems having licenced version of it ! ### 13. This software offers the similar functionality of adobe photoshop, however, it is much easier to learn. It is easy to design smaller projects and proof of concepts. It offers a nice and easy interface to design labels, birthday cards, business cards and calendars. Another best feature of this software is all the templates available are of high quality. **What do you dislike about The Print Shop?** As I said, this software is good for college assignments and small projects. It lacks layer editing, layer manipulation etc. which are present in the famous photo editing tools like Photoshop. Since it is less famous, there are no proper tutorials and documentation available to learn this software. **Recommendations to others considering The Print Shop:** This software is best suited for small projects. Broderbund's ever popular Print Shop still proves to hold the market in a very affordable, production powerhouse multi media printing/graphics software. It seems to also get stuffed even more with quality layouts, multi purpose, banners, improved quick photo editing apps every year! As most users of Print Shop know, there is always an extensive and rewarding array of diverse newsletters, resumes, cards, presentational layouts, etc. that one can create with an added shared interface that is much appreciated by the Broderbund developers. I'm currently using this affordable software in my own freelance work (version 3.5) along with the 'professional' and very pricey photo applications such as Adobe's Photoshop & Corel to name a few. My clients cannot tell the difference! *Shhh* so don't say anything either, as it's also a graphics industry secret. **What do you dislike about The Print Shop?** Some have complained about the installation time of this otherwise great software that has still stood the test of graphic printing time, and also when using it sometimes it tends to also slow down depending on which applications are currently being used. I have noticed this too, when say, trying to work in the shared interface which can tend to become a little heavy, but not much. It never slow down to a noticeable crawl which is cool! Other than that possible issue for people that are pretty picky, DON"T BE. The benefits more than outweigh the tiny glitches of this still amazing printing product after all these years! **Recommendations to others considering The Print Shop:** I would also recommend a small program such as 'SpringPublisher' which is free unless you want to spend a little more to get the upgrade (though there is not much else in the latter to probably warrant that) Also, there is a 'Print Shop Deluxe' one can upgrade to also for about 10 more dollars which is still a bargain considering even more added graphics presentation features galore too!
