What do you like best about The Free Website Guys?

The whole experience with The Free Website Guys was quite remarkable. Having had costly estimates from elsewhere for the build of the site, to find a team that combines professionalism, enthusiasm and prompt delivery in the way they do, at such a low cost – just the hosting and third-party costs – was a real highlight of our business launch journey.

Working with them was a pleasure – the steps of the process, from setting up hosting, to redirecting existing domains through to answering both basic and complex questions was done in a supportive way without any attempt to minimise their time – the focus was clearly quality of outcome. What do you dislike about The Free Website Guys?

They appear to prioritize mass outreach over meaningful connection. Instead of taking a few seconds to check if someone actually needs a website, they send the same pitch to everyone.

It’s lazy, impersonal, and frankly insulting to professionals who already do this work.

What problems is The Free Website Guys solving and how is that benefiting you?

In theory, they’re solving the problem of affordability for people who need a website but can’t build one themselves. That would be great, if they actually targeted the right audience. In my case, I am a web developer. I build websites for a living. Being pitched a “free website” out of nowhere, by someone who clearly didn’t read my profile, wasted my time and left a bad impression.
