TeuxDeux reminds you what you still need to do. Forget you're trying to cram in 11 things today. You are only supposed to do 5. Focus on 5 things, and do them one at a time. When you finish 5, pick another 5. Focusing on one at a time makes your day so much better. **What do you dislike about TeuxDeux?** In my experience with the TeuxDeux app, I find the mobile feature for moving tasks to another day to be more user-friendly compared to the web client's drag and drop method. Its supper. The UI (User Interface) of this app is absolutely perfect, clean, eye-catching, and smooth for every user. I daily use this app for adding my listings. Also, I can easily operate my lists. I can manage all of the lists from the cross-platform. I can access this app from any device. Because the WEB UI is just supper. Also, the Mac/IOS/Android versions are super! I am just incredible about using all of the versions of this app. It's super, perfect. I can easily use my own color combination because It has color customization features. Also, the Drug and Drops listing feature is very comfortable for making new lists. The Dark mode is super! Also, the Daily Digest feature is pretty good. So, you can easily manage your listings using TeuxDeux. The subscription is reasonable for every user! So, Enjoy using this App. **What do you dislike about TeuxDeux?** I have no complaints about TeuxDeux. Because it's super smooth. But I have some requests to add some features. Just like the need to add Reminder options for most relevant uses performance. Also need to add a friendly printing feature and need to add export PDF listings to the PRO package. It's super hassle-free. I can access it from my all devices. This app's online version is awesome. I can access my lists or to-do from anywhere! I can use it (web version) from my office desk. I like that the tasks automatically roll forward if you don't complete them all, so that way you are sure you don't miss anything by mistake. I also like the fact that they support markdown (being able to bold certain tasks so they pop into view), which not a lot of other apps do. **What do you dislike about TeuxDeux?** I don't like the fact that they don't have an Android App, they only have one for iPhones. It has days of the week shown as boards and your different areas or lists are just bellow. Very minimalistic. You can create an "Inbox List" and list for your other areas such as "Work, Personal, Studies, etc." After which, you can just simply click and drag from your inbox to your other areas, then after that, from your different areas, you can click and drag going to your tasks on each day of the week to get things done. GTD system can truly work here. **What do you dislike about TeuxDeux?** It only has an iPhone app which can work well but only shows one list at a time or a timeline of your tasks for the following days to come. I use the web on desktop as it is more intuitive. Very nice and easy to use on desktop. No android app, and web version on Android doesn't work well. **What problems is TeuxDeux solving and how is that benefiting you?** GTD. Getting things done in a simple way. It replaced my paper planner which solves one of my problems to go paperless. ### 13. The wonderful thing about TeuxDeux is that it represents tasks along a timeline very effectively. Though this can be seen as just columns of tasks, it makes it really easy to see tasks within a chronological context. The bottom row of columns allow you to create buckets of tasks which you can customize to fit your needs. For e.g. one could be an inbox for you to do a braindump of tasks, another could be a list of tasks waiting on for someone. You can very easily drag tasks to any date above or to other columns. When a task is done, just click on it and it is striked out. **What do you dislike about TeuxDeux?** It does not offer an Android app and its mobile web app leaves much to be desired. This greatly limits its use to just one platform (for me, on my mac). This has not progressed at all over the years. **Recommendations to others considering TeuxDeux:** TeuxDeux works better for individuals than companies as it does not offer collaboration features. **What problems is TeuxDeux solving and how is that benefiting you?** Teuxdeux helps me to plan my life effectively while taking into consideration the text context, not just things to do now that tasks that are upcoming. David Allen's groundbreaking productivity book GETTING THINGS DONE taught us that. Context is what makes the difference, whether it's by project or context or some other way to put "hard edges" around a list. In other words, what you DON'T want to do is comingle these things. It yanks you mentally out of context if you have items for the workplace mixed with stuff like, "clean the garage." TEUXDEUX gives you a visual way to see your tasks separated in this manner. The TOP region organizes actions according to DATE, like a weekly calendar. The BOTTOM region is the staging area, where you can create an unlimited number of these distinct lists, arranged visually as separate columns. You can have one for Work, one for Errands, or whatever you want to name them. Best of all, it's spartan and attractive and easy to use. Try it for yourself and see how you like it! **What do you dislike about TeuxDeux?** For those of us who are accustomed to the calendar flexibility of Outlook or Google Calendar, the week at a glance may feel stifling. However, this constraint can be its power because it sets a finite number of things before us, at least finite in what we can view at a given time. So, beautiful as the interface is, you have to embrace its constraints, as well. **Recommendations to others considering TeuxDeux:** TO DO managers are a fussy thing - you have to find one that "fits". Very much a Goldilocks experience because the functionality might be right, but the look and feel may not work for you, or some other sticking point. It's important to "date" many such apps before diving in. TEUX DEUX has a free trial, so give it a whirl! **What problems is TeuxDeux solving and how is that benefiting you?** The problem of finding a system that WORKS for me personally is always the challenge. I've found that this one works well for me with its GTD (Getting Things Done) compatible system of listing actions. ### 19. This app was created by designers and it's apparent and lovely! Most to do apps are cluttered and hard on the eyes. This one is also extremely simple but effective. I love that it has a to do section for every day of the week as well as ones that you can create as you wish. I literally have a to do list for everything, some aren't exactly things I need to do but rather just lists of things such as my groceries, things I've lent to friends and home projects. Another great feature about these lists (at least the ones that you create on your own) is how you can cross it off and it won't disappear but just sit there until u uncross it--you can of course delete it if you want as well! But this is helpful for stuff like grocery lists since you usually buy a lot of the same things! They also have a recurring to do's feature, which I have yet to use but I think it's cool. Another cool thing is their stats!! It shows you how many things you've done in a month, your best hour, month, day, etc! Prett-y neat :) **What do you dislike about TeuxDeux?** I wish I could change the font to my own liking, like if they had Google fonts attached to this, as well as my own custom color theme with color codes--since you can still choose your own color now but it's just with a color picker eyedropper tool. Another thing I wish is that I could move my "to do boards" more easily. The layout could be better but I don't mind it that much, as this is my second year using this app and I intend on remaining to use it. **Recommendations to others considering TeuxDeux:** Do the free trial before you decide to commit and try out some other apps. Sometimes this level of simplicity just isn't for everyone! But if you're a designer or lover of aesthetics, this is by far one of the easiest of the eyes! **What problems is TeuxDeux solving and how is that benefiting you?** Getting things done in an orderly manner! It's nice that the to do will carry over into the next day if you havent crossed it off -- just in case you might've forgotten about it. It's a very simple task list manager that gives you a view of your upcoming week of to-dos and a few lists of "Someday" items. It's lightweight, quick to navigate, and easy to read. There are tons of task managers out there, but so many of them add clutter that is not needed for actually keeping track of tasks. TeuxDeux is as simple as having a paper checklist on your desk, but it's on the web and stays in sync across devices. **What do you dislike about TeuxDeux?** TeuxDeux's features are very simple, which will be a turn-off for some people. It's not for everyone. Personally, I enjoy the clean and uncomplicated nature of it, but it could use the ability to expand a to-do item and add notes. Oh, and there is only an iOS app, although mobile web browsers deal with the web version quite well. **What problems is TeuxDeux solving and how is that benefiting you?** TeuxDeux is an excellent choice for people who want an app for creating (to-do) lists. It does one thing but does it extremely well. I use it every day. Adding and removing tasks is a breeze, and so is creating additional lists. I use TeuxDeux not only for my weekly to-dos, but also for lists of books, interesting links and articles, ideas, plans etc. I know that there are dedicated apps for that, but having everything in one place appeals to me.
