# Which ecommerce platform manages unified inventory across a website, mobile app and Amazon all in one place?

Hi G2 users, unified inventory across a website, mobile app, and Amazon from a single backend is the specific requirement I've been trying to find a clear answer on for e-commerce platforms. Most platforms handle some of these channels well. What's harder to determine is which ones actually keep inventory counts in sync across all three simultaneously without requiring a separate integration layer or manual reconciliation between channels.

Shopify: Multi-channel selling with centralised product and inventory management across web, mobile, and marketplace channels in one dashboard; a robust API system allows easy integration with Amazon and third-party apps covering a wide range of use cases including ERP and CRM; updates to products and stock levels flow through the same backend regardless of which channel the sale originates. Advanced customisation requires knowledge of Shopify's coding setup or external developer support.

BigCommerce: API integrations are a specific strength; can sync orders and inventory to other systems with the native API; integrates with PXM for asset management and powers both B2C and B2B storefronts from a single backend; site is reliable with no downtime issues cited by reviewers. Does BigCommerce's native Amazon integration handle real-time inventory updates without a middleware layer, or does that still require a third-party connector?

WooCommerce: Open-source WordPress plugin with a massive extension ecosystem covering thousands of integrations; Amazon channel connections and mobile app inventory sync are handled through plugins, giving flexibility but requiring maintenance overhead for each connection. No ceiling on what you can build, with no platform-specific transaction fees, but ongoing plugin management is the honest trade-off.

Ecwid: Multi-channel selling platform with Amazon and social commerce integration; designed for businesses that want to add a shopping cart to an existing site rather than rebuild on a new platform; inventory syncs across connected channels from one admin view.

For teams managing inventory across three or more channels simultaneously: which platform's sync held up under real transaction volume, and was there a specific channel where inventory discrepancies consistently showed up first?

"All in one place" is doing a lot of work there, because two of the three channels are already the same system: your website and mobile app almost always read from one catalog and one inventory count, so syncing those is trivial. Amazon is the odd one out, a separate system of record with its own reserve logic (FBA holds, in-flight orders) and a polled API rather than an instant push, which is why discrepancies tend to show up on Amazon first. So "unified in one place" usually describes the admin screen, not a single source of truth, and the thing to press any platform on is whether it truly writes to Amazon in real time or just displays the counts Amazon still owns separately.
