It is very straightforward and checks their online presence and history to determine the likelihood of fraud. It is quick and usually pretty accurate. Their customer service is also very helpful and knowledgeable. They offer services for reference checks as well, however, we only use the verification aspect of the tool. **What do you dislike about Terefic?** It does not catch/show potential matches for nicknames/other accounts. For example, John/Jonathan Smith. You may have to run both names as two searches to ensure you cover your bases. It would be nice if it could correlate the two. It is difficult to get an accurate usage/activity report per user, as activity is transferred when an account changes hands. **What problems is Terefic solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use Terefic more for candidate verification. Terefic helps our recruiters to identify potential fraud before submitting them to our clients, ultimately mitigating the chance of moving forward with a fake or unqualified candidate. In the report, sometimes information is not true, and the score is based on that false information. **What problems is Terefic solving and how is that benefiting you?** In Terefic, we learn about the background of the profile, the authenticity of the profile's email ID, all the background information of the candidate, and whether the candidate's location is accurate. The report is almost accurate, which helps us differentiate whether the profile is fake or genuine. ### 3.
