What we like best about Tenna is how easy it makes it to track our equipment, schedule preventative maintenance, and stay on top of fleet health. The platform is very user-friendly and helps us save time and reduce downtime across our projects. We also really appreciate the support team, especially Elizabeth, our rep, who is always quick to respond, provides clear guidance, and genuinely cares about helping our team succeed.

**What do you dislike about Tenna?**

Like any technology, there are occasional glitches or issues that come up. However, Tenna’s support team is quick to respond and resolve them, which makes a big difference. Their responsiveness and commitment to improvement show that they truly care about their customers.

**What problems is Tenna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tenna has been a great solution for improving how we manage repairs and preventative maintenance workflows. It also gives our field employees an easy way to report issues when they have equipment problems, ensuring nothing slips through the cracks. As a Fleet Platform Administrator, I’ve found Tenna to be an invaluable asset to our operations. The platform stands out for its ease of use, making it accessible to team members across varying levels of technical expertise. **What do you like best about Tenna?**

I appreciate the frequent enhancements made to Tenna which significantly improve navigation and periodic usage, especially as someone who uses it extensively throughout the day. The reporting capabilities of Tenna are incredibly useful, particularly at the end of the month for reviewing equipment hours, field usages, and mechanic time cards. I find Tenna to be a valuable tool for managing equipment and handling dispatch tasks. It also makes it easier to run reports and maintain accurate records.

I wish there was an option to add certain assets, like shoring, without having to complete all the required fields. It would be helpful if the system allowed for more flexibility in cases where not all information is necessary.

Right now, we are in the process of updating all the trackers and making sure they are functioning properly.

One downfall to Tenna has been getting the permissions to cooperate. There’s definitely a lot and I need certain people to have certain access.

I find Tenna incredibly valuable in addressing our equipment tracking needs. The platform has transformed how we monitor vehicle and equipment locations, eliminating manual checks and improving operational efficiency. The diagnostic tool impresses me with its ability to enhance troubleshooting, and the customer service, especially the responsive account manager, is outstanding.

I wish that there was a mechanism to ensure the hardware ordered is always a perfect match with our equipment which has not always been the case. Somewhat rare occurrence, but can be difficult to remedy.

Inability to arrange equipment into numerical order

**Recommendations to others considering Tenna:**

There are many choices of equipment currently available on the market. What I like about TENNA is that it was developed by a contractor who knows what other contractors are looking for.

**What problems is Tenna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

During the demo period, we had a new mini excavator stolen and were able to recover it due to the Tenna program. It tracked it from our site showing routes taken and travel speeds right to where the thief had hidden it. It is an excellent add on to the OEM tracking systems as the first thing a thief does is disable the OEM system

I believe the most helpful things with Tenna are the QR codes. They are simple and easy to use plus when an EQ number has been worn off you can scan the QR code to find it in the system.

I have had a few times where I was transferring equipment to another location, and it would not allow me to click on the site box.

It is helping our Company with creating new items in the system and helping us keep up with the location of the items.

**What do you like best about Tenna?**

Maintenance has been a game changer for our company.  We are able to have field employees enter requests and let the shop know what is wrong.  It has really helped our communication and efficiency when sending out field mechanics.  We have been able to send our mechanics to the jobs that really need the help.  I love that Tenna takes customers comments and makes changes.  I have seen awesome updates based on what I have asked for in the past 3 years.  They really go care about the customer and the customers needs.

We would love the ability to remotely turn off equipment.

Communication between field and shop and asset tracking.

**What do you like best about Tenna?**

User -friendly, detailed asset tracking, super great customer service!  Tenna has created an asset managment system that allows full control for the users.  You can manage your equipment, keep track of your maintenance records, create work orders, manage all your assets, and the list goes on!  Also, very important to note:  this platform is very user friendly, and easy for our crew in the field to use.  Superior customer service, and very creative development team who listens to the customers for recommendations or changes to the app.

**What do you dislike about Tenna?**

You cannot change the "available or in use status" on the  PHONE app- only online.

It is limited on the dashboard for customization options.

**Recommendations to others considering Tenna:**

Excellent software and support team.
The perfect way to organize, manage and maintain your asset and equipment.
User-friendly, easy to navigate and helps reduce costs in the field
Great tracking equipment, tools, etc.

Ability to track assets and find assets in the field.  Being able to go to one site and locate tools, equipment, etc. 
How much money we have wasted by purchasing the same tools (repeated buys).

Be able to see everything in one place a not have to go to different web sites to collect information

**What do you dislike about Tenna?**

1- When a maintenance request is submitted by the field or a mechanic and you what to create a work order you have to put all the information in to make the work order. The information from the request should be transfer automatically to the work order with the option to edit the information. 
 2-When a maintenance request is created for a repair or a pm everything get mix and you loose track of the repair. I thing the should be a tab for PM and tab for repairs. this will give the option to shoose what we want to see at the moment.

Tenna's work order system along with telematics information has allowed us to centralize and modernize the managment of our equipment fleet.  Prior to using Tenna, everything was very manual and paper based.  Tenna has given visibility to all parties including project staff to understand the status of the equipment including work orders, inspections, locations, etc.

Tenna's software is constantly evolving which is a good thing.  Some additional ease of use enhancements surrounding user management and rental equipment managment would be helpful.

**What do you like best about Tenna?**

Tenna is very user freindly, if you can not find the answer to your question with the help menu, a team member is a phone call away. After we signed up with Tenna, a technician came out and showed all our staff and mechanics how to properly install the units and gave us tips on navigating the Tenna website. We use Tenna everyday, and I keep the website open on my computer all day. There are so many features we use for our service department, besides location. I highly recommend Tenna to anyone managing a fleet. We have over 200 trucks, trailers and heavy equipment we use the gps units on.

It does not integrate with some of our software, but that is on our end and not Tennas.

**What problems is Tenna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The top two reasons we use Tenna is for location, and to keep track of our hours/miles for maitenance.

Best part is the ability to manage a fleet both in and outside the office. The product support is second to none. Ease of use, easy to install and relocate to other pieces of equipment.

All systems have their good and bad points, Tennas good points outweigh any of the bad points. I dont have any real bad talking points about the Tenns products we use.

I know where the fleet is at and as we use the Tenna products mainly on owned units it enables us to track all aspects of the fleet such as work orders, parts orders, services due, utilization and map view of work location.

That it relies on cell phone service. AT&T specifically. In our area they are the weakest, We have more pieces of equipment and trucks that i can't track than I like. Pretty useless in low service areas.

Tenna keeps track of all our fleet vehicle and equipment.  It has a good map for viewing of equipment.  We can input DVIR's.

**What do you dislike about Tenna?**

The trackers can be spotty - providing poor information - so analytics are not accurate.  Have not had great success with customer follow through.  Dispatch module is very expensive.  Usable reports and exports are not great.  After a seemingly good start to implementation - problems with customer service.  You pay for trackers that don't work and have to be shipped across the country.  There needs to be a better solution for this.

Great all around for fleet management - we love the Procore integration

I'm able to see where equipment is at any time and we have significantly reduced our operating expenses by minimizing the amount of rental equipment.  We also have a much better understanding of what equipment is most used and we can redirect our CapEx dollars to those needs instead of randomly purchasing equipment we "thought" we needed.

**What do you dislike about Tenna?**

Locating the QR codes on equipment that we ship across the country in shipping cases has been a challenge.  It would be worth considering NFC or other cheap technology that could be picked up by an iphone or similar device.

Take time on the front end to set up the system.  Tenna is very helpful in getting the initial rollout started, but having an accurate list of equipment being tracked and having foresight on how it will be used is critical.

I love being able to know where my equipment is and how long it operated on each job and each month. I also like knowing if equipment has been sitting for too long.

I wish there was a better way to track how much fuel was used by each piece of equipment. It would be nice to know how much fuel is used by the foremen's pickup trucks.

-inability to transfer sites for online trackers

I would, without a doubt, recommend implementing Tenna! There are so many features to take advantage of. Upon implementation, I would recommend daily use to help yourself become familiar and stick close with your customer service rep and ask questions as needed to become comfortable and be able to use it to get the most out of it as you can.

**What problems is Tenna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our invoicing is completed with much more ease and accuracy since the installation of our Tenna trackers. We also are able to look back on vehicles when questioning clock in or out time and location of our crews. We have found Tenna to be a great asset storage database, in which we can pull reports for financial review, as needed. We also are finally productively using the maintenance requests and entrys aspect - which has been very helpful with keeping up on preventative maintenance and overall service and repairs needed on our equipment.

Tenna's customer support team is always ready and available to assist. They listen to the problems and always strive for an accurate solution. When solutions were not present right away, our concerns were then moved into the improvement cycle.

The initial sales process set up some inaccurate expectations that placed an extra burden on the excellent customer support team. The maintenance suite is a bit light.

When trackers work they are helpful. The Info that you can store is also helpful.

Cannot get help when trackers fail. Units not in correct location due to tracker failure.

**What do you like best about Tenna?**

Being able to located our assets in real time across our jobsites.  It saves us time making phone calls to our Superintendents when needing to coordinate equipment moves.

**What do you dislike about Tenna?**

The QRcode tags that are attached to the buckets are not very resilient and are hard to read once an excavator bucket has been operated for a while.  Another way of mounting the tags would be a great improvement.

**What problems is Tenna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have been able to efficiently locate our equipment and attachments across our job sites and helped our dispatcher and low bed driver know where the pieces of equipment are that need to be moved.

The whole process, from the initial call to the implementation of assets and trackers, has been a breeze with the help of Justin and Josh. They really work along side of you to make sure you are ready to go come install day.

Haven't had a single issue so I can't say I dislike anything. They really have gone above and beyond for us.
