I recently had my Twillio account hacked and yea that is an entriely different story. I heard of Telnyx since they first stared but never had a reason to switch unti now. They have a very beautiful platform that is great on the eyes, very great documentation and the customer support gets to you in a timely manner. Even though I have oly had a few issues, they were all resolved very fast to help me get started. **What do you dislike about Telnyx IoT?** Right now i do not have any complaints. That does mean I am saying telnyx is perfect but at the moment they are geat. **What problems is Telnyx IoT solving and how is that benefiting you?** They are helping me puchase numbers to contact my customers for my services and products. ### 3. This is super helpful for making sure our backup modems for phone systems work. Once the sim cards arived it was super easy to add them to my accound and activeate them. While we don't use them too much, when we need them they are beyond handy! **What do you dislike about Telnyx IoT?** The data pricing is a little high in my opinion. I wish you could set a zone sutch as as country or state and have a lower fee. **What problems is Telnyx IoT solving and how is that benefiting you?** Super easy to deploy sim and esim cards that run on multiple networks for a expected rate. ### 4. I have converted several companies to them as well. Thier support is unmatched, the setup is very user friently, and the service is incredible. I initially moved all of my number from Vonage to Telnyx, and use 3CX on premis as the PBX. Even though they are no longer listed as a prefered SIP provider, they are still better than anyone else I have used. The user implementation was almost seamless. For the first time, our users are finally able to rely on thier business numbers full time, and use them all of the time. When I heard about the IOt offering, I hopped right on it because of the flexibility. Will be impementing more. I cant reccomend them enough. **What do you dislike about Telnyx IoT?** I was an early adopter, so the documentation at that time wasnt as strong as it is now. At that time, it took a bit to implement, but once i understood, we handled it all in house. There is a team of real people with significant tehcnical expertise who collectively reply within 12 hours, and always with a well thought through solution. All the customer service reps have proper access to my account and are authorised to actually make changes, unlike bots or outsourced customer service I have encountered with other services. The products are good and pretty easy to use. I have used the international IoT sims in UK and Ghana with reliable service in each. **What do you dislike about Telnyx IoT?** There is a lot of security. I know this is probably necessary for big users, but I am working with tens of devices so it seems a bit uneccesary. Shipping can be challenging, but this is not really the fault of Telnyx. I tried to have sims shipped to Accra, Ghana, but they only arrived after three attempts. To be fair to Telynx, they kept trying and didn't charge me for the replacements. **What problems is Telnyx IoT solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use the sims to connect sensors to the internet to provide real-time water level and rainfall data which we use for early warning systems, e.g., for flooding. We have done this in UK and Ghana. We send the data direct to ThingsBoard, which we then embed in websites. The sims are super easy to use, and device management is also easy. ### 6. Depending on how many of these features you use in concert with one another, it can take time to fully understand and optimize for a deep integration. This complexity might require additional training or support, especially for teams new to managing multiple communication tools simultaneously. Also, I'd love to see Telnyx add support for WiFi calling. Of course Telnyx does have great support for VoIP, but Telnyx does not currently support traditional Wi-Fi calling. This limitation can be a drawback for businesses that operate in areas with weak cellular coverage or rely heavily on Wi-Fi networks to maintain communication. Without Wi-Fi calling, there’s a greater dependence on cellular data, which could lead to higher costs or connectivity issues in environments where Wi-Fi would otherwise be a more reliable option. **What problems is Telnyx IoT solving and how is that benefiting you?** Telnyx is helping us address several critical challenges by delivering significant cost savings, particularly through the affordable bulk shipping of IoT SIM cards. I use Telnyx for GPS tracking for my dog. I pay a $2/month subscription and then literally pennies for the data usage. Also, the detailed portal is a plus as it provides several different reports such as Usage, Billing, and pricing matrixes. **What do you dislike about Telnyx IoT?** One thing I disliked is the set up process of the SIM card. The instructions were not very clear and even when I spoke with an agent, we couldn't get it set up. It took awhile, but since then it works well. One more thing, and I'm not sure if it's the SIM card or the GPS device I have, but the app supporting the tracker has a delay in updating at times. Again, this may just be the tracker and nothing to do with Telnyx. **What problems is Telnyx IoT solving and how is that benefiting you?** Not necessarily business related. They also take your feedback seriously and if it is something the platform does not have, they have it ready made in less than 5 business days. The onboarding team also helped us easily transition from another "red button" iot provider to the Telnyx platform. **What do you dislike about Telnyx IoT?** There is a certain limitations for sim card shipment if your not located in the USA. Other than that, no complaints. **What problems is Telnyx IoT solving and how is that benefiting you?** Telnyx is helping us solve IOT device connectivity, where we needed a solution that would work with cross-border connectivity. The support I've received has been great, although a couple of times I've experienced outages that took a long time to resolve.
