Tech River Reviews & Provider Details

Tech River is a Minneapolis-based managed service provider specializing in IT and cybersecurity for medical device, life sciences, and manufacturing companies. Founded with deep roots in the medical device industry, Tech River brings compliance-ready IT expertise to regulated environments where uptime, data integrity, and security aren't optional. Unlike large MSPs that route clients through call centers and account rotations, Tech River operates on a dedicated model. Each client gets a named IT resource, regular onsite visits, and direct access to senior expertise rather than a help desk queue. That structure has produced a track record most MSPs can't claim: 100% client retention over 16-plus years and a five-star rating across every client review. Services include fully managed and co-managed IT, cybersecurity, Microsoft 365 administration, and compliance-aligned infrastructure support. Tech River's team of 12 supports more than 2,500 users across Minnesota and the broader Medical Alley ecosystem. The team brings particular depth in HIPAA, FDA quality system regulations, 21 CFR Part 11, and the NIST Cybersecurity Framework -- the compliance landscape that medical device and life sciences companies navigate every day. That regulatory literacy isn't a sales point. It's baked into how Tech River designs, manages, and documents client environments. When an audit happens or an FDA inspection is on the calendar, clients aren't scrambling to pull together documentation or explain IT controls to an assessor. The groundwork is already there. For companies where IT has to work and compliance has to hold, Tech River delivers proactive support and personal service without the overhead or impersonal experience of a national provider. Fixed, all-inclusive pricing and a relationship-first operating model mean clients always know what they're paying and who to call.
