I use TE almost daily.

The features I use most often are picture identification, class schedule, groups, parent information

I was not involved in the implementation or integration of TE. My understanding from the administration is that it was very easy to re-integrate and implement us back to TeacherEase Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I feel it was the original implementation by our database clerk that made searching a challenge. Students may have multiple last names and they are entered in various forms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The gradebook is the redeeming quality of Teacherease. It's pretty easy to use, but it could be better. I wish they had an app or some features that are present in other gradebooks. It's not bad though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Teacherease is financially shady. They refused to refund our payment despite the fact that we requested the refund 2 months prior to the school year starting. Moreover, they refused to answer our calls or respond to our emails as soon as they learned that we wanted a refund. Whenever we did manage to get in touch with them, they delayed endlessly, escalating the issue needlessly from one person to the next all over nothing more than a simple refund to a service we never even used. We've been contacting them via calls and emails daily trying to get a response for about a month now, and now our school has to deal with the fact that this company is essentially stealing thousands of dollars from us in the midst of a pandemic. Unbelievable.

Beyond that, Teacherease is not the best, and here's why:

Cost: they cost more than you think. There's a lot of supplemental features that cost extra but are necessary to running an online SIS administration. If you're looking for a central attendance system or data management, for example, be prepared to dish out extra money.

User-Friendliness: The system is far from user friendly. It takes a lot more clicks than necessary to get where you want to go.

Customizability: Teacherease does not offer much customizabililty unfortunately. It's is pretty limited in its scope compared to the competition.

Customer Service: Getting in touch with customer service is toilsome. Average wait times are about 10-15 minutes. With other companies, wait times are generally 1-2 minutes.

Do yourself a favor and go with another SIS. Teacherease is not a company to do business with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It has a great grading system, and it's pretty easy to add assignments and grades. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's not entirely intuitive. I find myself clicking through a few options before I find what I'm actually looking for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that we are able to do everything in the same place. We can take attendance in one section. In another section we can put the grades in the grade book. We can also look up each students schedules in Teacherease. I also like how you can add in other teachers into your gradebook. That way we can both look at our students grades if we are co-teaching. It is easy to use. It has an incredible grade book setup that shows in detail information about students, grades, assistance, email to parents, learning targets, rubrics. You have the chance to see a progress report that teachers have to do. Also, you can follow the grades that students have and analyze their performing. As a teacher, I have the chance to see what assignments students are missing, what failed tasks they have. Therefore, I can follow up with them for their best learning experience.
