## About tab32
tab32 is a cloud-native, all-in-one dental practice management platform built for solo dentists and small-to-medium practices — and ready to grow with you as you add locations. Built on Google Cloud from day one, not a legacy desktop system retrofitted for the web, tab32 brings scheduling, clinical charting, digital imaging (X-rays), billing and claims, payments, and patient communication together in a single system. There's no server to maintain, no IT contracts, and no long-term commitment, so your team can work from anywhere and stay current with automatic updates. Pricing starts at $125/month and includes a free 14-day trial, and practices switching from Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, and 20+ other systems migrate their data in days. tab32 also offers PiAI — pay-per-use AI services including voice charting, voice perio, real-time insurance verification, ERA/EOB auto-posting, and AI radiology powered by Pearl.ai — so smaller practices get enterprise-grade automation without enterprise pricing. More than 13 million patients, 17.2 million appointments, and 100 million X-rays are managed on tab32 today.

## tab32 Reviews
 ### 1. Ambitious Platform but no longer affordable for us.

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2026

**What do you like best about tab32?**

Tab 32 is ambitious and initially provided a one-stop shop for communication, xrays, EMR and insurance verifiation

**What do you dislike about tab32?**

Key features such as insurance verification have been moved to a pay-per-click basis which add on an average of $100/day ($0.75/verification) on top of monthly fee. These were previously included in the base fee. New AI features are also on a pay per click basis. Also, lack of communication regarding non-working features. For example, the secure mail feature now only works if the receiving referral office can use a cell phone for verification. This change was not communicated to us until we wasted time sending numerous reports to our referral offices and we made a ticket. Also, patients not able to open attachments sent as zip files. Initial included offerings such as bulk payment entering have been deprecated in favor of pay-per click posting. The scheduler functions have not been updated to be fully functional when searching for an appointment. Unlike most other programs, a search only gives one appointment option with limited parameters.

**What problems is tab32 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tab32 has been dealing with changes in outside vendors and their answer has been to increase user costs through the pay per click model to offset new vendor costs. In general the changes they have made have not addressed issues that we experience as a single location non AI office.

 ### 2. Efficient Dental Practice Management with All-in-One Features

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jim O. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 21, 2026

**What do you like best about tab32?**

I really appreciate the pricing and the value I get with tab32. Unlike other software that offer less, I pay less with tab32 for more features. I like the lot of technology integration it offers, such as the built-in X-ray imaging and built-in photos. The support is also pretty good when I need it, which is something I value.

**What do you dislike about tab32?**

I think some things with the ledger could be easier said than done. Just how you organize the ledger or treatment planning, which you're planning is a problem in all software. It's just not something easy. Little data cleanups here and there that could be fixed. I think one of the things that I would say would do is sub windows or tile windows. That way, you can look between stuff.

**What problems is tab32 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use tab32 because it's an all-in-one suite for our dental practice, accessible from anywhere. It simplifies patient communication, payments, and has built-in X-ray imaging. It's easy to use, requires little training, and everything is straightforward with point-and-click functionality.

 ### 3. Tab 32 dental software

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David D. | Dental Laboratory Technician, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 08, 2022

**What do you like best about tab32?**

many features that I need and is highly configurable, which makes me feel like I can do anything and allows me to make processes unique

**What do you dislike about tab32?**

Nothing I can think of. Haven't been using the software long enough yet to have any issues.

**What problems is tab32 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Customer service is impeccable. Always willing to assist with any problems I've had.

 ### 4. Tab32 - Poor Support Services

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 13, 2021

**What do you like best about tab32?**

A large cloud based software that would allow my mobile dental business to scale larger

**What do you dislike about tab32?**

After a concise touch base call, which I later found out was my only person-to-person onboarding, Tab32 CS told my team to watch long videos as our training on using the Tab32 software. One-on-one training was always during the daytime ET hours. My team was working during this time and was not available to train. Tab32 did not answer our Questions promptly as they stated, it took 24-48 hours to answer a simple question through the Tab32 service.

**Recommendations to others considering tab32:**

Look for a cloud-based software program that offers you live training at a convenient time for you and your team. There are several out there Teledentix is excellent.

**What problems is tab32 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Tab32 is not a user-friendly software, and even by hiring a tech-savvy dental consultant that has worked with several dental software programs, we were unable to figure out the Tab32 software without one on one training. It was an expensive option with a poor training plan.

 ### 5. Tab Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joy F. | Dental Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2019

**What do you like best about tab32?**

This software system is very easy to use . I enjoy the router slips to help all staff members be on the same page as of what's being done for the day & what doctor is preferring for the next appointment. It's pretty self explanatory if you're new to the system , and making new features easy to find and use .

**What do you dislike about tab32?**

There's a few features I wish the software system had , for example; something we can use to dictate who's on a cancellation list & who's not , to see how many appointments a patient has no called / no showed , rescheduled, etc. without having to look into their appointment history . It would also be beneficial to get the insurance information on the appointment pop-up so We wouldn't have to go to the patient profile to see what type of insurance they have .

**Recommendations to others considering tab32:**

Works well for and it's constantly improving, it's a great software to get into and grow with.

**What problems is tab32 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tab32 is very easy to use & very self explanatory. However , unfortunately the system slows down tremendously at 3 pm when the internet starts to get slow . Also, the appoint scheduled box (in orange) always gets frozen on the screen so you have to go back to the schedule to remove it .
