**What do you like best about Syteca?**

Syteca offers a unified console that allows me to monitor users and also grant them access to the critical server within my organisation.
It also provides very flexible option for deployment either SaaS or on Prem, which made us easy in deploying the software with the help of support team.
we have integrated with our Siem solution to monitor.

**What do you dislike about Syteca?**

The pricing is somewhat higher in comparison, which can make things a bit challenging.

**What problems is Syteca solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With our employees working remotely, monitoring them used to be a major challenge. Since implementing syteca, we have been able to successfully oversee all employees from a single dashboard, which has also helped boost their productivity at the same time.

**What do you like best about Syteca?**

Systeca is the best solution when compared to other companies the agent is lightweight. This allows our users to run more on thier computers and IT to extend the lifecycle of our computers slightly more.
The UI is pretty self explanitory  and user friendly. Should something happen to your server dont sweat, information is stored on the Agents so you can allow everything to sync up when the server is fixed!
Support is pretty good and on top of things. After asking for a few months they added support for wayland desktops on linux instead of only x11. Updating the endpoints is pretty easy . Reports are very helpful when detailing how much work is actually worked in a workday

**What do you dislike about Syteca?**

SSO doesnt work quite right but perhaps there has been an update
Dealing with windows server IIS isnt fun, I'd rather a full linux server management experience.

At times, Ekran can be resource-intensive, particularly during large-scale recording sessions or when monitoring numerous endpoints simultaneously specially the storage. Optimizing performance to reduce system load would make it more efficient in resource-constrained environments.

**What do you like best about Syteca?**

There are many software that claim to do what Syteca does but no other software provides the exhaustive feature set as this one. The support we received from the customer support team was very helpful to address few system issues. The engineers were knowledgeable and they were easy to get hold off. The software itself was very to deploy and implement. We only use this software on limited number of systems so I cant speak about the scalability of this solution.

The brand name is not well known in the industry.

It allows us to record the screens which are useful in documenting a business process performed by key employees.

**What do you like best about Syteca?**

Pre-sales support is excellent. We had an issue during our proof of concept trial and support resolved the issue provided an update before the end of the proof of concept. 
Easy installation and deployment. I was able to complete the installation and deploy clients to over 150 workstations and servers in 3 days.

**What do you dislike about Syteca?**

Reporting is limited to pre-defined reports. They are open to request for other reports and did add new a few summary reports exportable in excel with only column headers for us to use with another reporting software.

**What problems is Syteca solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prior to Ekran System, we were using multiple solutions for user activity monitoring all which had less data retention and not as easy to search. With these previous solutions, to gather information to report on employee or vendor support activity was a multi-day task and required showing coorelation between information from multiple systems. Ekran System provides one place and only takes an hour or two at most to gather the data. The big benefit will be the summary excel report data which all us to do analysis of user activity, application used and websites accessed. This will help determine some medians for users based on position and location that will be provide to manager for them to be able to praise the high performers, coach those who fall below and identify those that only appear to working.

**What do you like best about Syteca?**

The combination of comprehensive services and easy in use. Ekran has a user-friendly interface and set of useful features like real-time monitoring, interactive dashboards, variety of password management settings, customizable alerts and automated notifications that all help us timely monitor and react to potential incidents. With Ekran, we no longer fear malicious actions caused by careless insiders. The Ekran solution even allows to record user sessions and check it in case of any potential risky occasion. Furthermore, we can always control security of the corporate infrastructure and analyze the monitoring results via numerous reports and interactive dashboards.

**What do you dislike about Syteca?**

Though I highly recommend Ekran for corporate security, the variety of features and ability to customize it, can be frustrating in case your business is strictly organized and your stuff needs time to learn it. However, Ekran has large knowledge base, where you can find any necessary information.

**What problems is Syteca solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ekran helped us more efficiently monitor user activities and prevent insider threats in real-time mode. It is especially beneficial in our case, when we have remote working employees and third-party contractors, who have access to our corporate infrastructure. One more crucial benefit is a robust reporting tool with dashboards that allow us instantly track sessions progress and analyze overall productivity.

**What do you like best about Syteca?**

As a Healthcare company we need to mitigate numerous risks to secure our sensitive data, protect our intellectual property as well as keep a high level of corporate reputation. That`s why we were searching for a sophisticated cybersecurity solution, which could apply our requests, reliably protect our infrastructure and align with industry compliance standards.

After considering several solutions, we chose Ekran System. Firstly, it has extensive functionality that completely covers all our needs. With Ekran we can effectively secure our corporate servers, monitor user activities, identify and promptly respond to potential incidents through auto-notifications, alerts and preset restrictions. It provides us with enhanced visibility into user activities, either internal employees or third-party accesses. We`ve implemented user groups with flexible configuration of access rights, automatic credential management and obligatory two-factor authentication. This represents just one facet of our successful experience with Ekran System. Secondly, Ekran aligns with all HIPAA security rules, a crucial milestone in meeting our objectives. A third benefit, which I personally appreciate, is is its extensive knowledge base documentation. Whether you seek a detailed user guide or an expert article to gain a deeper understanding of specific aspects, Ekran's documentation is comprehensive and readily accessible.

When utilizing any solution, there's often a desire to enhance or expand its capabilities. The Ekran team has consistently maintained open communication with us and has promptly addressed our requests for improvements or additions.

**What do you like best about Syteca?**

We had internally evaluated many platforms with the goal in mind of reducing the risk involved with 1st party and 3rd party vendor access, limit IP theft, and offer a “camera” into user activities and behavior. 

Main goals were to be able to deploy this globally across a mix of workstations, desktops, servers, jumpservers, and DaaS (Citrix/VMWare View). The Ekran system was the only one we tested that had was non invasive and did not interfere with the end user experience of our DaaS users. A single MSI file and 3 peices of information was all that was needed to get the system deployed once the alerts and pre-flight configurations were completed.

We noticed the other software vendors in this space were too expensive and not innovating enough and were rocking the same under the hood. After speaking with the Ekran team and product manager I felt that my suggestions were not only considered but actively put into the produc.

My team was very happy and surprised as how well Ekran integrated all the rich user metadata into our SIEM platform. This off label use is good as Ekran agent pulls in a lot of rich meta data that helps improve our cyber security posture.

The connection manager is also something that caught us by surprise and almost went unnoticed. We were able to lock down a vendor jumpserver (bastian server) turn on the “Ekran cameras”, and provide access to websites and internal RDP and SSH systems without the user ever having knowledge of the credentials. Very slick!

**What do you dislike about Syteca?**

The rules and alerts system is very robust but can be confusing. When we first deployed the platform we mistakenly created overlapping rules and alerts that actually broke some intended functionality. I felt that some internal logic should have existed that  should have prevented us from being able to break some of the alerts in that fashion. 

We also had some bugs with the MacOS agent with some missing gaps capturing text entered in certain applications. It was minor issue and happy it was eventually corrected.

**What problems is Syteca solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were able to control access to certain systems and record all activity when accessing these sensitive systems.

We are able to export a tresure trove of data (meta data and screen grabs) that identify the user and the action. Ultimatly as a detterant to IP theft and a way to share evidences to cyber and legal forensics easily.

We are able to hold 3rd party vendors (and internal staff) accountable for errors and omisions in the enviroment.

**What do you like best about Syteca?**

Financial institutions have a lot of sensitive data that requires stringent security measures. As a team lead of the IT department, I must ensure that our systems are adequately protected from cybersecurity threats. Ekran System completely fulfills our requirements for user monitoring. Its PAM capabilities provide us with control over critical privileged accounts and endpoint accesses, whether it involves internal privileged users or third-party users, thereby mitigating potential risks. Moreover, Ekran employs a lightweight, non-invasive agent which is seamlessly integrated with our existing infrastructure and requires minimal setup time.

**What do you dislike about Syteca?**

For future we would like to have more options in productivity monitoring and user behavior analysis.

I really like this tool, because it сan do anything you need regarding the network security, granting accesses to different categories of users, tracking and responding to potential incidents or monitoring activities of your employees. Ekran has a lot of useful features like to record and play user session, customizable alerts, automatic notifications, two-factor authentication and so on.
It has robust analytical capabilities, which includes classical reports and dashboards to view monitoring results in real-time.
One more thing I appreciate is customization. You can set complex rules for unique user activity scenarios such as opening a specific application, visiting a particular website, or typing certain words. Or set a tree view structure of secrets to gain control over most critical privileged accounts. It gives more control and comfort in using this solution.
I can appoint Ekran as a best choice due to quality-price balance.

I've had the pleasure of directly working with the team at Ekran for an integration between their solution and ours, Venn Secure Enclave.

I am a Product manager, so I tend to focus on problems to solve, and Ekran solved a myriad of problems when it comes to monitoring employee activity. I was impressed with the comprehensiveness and intuitivenss of their solution. It covers everything from recording and play back of screen activity and audio streams to alerting based on detected common cybersecurity threats like fraud and data leaks. 

You can customize your own for unique user activity scenarios such as keyword identification or external drive mounting. The analytics and reporting capabilities are as robust as the feature set, allowing you to analyze user behavior over time including how much time they spend within each application.

If you need to solve the employee monitoring challenge without breaking the bank or giving up critical features, Ekran is the solution I would leverage.

**What do you dislike about Syteca?**

The only thing I can think of is that it lacks multi-language support, but that isn't typically a problem.

**What problems is Syteca solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were looking for a comprehensive monitoring solution that would meet our customer's needs from a company that we could partner with. Our solution at Venn, the secure enclave, allows users to work from a personal device, while protecting company data and the applications that access it. Our customers needed to solve their employee monitoring challenges while using Venn, which specifically prevents apps outside of the enclave from seeing inside of it. We partnered with Ekran to give our customers the solution to their monitoring challenges, while protecting company data and maintaining employee's personal privacy.

**What do you like best about Syteca?**

We need to monitor external service providers configuring our internal databases, and Ekran System solves this issue from multiple perspectives: we are able to monitor their activity in real time, record each of their actions, provide secure access to sensitive endpoints, and block users if something doesn't go as planned. We've also started using Ekran System to monitor our system administrators to ensure accountability and reduce internal risks.
The benefits include a rich feature set, intuitiveness of use, a helpful support team, and fast implementation.

**What do you dislike about Syteca?**

The rule system for the alerting functionality is quite comprehensive, which may take some time to figure out at first. However, with some trial and error, it completely solved our need for automation of response actions.

Ekran perfectly tracks user sessions on all devices and servers and prevents potential threats. It is crucial if you have employees working from home or third-party users, who use your corporate infrastructure. You can even record sessions. In case of any potential threats system automatically sends security notifications to employees and administrators. The platform is quite simple to use. One more important aspect of Ekran is that they continuously improve functionality and customize the platform according to our requirements.

We're waiting for more possibilities in DLP.

**What problems is Syteca solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us monitor our internal employees` sessions as well as external vendors who have access to our system. We just set the appropriate access to users and in case of any troubles, system detects the possible threat and sends alerts.

Simple to use, monitoring and alerts help us identify users that require extra training, recordings help us minimize efforts to troubleshoot apps and user behaviours. Ekran support is good and thelp resolve most issues promptly.

**What do you dislike about Syteca?**

Only canned reporting is available from the management portal. Would love to have the ability to create our own reports from the management portal without having to resort to using Power BI due to the additional cost this presents.

Monitoring remote workers, identifying issues before they become a bigger problem, plus helping troubleshoot application crashes have saved IT countless hours of investigation.

Compare to any other similar solution it is very simple to use. They have a eloborate management console . Hey easy to install the agents on the end points.

They need improve their service calls and provide local support timings

Ekran helps us to manage our consultants. It also help us to generate productivity reports. It help us to manage the internal application usage by setting up the required parameters.
