I don’t think I have worked with many vendors, where our input is greatly received as much and helps shape roadmap ideas. You do not feel like a brand working with them at arms length in any way, but part of their team and I think that is really valuable, and sometimes completely missed with a lot of other vendors. The solution is easy, and ticked all the boxes for what we wanted and needed and we have seen some fantastic results from it as well. They push you as well as us pushing them, it’s a complete partnership with the same goals. They are focused on the right areas, have clear roadmaps that they share and are always releasing new things. Just love being a part of their team- as that is what it really feels like! **What do you dislike about Syte?** There isn’t really anything I can say I dislike about Syte- The only opportunity I would say would be for them to work on a solution for a more easier way to ingest the deep tags (AI attributions) into PIMs. **What problems is Syte solving and how is that benefiting you?** The biggest issue we faced, was to really personalized recommendations, we needed to provide vendors with enriched feeds, that included a lot more attributions than we could possibly ever do. With limited resources, and bad attribution data at source, we turned to Syte with their visual AI technology to fill that gap. With this, we were able to not only provide more visually similar product recommendations, but more personalized recommendations based on the detailed product attributes, and in turn, we used this enriched data in both the PIM and in SFCC, for search and filters across the site. ### 2. It allows the final users to find products in a different and complementary way to textual search. Furthermore, the Syte team is always available and very collaborative. In fact in general all the requests we make are taken in charge by the team. **What do you dislike about Syte?** There was some difficulty in enabling different accounts to the analytics dashboard. It would be nice to have no restrictions on these logins (different users should be able to access it). It would also be very useful to receive a manual that allows us to understand how to use these dashboards (however, a meeting was organized, where the Syte team explained how they works). Nothing else to report! **Recommendations to others considering Syte:** I advise it, I could only share positive feedback. **What problems is Syte solving and how is that benefiting you?** As said before, the Visual Search works well and it is very useful for the final user, in fact It allows to find products in a different and complementary way to textual search. It is easier for the final users to search and find products. The search through images can be more immediate and effective than the classic textual search. We are also considering to introduce the "shop similar" functionality in the product page. Also this feature could be useful for the final user (especially in case of out of stock product). Summarizing, the Visual Search (in addition to the traditional textual search) has allowed us to make easier the search of the products, and this has allowed us to improve sales. ### 10. Syte is the tool you need. Based on a simple product image or a full-blown room decor image, taken from the website itself or uploaded by the shopper, Syte searches across your catalogue and returns visually similar products that brilliantly match the current product's shape, style, color and other relevant attributes. Syte is like your favorite eCommerce search solution (think Algolia, Searchstax, Apache Solr...) but entirely focused on visual search/discovery (i.e Here's a sofa I really like. Now show me other sofas that look and feel similar). You're carrying many great products that are on backorder or out-of-stock? Syte makes it a breeze to show visually and stylistically relevant in stock alternatives to your shoppers. Unsurprisingly, leveraging Syte across our website's furniture & home decor categories has noticeably increased our conversion rate. We have a very complex, highly-layered product catalogue and textual search/discovery just isn't enough to help customers quickly find whatever they have in mind. Syte's intuitive reverse image search tool provides a visual relevancy that perfectly complements textual relevancy brought by our existing search stack. The best part: It's easy to implement, easy to customize, and their support team is one of the most dedicated I've personally seen. That's right, our customer success manager... takes our success very seriously. This clearly shows in every single interaction we have with Syte on a bi-weekly basis. I must say that they're often "on the ball" before we even realize something isn't working like it should. That's how good Liraz and her team really are. **What do you dislike about Syte?** Simple cons you can expect from most cool SaaS and search/discovery solutions out there: It costs money and price is usage-based, not conversion based (good luck on finding a SaaS whose pricing is conversion-based...). Implementing Syte through their Javascript integration method is dead easy, but you may find their injected search UI/widgets (e.g. result grid, carousels etc..) relatively hard to customize and match your existing UI style. In many scenarios, building your own UI on top of their API integration may serve you better, especially if having full granular control over the UI design (i.e HTML/CSS, your existing carousel plugins etc..) is mission-critical. **What problems is Syte solving and how is that benefiting you?** Making more visual sense out of a very large furniture/home decor product offering that has traditionally lacked the textual attributes (e.g. search tags, naming convention) needed to make the most of conventional text/record based search solutions. Shopping for furniture or home accents is all about look. Customers find something they visually like or they don't, period. Syte enables us to provide a much more intuitive shopping experience to our customers. ### 12. The complete the look doesn't showcase the exact products part of the look, only lookalikes. **What problems is Syte solving and how is that benefiting you?** I wouldn't say we had a problem or a need because we have Einstein which is similar to the product that SYTE offers, however SYTE's offering is more relevant. Also the complete the look feature is something we like - we would have just like it if the products were more accurate. The discovery and the camera are nice features however our customer is not using them as much as we would like. Team is working on finding new ways for us customer to be more engaged witht these features. ### 13.
