**What do you like best about SynXis Enterprise Platform?**

I have been using SynXis for 3 years now. It is user friendly and easy to understand.  Whenever I hire new employees as a front desk agent they get trained in a hours with the SynXis system.

**What do you dislike about SynXis Enterprise Platform?**

There is nothing much but I wish they have web based platform.

**What problems is SynXis Enterprise Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Direct billing, group block and the parents accounts are my favorite.

**What do you like best about SynXis Enterprise Platform?**

I like it if it's just used for regular hotel operations, but if it's used for running audit at a hotel it does take a lot more time to process than with other hotel PMS systems, it requires you to manually switch the tape out, manually do everything which takes a long time, otherthan that it's usually pretty fast, customer service is always nice and quick to help.

**What do you dislike about SynXis Enterprise Platform?**

Manually doing everything is a hassle. It takes up way too much time. When the system freezes, it really freezes and gets stuck there.

**What problems is SynXis Enterprise Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I haven't realized any, it's annoying manually doing everything.

It's easy to learn and beautifully color coded.

**What do you dislike about SynXis Enterprise Platform?**

It freezes a the time, multiple times an hour requiring it to be restarted.

It's a good program for tracking.

Cloud based application, easy to navigate as a revenue manager. Better than most hotel systems

**What do you dislike about SynXis Enterprise Platform?**

Changing rates is a little tricky, and there are small quirks you have to get used to when getting started with it.

Make reports more structured

It does what it's supposed to most of the time.

It is incredibly slow, buggy, and unintuitive with the layout.

**What do you like best about SynXis Enterprise Platform?**

What I like the best about Synxis is its ease of use. You pick the location you want to book, enter in the arrival and departure dates, and then quickly you will see the room rates for each room type that is available in your inventory as well as other rate options. You can even type in corporate or group rates with one easy step. 

**What do you dislike about SynXis Enterprise Platform?**

What I don't like about Synxis is the interfacing with our PMS system. Sometimes interfacing does not happen and we have to manually input reservations. 

**Recommendations to others considering SynXis Enterprise Platform:**

It's great for hotels and the hospitality business. 

**What problems is SynXis Enterprise Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The business problems we use to solve Synxis are calling the Synxis hotel partner lines to fix the issue. The benefits we have realized are that they will use a system on their end to view our computer screens/system on our end. So they can essentially control our computer to fix the issues we face.

What I like best is that it is a basic quick and easy to learn program. 

**What do you dislike about SynXis Enterprise Platform?**

What I disliked was how complex they tried to make the programs seem by the confusing directions. 

**Recommendations to others considering SynXis Enterprise Platform:**

Be prepared for the program glitches after they update and fix another program.

**What problems is SynXis Enterprise Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The benefit is that it is easily intergrated into the other systems used by the other online companies use. For example Expedia.

nothing about this software. tech support persons also says this the worst of them they are working with.

system hangs up, complex usage, system error

**What do you like best about SynXis Enterprise Platform?**

User friendly program to make hotel bookings on a daily basis for both group bookings and individual bookings. Showed available rates for all possible discounts and specials happening at that time. 

**What do you dislike about SynXis Enterprise Platform?**

There are repetitive steps throughout the program and it did not allow me to make multiple reservations at one time. Each reservation made had to be closed out before making another even if it was for the same person purchasing multiple rooms.

SynXis helped me book on a regular basis with ease and setup links for groups with special rates to book on their own.

**What do you like best about SynXis Enterprise Platform?**

As a cruise company. We used Sabre for our internal travel booking engine. When traveling for work, we would utilize it to find the best prices for when we needed to travel. I think this offered us a one-stop-shop for taking care of all of our planning. 

**What do you dislike about SynXis Enterprise Platform?**

At the time (2 years ago) the interface could have used a facelift.

**What problems is SynXis Enterprise Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Internal travel planning organization. We were also able to see what our employee cruise rates would've been if we decided to book a personal leisure cruise within that product.

**What do you like best about SynXis Enterprise Platform?**

From my experience working with SynXis booking engine on the backend I was very impressed with the ability to integrate and administer the interface. 

**What do you dislike about SynXis Enterprise Platform?**

I was not impressed with the administration console that is provided by the developers. 

**Recommendations to others considering SynXis Enterprise Platform:**

Make sure your PMS can integrate before purchasing, and the PMS provider has a 24 hour administrative support team. 

**What problems is SynXis Enterprise Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My independent clients are able to provide inventory online to customers anytime of day or night. They are also able to update and change any inventory that has been allocated.

Having to click price breakdown to view everything

It's a central location to keep our rates and easy to show our guests how to use and compare to other properties. We've seen more draw towards our properties due to the vivid displays of our photos and layout of the overall pages.

I love their customer service. You can reach them right away and they are always so helpful and help solve your issues almost immediately.

They just recently changed the layout of what used to be my favorite section -the Daily Manager tab - and now I don't like it.

We are able to easily control inventory to help maximize room revenue.

Synxis Booking Engine program is easy to use for guests. Based off of their personal info, hotels are at their fingertips and they can book direct.

**What do you dislike about SynXis Enterprise Platform?**

Synxis Booking engine however has a lot of slowness on re routing and there are a few "bugs" that need working out.

saber gives you a lot if information in one screen

the interface feels old and a lot if it works based off of codes or saber short cuts. It will take  you a long time to complete one transaction

It’s incredibly easy to learn to use. Hardly any training time needed.

The A/R side is very cumbersome. Postings and adjustments can become messed up very easily

It is incredibly simple and easy to use but don’t get over confident when managing AR

None other than its intended functionality.

It does offer more features such as the credit card chip reader but a lot of system outages

Lots of system outages and unnecessary updates

I prefer the older WynGuest system

SynXis offers excellent training, reservation capabilities, customer service, user interface, unlimited scalability connecting and cloud based capabilities. It has an excellent revenue management and responsive booking engine - perfect for independent hotels. 

**What do you dislike about SynXis Enterprise Platform?**

The back-end could look a little better. Could use a mobile app that is well integrated and easy to use on the go. 

**Recommendations to others considering SynXis Enterprise Platform:**

Great engine - would definitely recommend to any hotelier. 

**What problems is SynXis Enterprise Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Revenue management, pricing, comp set evaluation, connecting all third party channels (GDS, OTA's, web direct, etc), managing hotel inventory, reservation emails and more. This tool offers an excellent responsive booking engine and lots of advanced capabilities that eases and helps manage flow at the front desk and on property at the hotel.
