I also like that they supply graphs and contact information. **What do you dislike about iHotelier?** One thing that's difficult is that there isn't an online tutorial. One has to click and click and do trial and error to find what you are looking for and certain information. **Recommendations to others considering iHotelier:** Travel Click is a valuable tool in the hotel industry, but the information is vague. It would help if you dug deep into finding who your competition is and how you can contact businesses traveling to another hotel. Looking at all the information provided is a valuable tool. It is interesting to see the local competition and where the ADR can be improved on the property. However, the new interface was very user-friendly and helped my company gain a much-needed competitive edge. **What problems is iHotelier solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are looking to see what companies are coming to our area and seeing who might be staying where. It's good to use for tracking and how we might be able to get a hold of that company and see if we can get them as our client next time. ### 2. Hotelligence is incredible, a great way to watch accounts to manager our BT share and to see where we can steal share from the comp set. Pace reports by segment by day of week, month, year. **What do you dislike about iHotelier?** There really isn't anything to dislike about this program. It has a ton of information and can be hard to learn what is best to look at in the program, but they offer teachings. **Recommendations to others considering iHotelier:** Great product, Traveclick is worth the cost **What problems is iHotelier solving and how is that benefiting you?** No problems. Benefits-watching rates to remain competitive, learning where our opportunities are to push rate based on comp set occupancy, learning where we can focus our BT market. ### 3. Very easy to use, tabs are clearly labled. Most of all love that Group booking links generate themselves, and properly match with our inventory. **What do you dislike about iHotelier?** The only issue I can find with Travel click is that you can only save changes to reservations or group links under and administrative accounts. **What problems is iHotelier solving and how is that benefiting you?** Travelclick helps us easily manage our transient and 3rd party bookings all in one system without having to monitor using several different extranets. This program again is very user friendly, and always working properly. ### 4. A hotel hospitality property management that needs improvement **Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospitality | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** June 22, 2019 **What do you like best about iHotelier?** iHotelier starts out as a great all in one capable system that manages everything from one's check in time to what a guest can order in their room at whatever certain hour, but the management system should work to improve on bugs it has and general gimmicks that make using the system more of an inconvenience than something of a help. **What do you dislike about iHotelier?** First, $300 a month is a lot, for any thing, let alone a system that supposedly says it can do almost everything and then freeze or worse, have a bug that refuses to let you even touch the thing and leave both you and the customer stranded waiting for a reboot. It has to work on bugs as well as general gimmicks it does, like just not moving on from the first home screen to the next despite clicking on it several times forcing the computer to first freeze and then have to reboot it. **Recommendations to others considering iHotelier:** Think about whether you really need some kind of software to conduct your business. There's nothing wrong with ihotelier, but it could definitely use some improvements. **What problems is iHotelier solving and how is that benefiting you?** Honestly questioning if it's solving any new problems or adding to ones. It depends-- if you are a small business, iHotelier might not be the software for you because you can easily write things down on docs or even on paper if need be. I understand it is useful for larger schemes but a small inn might not find the steep monthly price worth the headaches one can get. ### 5. Finding settings and using the back end is a bit wonky and confusing. It can be challenging to find simple things you need to change. **What problems is iHotelier solving and how is that benefiting you?** Creating special deals and packages isn't super difficult, and it looks good on the end user interface. Sometimes, we have issues getting images to show up for the packages. ### 8. Those situations have resulted in us having to walk to guests to over properties. **Recommendations to others considering iHotelier:** Be diligent in following up with IT issues **What problems is iHotelier solving and how is that benefiting you?** Noted above, there have been multiple issues with overbooking and Oracle is still working on the issue. It’s been 10 months... ### 10. It's very user-friendly, and the booking channel is reliable and accessible. It's easy to migrate to and works seamlessly with properties. The reporting features for iHotelier are also excellent and used company-wide for a number of our hotels. Lastly, their customer service is exceptional and they have a technology team that is equipped to handle advanced tech and tracking issues accordingly -- which proves to be quite useful! **What do you dislike about iHotelier?** The training and on-boarding for iHotelier could be better. Also, when migrating off of iHotelier to another channel, there is a lot of difficulties which seem unnecessary. **Recommendations to others considering iHotelier:** If you have a number of independent properties and need a consolidated guest reservation system, ihotelier may be the option for you. **What problems is iHotelier solving and how is that benefiting you?** Value-added capabilities within iHotelier that help drive demand such as market intelligence, D360, GDS Advertising, internet marketing and revenue management make this tool extremely useful for everything pertaining to the operations of your hotel reservation system.
