"An Evolving Platform for Learning and Community, Backed by a Responsive Team"
5/5
What do you like best about Sutra?

What I like most about Sutra is how the platform continues to evolve and the variety of features it now offers, creating new possibilities for building meaningful learning experiences and communities. I appreciate its flexibility to design different experiences, from structured courses to interactive communities and self-paced learning journeys.

Beyond the technology, I truly appreciate the human side of Sutra. Lorraine, Natasha, and the entire team are approachable, responsive, and always willing to offer guidance and support whenever needed. That personal connection makes a real difference! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sutra?

At this point, Sutra meets my needs for the learning experiences and communities I create. Some aspects of navigating and customizing the platform could be more intuitive, but I appreciate that the team is continuously improving the user experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A platform built for growing together as a community"
5/5
What do you like best about Sutra?

We are running Circles of Consciousness (CoC), with about 55 graduates of a transformational personal-development course. The word "consciousness" comes from the Latin conscius, "knowing with." Sutra is the first platform I've used that is actually built around that idea. Its unique conversational course format is what made us choose Sutra. Content, reflection and conversation sit together on the same page. Each module ends with a thoughtful prompt, members answer in place, and then they read and respond to each other. Over the weeks we watched people move from "me" to "we." Members who barely knew each other now build on each other's reflections, and real relationships grow out of that. What we also value is having everything in one place: our community spaces, course modules, landing page, contacts, broadcasts, and events all live in one home instead of across five tools. Our weekly gatherings run on Zoom, and Sutra holds all activities between them.
We created a dedicated space for a 48-hour "post-gathering conversation," so the insights of a live session keep rippling outward instead of fading when the call ends.
The AI support is a real gift for a small team like ours. You can start from a document, a transcript or a rough idea, get a first version of a module, and then shape every word to fit your own voice. With the public API and integrations (Zoom, Stripe, Google Calendar), it fits well into the way we already work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sutra?

Very little, honestly. These are mostly growing pains. On our Silver plan, automations allow one conditional branch each, so more complex participant journeys need several automations. The participation analytics are useful, but I'd love to get more flexibly at that data, for example through the API. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Sutra Does It All—Flexible Design and Community-First Connections"
5/5
What do you like best about Sutra?

I love the people, the vision and the fact that I can use Sutra for everything I do - hosting my website, my membership, courses, big events and sending broadcasts to my contacts. Design options in Sutra are not rigid so can design things to look the way I want, but there are options to use templates and AI for optimising design and content if I wish. And, perhaps most important of all, Sutra is designed for fostering connections and has helps me hold space for a collaborative learning community in ways that I did not find possible on other platforms Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sutra?

There can be glitches during software updates, but I’ve always found that the support staff are happy to help me out whenever I need it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Flexible Social Learning Platform with Incredible, Warm Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Sutra?

It's flexibility and social learning aspects. You're very unrestricted when building something. It's not a dedicated course platform or a dedicated online community space. But it can be either or both. Also, the people running Sutra are genuinely amazing and warm-hearted. It's important. Oh, and Ana driving support is the best! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sutra?

12 months ago, I could have complained about a lot of little glitches, but Sutra's progress over the last year has been phenomenal; my point is that they correct issues quickly. Which is key. This is getting into the weeds, but I don't like that, on most showcase options, a member can access the full Sutra editor. Members should never have full editing options. "Plug-and-Play Ease of Use with an Interactive Experience"
5/5
What do you like best about Sutra?

It’s easy to use—plug-and-play and interactive. I’ve used it with Google Docs and email, and everything works seamlessly. The platform also uses AI functionality to monitor discussions and provide automated responses that help keep the dialogue going in the community forum. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sutra?

When I first tried it about two years ago, it definitely wasn’t plug-and-play. The setup was fairly cumbersome, and I ended up using a third party to help me get everything configured. More recently, though, with the latest advancements, it feels much closer to plug-and-play. Online forums, workshops, and communities now support AI-driven, fully automated workflows. I can literally upload a PDF of my creative content, and it will design a course from it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Engaging Design, Responsive Team, and Smart AI Insights—All in One Platform"
5/5
What do you like best about Sutra?

First, Sutra knows how to design for interactive engagement. I've discovered I can apply multiple design elements to enhance a live call, bring more life to existing content or build a good home for a group. For example, their AI can identify relevant themes across a group's discussion and help everyone follow an evolving topic over time.

Second, I like being able to support a quality platform built by people with a mission to support conscious creators. The team is incredibly responsive and a true pleasure to learn from. They keep pushing their own creative edges and inspire their users to do the same.

Third, they've attracted a great community of practitioners whose work invites me to think more broadly about my own.

Finally, it's very helpful to manage (and automate) a whole stream of engagement touchpoints within a single app/platform, at a very reasonable price. Thank you, Sutra, for understanding your customers! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sutra?

I work with a broad range of clients and worried that some would wonder what "Sutra" was all about. Fortunately, I'm able to "white label" my Sutra sites with a URL redirect whenever that matters. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Community-Centric Platform with Responsive Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Sutra?

I am really excited about Sutra's conversational courses, especially how they help a gathered community to connect. The platform collects responses and provides intelligence to help keep everyone connected. I am amazed at the thriving community and the freely given technical help from the responsive team. It's great how Sutra is always growing and listening to users to make improvements. The ease of accessing the primary person building the technology to suggest improvements is a big plus. I also appreciate how Sutra connects with Claude, making repetitive tasks effortless, and I am intrigued by its potential to function as a website. It feels like the best platform for building a community and creating cohort-based courses, and I have been enthusiastically recommending it to my techie friends who face frustrations on other platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sutra?

There is always room to improve the user interface. For me and most of the people I work with, it is easy to navigate. But then some of my less tech savy friends struggle with where things are and how to get from one module to another. Sutra team is very responsive to any feedback I give them when some of my users are struggling to find their way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Beautiful community and learning all in one platform"
5/5
What do you like best about Sutra?

It’s flexibility, I can build spaces that are visually super attractive with very advanced design capabilities. Also it's great that I can bring together lots of apps into just this one platform, so I'm only paying one subscription and get lots from it Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sutra?

I am very satisfied with the platform. It's constantly improving features so sometimes it can take me a minute to adapt to new functionalities, but the team is great and doing amazing work Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
