SUTI has been more then helpful with our growing pains and special needs. I had looked at many options from expensify to concour none that even compare, the support is impersonal and cost often high. With SUTI the support is top notch and often you even receive a phone call to resolve the more technical needs you may have. IT has been nice to grown with SUTI in the last few years and i look forward to many more. **What do you dislike about SutiExpense?** Nothing about SUTI i find as negative at all. **What problems is SutiExpense solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use SUTI for Job costing, expense management, mileage reporting. ### 2. It allows you to connect directly to your credit card provider to import transactions, though the connection frequently does not work. Suti is one of the cheaper options out there for expense reporting. **What do you dislike about SutiExpense?** The platform is not user-friendly. The connection to our credit card provider frequently gets messed up and I have to reconnect each month in order to import my transactions. I am not able to add transactions directly to the website without importing them first, which, as I've already mentioned, is problematic. The way our expense accounts are set up does not lend itself well to Suti, though they did work with us to set it up as best as possible. **What problems is SutiExpense solving and how is that benefiting you?** Most of our users are losing their credit card integration connection and have questions each month for how to import their transactions. Our financial administrator frequently spends time each month working on other employee's reports that they should be doing themselves but they have so many problems that they are not able to complete their reports without her help. Reporting is not great. It is hard to run a report across multiple users to get an overall view of our expenses. I'm sure there is functionality in the software to run these kinds of reports but it is not intuitive for how to do them. The benefits have been a cost-effective way to move to electronic expense reporting, allowing us to cut down on printed reports. We like being able to go back and look at electronic expense reports rather than digging through the file room. ### 4. Very easy to use... This is especially useful when I am traveling and want to get my receipts scanned right away so I do not lose them. **What do you dislike about SutiExpense?** Once you use a receipt and attach it to a transaction, it is tough to get back a deleted receipt. I wish it would be easier to bring back a deleted or used receipt so that I do not have to scan it again. **Recommendations to others considering SutiExpense:** Everything you need all in one package. Mobile app is great and very easy to use. As a new user it was easy to use and produced a detailed report that allowed me to be reimbursed for my purchases. Once options I really liked was being able to copy the expense reports data over that were repeat purchases and then just adjusted the date and amount. This saved a significant amount of time. **What do you dislike about SutiExpense?** One aspect that I disliked was that the website was not always easy to navigate. When they updated the website at one point there was no information associated with this, thus leading to more confusion. **Recommendations to others considering SutiExpense:** With SutiExpense the software is easy to use, but there is a good deal of responsibility on both the administrator and the user to be able to process the expenses correct. Be sure to set guidelines for specific expenses, because there are an excessive amount of options that may not apply to employee utilizing the system, which can become a nuisance. **What problems is SutiExpense solving and how is that benefiting you?** I utilized SutiExpense to be reimbursed for multiple purchases and mileage. This software ensured that my company paid me for purchases that I made for them. The benefits I realized was being reimbursed and not wasting a significant amount of money on items. ### 15. Before using SutiExpense employees would have enter all information accurately, make calculations, and attach hard copies of receipts for submission. And if that wasn't enough, the expense report needed to be physically delivered by messenger service to correct department. But wait, if corrections needed to be made, another expense form would need to be completed and resubmitted. SutiExpense allows for mistakes and changes without have to create an entire new document. **What do you dislike about SutiExpense?** There is too much white on the screen and is difficult for me to see. **Recommendations to others considering SutiExpense:** It is important that all users have a complete training before using this product. It is easy to use, fast, reliable and smooth. Finally, when reviewing expense reports, it is nice to have each line item matched to its corresponding receipt. **What do you dislike about SutiExpense?** When submitting receipts to the repository, once in awhile (10-15% of the time), it takes quite a while for the software to put the receipt into the repository (sometimes it takes 24 hours for a hotel invoice to get into the SutiSoft repository - this occurs when the hotel has sent one of our users an email attachment, and then our user forwards this receipt to the SutiExpense repository). On occasion, the customer support takes several hours to get back to our users. It is hard to identify postage stamp sized receipts when trying to match the receipts with expenses. And when reviewing expense reports, if someone has several to/from locations for mileage listed on one line item, I can't see all the individual trip details (don't know how to expand this to see all detail). Also, if someone doesn't give a business purpose at all or a sufficient business purpose for a meal, hotel charge, airfare receipt, etc., the reviewer can't add to the notes in this individual line item. You can add a note to the overall expense report, but it would be nice to be able to do this by line item. Also, it would be nice to be able to review receipts at full size right away, rather than having to make additional clicks each time you want to be able to get a better look at a receipt. **What problems is SutiExpense solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our frequent travelers are able to put together and submit expense reports more efficiently and quickly than they were able to in the past. Accounting is also able to review expense reports more quickly as well. Also able to split certain expenses to various departments easier than in the past. ### 21. Additionally, we are now eliminating the need for manual entry of expense into our accounting systems which has already saved hundreds of hours over the past two month. Furthermore, the reporting tools are super helpful to us as we can now track and review spending users to ensure they are staying on budget and identify overages. **What do you dislike about SutiExpense?** Truthfully, there is nothing at this point that I can say bad about them. I often find myself having to go between the two and being the delegate has a different way of working than what it does for yourself. Hence a couple of minor improvements to the app would be nice. It is easy to upload receipts to the expense report. **What do you dislike about SutiExpense?** We have issues with the credit card feed and duplications in the expenses. I would like to have more editing control of the expense reports as a finance approver. **What problems is SutiExpense solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are trying to provide credit card transactions to the employees on a daily basis rather than once a month. We also want to have an electronic approval workflow. As long as the employee is editing their expense reports once a week, the time of submission is quite quick so that we do not have to delay our financial close. ### 33. I can snap a picture of my receipt and it's preserved for expense report purposes. **What do you dislike about SutiExpense?** Sometimes bugs can disrupt the functionality of the system, and you have to re-enter some information. The OCR could also use some work as it rarely recognizes my charges (amounts or vendors) correctly. **Recommendations to others considering SutiExpense:** Definitely worth a try if you're looking to be more efficient. **What problems is SutiExpense solving and how is that benefiting you?** Suti speeds up our process and removes the personal element of seeking approval. You can't submit from the mobile app so I have to be somewhere I can fire up my laptop in order to submit and verify my entries. I wish the mobile app would allow an item to be added without needing to attach the receipt. The website allows you the option of adding the receipt later, the mobile app does not. It would be nice if the option to add a receipt later was on the mobile app. Also, the mobile app does not recall places you have used before. The website builds a database and recognizes previously entered locations, the mobile app does not. I feel that I should be able to do everything I need to do from the mobile app, but I can't.
