**What do you like best about Surfer?**

The grinding/time suck parts of learning SEO are all done, and it really puts the important decisions into the human's hands. When everything is automated, I am putting my full attention into refining and targeting instead of looking up numbers. Having it paired with Jarvis.ai or Google Docs puts it over the top.

**What do you dislike about Surfer?**

That I did not find this tool sooner. I might not be good enough at SEO to know where it is weak.

**Recommendations to others considering Surfer:**

Get it for $1 with Jarvis.ai.... you won't regret it.

**What problems is Surfer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SEO was alien to me. Creating content was always based on "guesses" or "marketing thinking" Whereas this tool forces me to write content that is exactly what people want, and makes it in a way that people want to search for it. It feels like I never had a proper content strategy before.

Surfer is super easy. Love the UI. You are moving around the tools with no effort completely intuitive. Content editor precisely targets location across the US and UK with natural language processing option.

**What do you dislike about Surfer?**

The on page analysis is very mind blowing at first and with no advanced knowledge in SEO you might be puzzled how to start with but their webinars are pretty helpful.

**What problems is Surfer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

How to optimize content. What other keyword related to the core keyword should you use. The content length based on the TOP 10 results. Keyword research shows high percentage similarities telling you that the same keyword has other synonyms but in fact the search intent is almost the same so that's pretty useful.

TF IDF optimization. There are more tools for keyword density, but, Surfer with its shareable plugins is the best for me. Meaning I can easily share it to writers.

Surfer SEO's pricing is a bit higher. But I locked in their black Friday deal.

**What do you like best about Surfer?**

Surfer makes competitive intelligence research far more accessible, quicker, and comprehensive. I can see the top-ranking contents' stats to produce more relevant, comprehensive, and better content.

With the details provided, I can match and exceed all of my competitors' stats, provide vital topical relevancy and move up the SERPs. I could do a lot of what SurferSEO does with other tools but with much more time commitment. SurferSEO simplifies the research process while providing real-time analysis of my content as I draft it.

This real-time feedback and progress scoring saves me time on each new article draft, adding to greater content output with more significant ranking potential. It's a simple way to outsource the research and provide better competitor intelligence

**What do you dislike about Surfer?**

I'd like it if the content editor allowed me to see my content score with a pre-selected number of images I plan to include in the content instead of needing to add them into the editor and then again into my WordPress draft. SurferSEO doesn't assess the image quality. Simply selecting the number of images I plan to add and reflecting in the draft score would give me more confidence in the content quality/ranking potential.

Really easy to use and intuitive UX. The results are very helpful for the team and we decided to sign up long term with Surfer. We are very happy with the tool as well as the customer service.

The SERP analysis could be improved. Right now it's just somewhat helpful.

The content editor tool makes it super easy and fast to write an SEO-optimized article. I can also share the word doc with my writers, which is fantastic if you don't plan on writing the articles yourself.

The URL link you use to share with your writers can only be created once. This means that if you choose to assign the article to someone else, the first person will still have access to the article doc and, therefore, also the new writer's text.

Honestly, I have had no problems so far that Surfer customer service wasn't able to handle. The most frequent problem is that you can't downgrade by yourself unless you contact customer support to help you out.

My favourite feature is the audit and content planner. They give you the groundwork extremely quickly to establish a content strategy. From there you can use the content editor to build out each page with the right length and density and related keyword mix.

Not being able to purchase editor credits. Or at least I wish there were plans in between the current ones.

It's a "no brainer" decision If you're using others tools like Jarvis with it.

**What do you like best about Surfer?**

I was previously using a combination of LSIgraph, BiQ, AnswerthePublic, and SEMrush in order to optimize my content. Surfer's SEO Audit and Content Editor tools replace that whole workflow and do a better job. It's really nice to see the counts of related keywords and know what I need to add and what I need to trim. The content score is more useful than BiQs score was as well.

**What do you dislike about Surfer?**

Occasionally the Content Editor page reloads, and you have to scroll down again. And processing some of the reports take a little bit of time. But the tool is doing WORK for you. It should take time. I'm confident that as this company grows, they'll continue to make the app more performant and add great features.

**What problems is Surfer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm a marketing manager competing for some very tough keywords on the SEO front. On-page SEO is where we need to be optimizing to move from position 10 to 3 to 1. Surfer gives me tons of insights to help me do that. It also helps me figure out other topics in "content clusters" to support my existing keywords.

**What do you like best about Surfer?**

I write web pages and educational blog posts of a technical mechanical engineering nature. I start with Content Planner and then migrate to Content Editor. I began with Jarvis.ai for generating copy (and giving me ideas) and then purchased Surfer for its integration with Jarvis — which is terrific. I love how Surfer shows me the best keywords to be using ranked in a Pareto order. I love the gauge that ranks my progress from 0 to 100. Everything is straightforward to understand. Thanks Surfer.

**What do you dislike about Surfer?**

I'm still not quite in tune with how to develop the appropriate Focus Keyword or Keyphrase to get started with the Content Editor. I still find myself snooping around in a Google Search to find a good one. I'm not upset because I know that my understanding will grow with the use of the product. I use NLPs all the time, and I wish I had a few more of them each month.

**What do you like best about Surfer?**

Surfer is a great tool for any marketing department or SEO - if you need to generate more traffic and cover more NLP keywords. I spend most of my time in the Audit, Content Planner and Content Editor sections of the platform, but looking forward to learning more about the other fields.

**What do you dislike about Surfer?**

When creating a document in the Surfer platform, and then sharing through Google Docs, I wish the content would transfer automatically instead of me having to copy it. Same goes for the Jarvis integration. If I'm working on a piece of content in Jarvis and pull Surfer's Content Editor, I'd like the content to transfer between accounts.

**What problems is Surfer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Beefing up existing landing pages to improve keyword rankings, target more entity-based keywords, identifying new opportunities for new content creation, and it helps get the work done quicker! So far, we've seen improved keyword rankings for other similar keywords, but we've only had the platform for about 3 months, so we're still working on other aspects to get the full boost.

**What do you like best about Surfer?**

That give me the secondary keywords in the content editor. I used it a recommendation on an article that was ranking in 9th place, and I optimized the content based off what the surfer said to do. Within 2 weeks, I jumped to the number 2 position just under the big dog. I also like the audit on competitors on you it's really good. I like how it gives you the backlinks to get. Another thing I like is the content planner how it gives you clusters of keywords to use make it so much easier to use it not overwhelming with 100's of keywords.

I don't think I have any things I don't like about it honestly, I can't complain about anything at the moment.

It's a no-brainer!!! You will love it just like I did it can help you in so many ways. I keep finding new ways to use Surfer I would highly recommend this product to anyone.

The content editor is really helpful for creating great on-page content from scratch or editing existing content. It provides great recommendations so you can make sure you've covered a topic in enough detail. The SERP analyser is really powerful too, I like to run audits to help uncover how I can improve existing pages. It's also a great way to sense check the competitive landscape.

I haven't found the new brief section in the content editor too useful yet, but this is a very new feature that may be improved over time.

I have 200 pages on my blog and only a few rank. Others are just dead weight. So I leave the ability to audit the quality of content written by so-called SEO experts vs. the competition and then make the decision for updates, optimization, or repositioning of the post.

There are many tools and I'm sure they all work great but the advantage of each vs. the other is not clear. The site needs more clarification with examples on how to use each tool.

I love every feature from the:
1. Content planner that gives you SEO-oriented ideas of what articles to create from one keyword, (Main page and supporting pages)

2. Keyword research tool helps you to see what keywords you can rank for (difficulty and volume)

3. Content editor is my favourite. It is super-easy to use, creates queries that are relevant. I would say that because my clients have sent in feedbacks of their success.

I'm an SEO-copywriter and on-page SEO, so it's obvious why these features are the most important to me. In all, SurferSEO is an all-round SEO tool.

**What do you dislike about Surfer?**

I think credits should be bought instead of monthly subscriptions. I'm a writer and I've been helping my clients subscribe to SurferSEO. Most times they don't have more than 4 articles to write in a month and when the subscription ends, all their credits go with it.

There's no need to give it too much thought. The reviews don't lie. Surfer is an amazing tool for every aspect of on-page SEO.

**What do you like best about Surfer?**

I can't imagine what I would do without the SERP Analysis from Surfer (I signed up in mid-2019). Just a couple of minutes with this tool and you are equipped with all the data and graphs that help you easily identify the perfect density for your target phrase, as well as how it compares to other articles on Google search results pages. It saves me a lot of time when I am creating new content or trying to improve ranking on an existing blog post.

I also like the SEO Audit report, the tool will analyze your content and help you identify areas that need improvement. If you have issues with keyword stuffing, the length of headings, or other factors that cause a poor user experience, Surfer can tell you exactly what to do in order to improve these things for better rankings.

The Chrome extension enables you to work more efficiently by seamlessly integrating the content editor in Google Docs. The extension works with Google Docs without requiring a Surfer account, so I just send to my copywriters the link to the document, and they can get to work!

Last but not least, as a senior designer, I think that the interface is intuitive and easy to use and, let's face it, better than anything else on the market! The company has definitely put a lot of thought into the UX/UI of the platform.

**What do you dislike about Surfer?**

There is no NLP query option in the lowest-priced plan, and the next plan is limited to 50 queries per month. It could be a bit cheaper for small businesses or solopreneur like me, but it's worth the price for the benefits it offers.

At first, Surfer SEO can seem overwhelming. It unlocks a lot of data that's going to take some getting used to - but there are many benefits in the end. My advice is to go through their knowledge base, it provides information and details needed to learn about the different tools. Also, I recommend joining their weekly walkthroughs and Facebook group.

SERP analyzer. It's a powerful tool featuring a friendly visual interface and many interesting features such as the audit and keyword density tool. Additionally being able to view SERP results based on different geographic locations is very useful.

In the keyword density tool, they once changed the relevancy descriptions from percentages to low, medium, and high. Thankfully they went back with the original percentages, which are much more accurate.

I have been using Surfer SEO for the past 4 months now, and to be honest, this is the best content optimizing tool I have ever used for my website and my client's website.

After optimizing my content by auditing and reviewing it on Surfer Content Audit and Content Editor tool, I can rank my website pages and blogs high on Search Engine. Also, the keywords suggested in the content editor tool are just great. They provide you with a set of 80+ keywords that, if included in your content, can make your content more user-friendly.

The SERP analyzer feature of SurferSEO helps review all the websites ranking on Google for the keyword one is looking for and gives the average word count you need in your content in order to rank high on Google.

The Auditor is my favorite feature right now. In order to improve my rankings in search, I'm auditing my pages that have the most potential to rank higher. It's easy to find because Surfer SEO shows me those pages. Then I run an audit and follow the recommendations to improve my page for SEO.

I'm not a fan of the credit system. When you pay a thousand dollars or more, you kind of expect the system to just work. Yet month by month, I have to manage credits. That prevents me from working in bulk with different stages of my optimization.

For a recent project, my favorite keyword tool gave me a whole 4 keyword variations, based on a main keyword. I ran it through Surfer and, in less than a minute, it came back with just over 1000 keywords. And that's just one example of how SurferSEO saves you time - by giving you more keyword options. If I were stuck without it, just the keyword research would have taken a lot longer to complete and been less successful!

Switched over to the Content Editor to write an article based on the main keyword, and all the important keywords to include are there, based on the words that are being used by the top ranking sites. They are shown in red, along with the number of times they should be included, and listed in their order of importance. As you use them in your article, they turn yellow at first, and green when you've used them the recommended number of times. Visual clues that save you more time.

Another great time-saving feature is the Content Planner. You enter a main keyword and Surfer brings back clusters of related or supporting keywords. Each cluster contains keywords to use in an article you can write that will support your main keyword. In one or two minutes, you can have the content for an entire website planned out for you.

The Content Editor. In the past, writing exceptional content was an incredibly manual process. You'd need a spreadsheet of keywords you wanted to include, the number of instances of each keyword, and nothing but a good guess at where the keyword should be used (i.e. in H1, H2s, etc). Surfer removes this manual element of content creation. Start typing and you'll see the Content Score move in real time as you complete words or add them in the right places or right densities.

It's not really a grumble - but for more advanced users, it might be useful to have more granular information available in the Content Editor. For instance, the Content Editor will give you an ideal number of instances of a particular keyword - but when you've finished your page copy and uploaded it to your site, you might find that there are additional factors that need your attention. Honestly though, this eye for detail is what separates a good Surfer writer and an excellent Surfer writer - so having to go back and tweak on-page elements beyond the Content Editor isn't really a problem ;)

There is so much to love about this tool. I really like how I can pick and choose features that I want to see in my analysis. I love how it breaks down the information I need to make updates and get the rankings I am after quickly. There are so many tools that Surfer gives you to increase your SEO game. There are more than enough credits to go around and you probably won't use all of them each month! I would like more credits/queries per month. The basic plan seems quite limited at 20 content planner queries. It means I can't play around with possible blog topics - feels like I have to commit to a topic to avoid wasting my limited allocation of queries. **What do you like best about Surfer?**

My background is in Facebook ads and I recently decided to use conversion.ai to help me with ideas for my blog they mentioned how Surfer could help with SEO finding terms and helping with writing content that is SEO friendly. Let me say that I will forever be a customer because it works and goes beyond what it says it can do.

**What do you dislike about Surfer?**

Nothing. I really have not found anything that I dont like.

If you're looking for a tool that will help you find Keywords and write relative content for your sites to help rank on Google. Then this is the tool for you.

I am ranking my blog right now with the help of Surfer. It helps me write content that will help with SEO and also help me analyze my pages as well.

**What do you like best about Surfer?**

It is great for SEO beginners, you don't need to do the entire SEO course or pay SEO consultants. Surfer is a great teacher and tool in itself in our case. No piece of content goes out without surferseo checks and it delivers too. There is learning curve to it just like anything else if you want to do well with. Their team is great and lots of queries/stuff is in the community that's super useful.

**What do you dislike about Surfer?**

Improvements to the content editor (latest version is great by the way, but you always need more :)) and keyword difficulty checker would make it super-awesome. This doesn't mean I dislike surfer!

Take a trial and learn the tool first how it works then give it a spin.

I love how it shows my content (after it's written) against the top-ranking results for my keywords. This helps me increase/decrease key pieces when needed. The content editor helps you improve your entire blog post to increase the likelihood of ranking highest.

The user interface can be slightly confusing and a lot of features are still in "beta" so it's hard to trust them. I know this company will continue to improve on its already stellar product.

**What do you like best about Surfer?**

Complete all-in-one tool to optimize your content and on-page. Data-driven, the tool is based on the analysis of over 500 different factors and correlation points between the top 50 results on each keyword requested. The Audit feature saves a lot of time by providing easy-to-implement key points to optimize your content. A much more complete tool than the majority of competitors for everything related to On-page SEO.

**What do you dislike about Surfer?**

The tool itself is not translated into different languages, although it does allow you to analyze data. If you don't understand English, Surfer SEO is not for you. The price may be a bit off-putting for those with small budgets.

**Recommendations to others considering Surfer:**

I strongly recommend you to try it for a week with the $1 / 1 week offer which will allow you to understand why I praise it. By the way, I know that sometimes it's scary to put your credit card to pay 1$ because usually those who do this automatically renew your subscription and make you pay the full price. Surf SEO does NOT do that. If you don't renew yourself, you won't be charged and no subscription will be launched. They have a very good reputation and want to keep it, especially since most of the people who talk about it are very well known in the SEO sphere, they have no interest in losing credibility to earn a few dollars ...

**What problems is Surfer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has allowed me to save a lot of time thanks to the audit, which allows me to be more productive on my optimizations. It has much more complete functionalities allowing me to save a little bit by avoiding having several different tools.

Easy to setup, swiss-army knife of SEO. I especially like the Content Editor feature, that let's you pick keywords you want to rank for and then gives you an idea on which topics to write about for that specific keyword.

Nothing really. Very fair pricing, nice support team.

Including all the relevant LSI keywords and seeing which topics other people write about. The Content Score makes it really easy to see, if you hit your target or not.

Surfer helped me to optimize content for some existing pages that were already ranking in the top 10 results for my keywords. After using Surfer the pages moved up a couple of rankings, which makes the monthly cost of Surfer well worth it because of the decrease in advertising spend to reach our lead goal.

**What do you dislike about Surfer?**

Although the results with Surfer are great, I wish the interface was more like the interface of a competitor that offers a much better way to present much of the data. That said, it's the increase of rankings that's the goal and Surfer does this much better than that competitor.

I was attempting to increase the rankings of some of my websites and Surfer helped me to do this.

I use Surfer SEO to write the copy for my website. I find it very easy to use and can get content based on keywords within seconds! It's great because I don't have to worry about hiring a writer or spending hours researching new content ideas.

I dislike that the NLP limit does not match the content editor limit. The fact that you run out of NLP credits before running out of content editing credits is so frustrating!

Surfer SEO has helped me solve my problem with not being able to hire enough people. I don't need any other content team members because Surfer SEO is so efficient and allows us to get a ton of work done while only having 2 people on the team.

It is a wonderful tool that can help you create SEO optimised content from the very start and can help optimise existing content. Another exciting feature is the keyword cluster and the way information is being presented. Their recent collaboration with conversion.ai has shown that they are willing to take steps on improving their game in the SEO market.

The only thing I dislike is their NLP credits on the basic package.

As a freelancer who does mainly deal with web design, content optimisation with surfer has open a new world of opportunites for me to make more money and even start my own blogging business. Killed many birds with just ine tool.

I like the fact that Surfer is well organized in terms of SEO for assisting with content creation. It is much more practical to view things like they are for this task rather than simply a big long list of keywords. The content planner is a very cool feature and will be hugely useful in focusing our efforts.

Surfer can be very complicated with lots of options. It is a powerful tool though and that takes time and patience to work through.

The ability to customize the content briefing: You can manually choose the sites you want to include in the content analysis and you can manually advise the tool to ignore certain terms. Extremely helpful if you use it to brief clients/content freelancers. No more questions like: "Do I really have to include the term 'cookie policy' 4 times?"

**What do you dislike about Surfer?**

I'm still freshly fallen in love - so it's hard to say.

**What problems is Surfer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For me it's content briefing. Which aspects do we have to write about to get top rankings? Which words should we use? It gives very clear instructions - that really do make sense! (You still need your own mind, though.)
